My first comments will be positive, then sadly, followed by negative. We arrived at The Pueblo Indalo in the middle of the day in temperatures around 40 degs.,,The coach dropped us at the bottom of a great many steps, the approach to the hotel, no one there to greet us or give a helping hand with luggage, something, in all my experience of travelling I have never come across! As we all struggled up the steps with suitcases, no one informed us, that a little further along there was a ramp which might have been better for the majority of us! On arriving in Reception, there were a great many irate holidaymakers, which didn't get us off to a good start! The Hotel itself is a huge complex and very attractive, looking like something from the 'Arabian Nights', my companion and I agreed, however, when given the key to our apartment and a map in order to find it, we were by now absolutely shattered, and it took quite a while to find it, though when we did, we were pleasantly surprised. The apartment was very smart, with most things one would need while there, air conditioning the quietest we'd ever experienced and very efficient, and desperately needed in temperatures of 40 degs.+ Spotlessly clean too, with plenty of clean towels and bedding. The grounds to the hotel, including the three pools are excellent and there are several shops on site too. We came to the conclusion, ideal for families, of which there were many, mostly Spanish, and Yes, it's Spain, BUT, it's a big BUT, the Restaurants, were 'manic', you couldn't hear yourself speak, I have never, ever hear anything like it before, and exacerbated by the queueing each meal time, for those of us on All Inclusive! I have to say, that the food and choices were excellent, there was, indeed something for everyone, and plentiful too, and the Staff were extremely efficient, pleasant and polite, especially working under such pressure too. The Bar Staff, were also very pleasant, and the drinks included on AI, were such as I've never seen before, anything and everything was included, excellent for those that appreciate a holiday drink. Now, I must mention the entertainment, as for Adult entertainment, that was non-existant, it was all geared for the Spanish Children, which was lovely to see, however, we had rather hoped for some traditional Spanish Entertainment, e.g. Flamenco Dancing, Spanish Guitar or similar, there was a wonderful Piazza at Hotel which would have been the ideal place for such entertainment, we were very disappointed I'm sorry to say. We did join in with the Aqua Aerobics in the main pool on several days, great fun too, but everything is in Spanish, and although we didn't mind, there were others that quite obviously did. My conclusion is, that I would recommend the hotel for families, however, not for couples, single people or the elderly to many steps, too much noise and Pueblo Indalo Hotel is definitely geared up more for families, especially Spanish families, which I have no objection to, lovely to see families on holiday, but, definitely not a 'chill' holiday, for more reasons than just the temperature! I will end my Review by adding, loved the Complex and grounds, quite spectacular, and we are glad to have been there, so thanks to all at Pueblo Indalo for our holiday, but, sadly we won't be returning.

Hotel was recommended by travel agent. Low rooms were requested. Complex is huge but this dose not effect in anyway the staff treat you as an individual at all times. The newly refurbished rooms were clean spacious with all amenities. Room cleaning was every other day & more if requested. Our toilet leaked on several occasions due to an inconsiderate resident putting nappies down the toilet !!! The attention of the staff to clear & sort the problem was prompt & attentive. All pools were clean & had life guard attention from early morning till late evening's. They also were very attentive & vigilant. Restaurant food was excellent every day & every meal. All staff were polite & attentive to every detail. I can only recommend this complex 100% & thank them for making a family holiday for five adults one four yr old & a 22mth old a wonderful one.
Stayed here for a week in June 2015 returned today. First of all the rooms where all freshly refurbished, everything clean and fresh EXCEPT the pillows... As you can see from the photos attached...
Stayed here for a week in June 2015 returned today. First of all the rooms where all freshly refurbished, everything clean and fresh EXCEPT the pillows... As you can see from the photos attached, covered in hairs... Yuk! The toilet system had a smell from it soon as you flushed it and the water in the pan was constantly brown!!! The pool area was always clean and tidy but way over crowded, searching for a sunbed most days. Trying to get in the pool was another struggle as it was full! The hotel entertainment I wouldn't rate at all as everything was in Spanish, and geared for their entertainment, nothing was translated. The food was good always found something to eat daily.
The weather is near-perfect for holidays in Mojacar as Costa Almeria is officially the driest area in Europe, making rainfall rare in winter and almost unheard of during the summer months. The mild Mediterranean climate means winter temperatures that rarely drop below 20° Celsius, peaking around a fabulous 30° Celsius in the summer months. That, and the average of 320 days of sunshine each year, makes Mojacar holidays ideal any time of the year.
As UK, Courses or boosters sometimes advised: hepatitis A (not normally for package tourists).
