ambassador 11 taken over by Thomson I preferred hotel 1 the rooms are very small and the standard of cleanliness I was not impressed the beds were all marked with blood and soil not impressed also towels used better as floor cloths never seen the likes lifts an utter shambles the people standing with towels at 8am the pool area does not open until 9am the BRITS ARE WORSE THAN THE GERMANS the Thomson rep not impressed she badly needs retraining in communication skills the rooms are very small if you hire ridge you are left with one electric socket to use pretty crap in the day when everyone has I pods mobiles and hair appliances very outdated why get dropped of at hotel 1 and you are going to ambassador 11 I never seen security when I arrived these hotels are turning into stag and hen parties very sad .bar staff at pool area very ignorant behind bar you ask for ice bucket for wine you would think we asked for gold ice cubes when only one person drinking the wine you need ice bucket to keep wine coolthe staff behind bar would rather keep ice for cheap beers

stayed 27th june in ambassador2 for one week, our room (22) was on the 10th floor and we had no problems with the three lifts.the room was average but perfectly functional and the air con worked fine which was a must as the temps hovered around 40 degrees all week.the food was fine with plenty of choice and the staff were pleasant enough, the location of the hotel is spot on for the beach and bars.we went on to levante beach most days and it can get expensive as 2 beds and a brolly cost 13.50 euros to hire.be vigilant if going into the sea as there are rocks very close to the waters edge.but the big plus for us was the entertainment at night with 3 different acts on with a wide variety of entertainment to choose from.at the weekends theres a lot of stag parties in the resort and it can get a bit rowdy in the early hours, so a set of ear plugs wont go amiss.all in all we had a great holiday and would definitely go back

I've just returned from 5 nights at ambassador playa 1, I stayed half board in room 607, the reception, bar, and food are excellent I can't fault them there was a good choice of food everyday and it was all very very nice, the reception is clean and modern looking and the explorer bar is very nice the bar staff are all very nice and prices are good. Our room overlooked the pool and we had the sun on our balcony all day, however the rooms are looking very dated there's an excellent choice of English channels to pick from but you have to give a 20 euros deposit for a remote and a 15 euros deposit for the safe. It is very noisey at night but the hotel is on the square so it's what I would expect, the only issue I had was you're not allowed to use the courtesy showers until 3 pm and our transfer was at 15.25 so this was an issue cause I like a shower before I fly home and also Thursday night I have never seen so many groups of men checking into the hotel really it is very intimidating for some people and I wouldn't expect to see it at a family hotel, Benidorm was great and overall the hotel was very good but I don't think that I'll stay again because of a few minor things

Went on girls trip to Benidorm for four nights. Great stay in Ambassador hotel.. lovely hotel and rooms very comfortable.. the staff and food was excellent. We had meals included with great food and wide selection. 100% recommend this hotel if you are thinking of heading there.
Having fun in the sun is the image that Benidorm holidays conjure up - and it's certainly no myth! From summer temperatures hovering near 40° Celsius to generous January averages of around 13° Celsius, permanently clear skies mean you should pack your sunblock whenever you're coming, and hit those golden beaches!
