just return from my trip, was happy with my choice of 3 star hotel.Room was very spacious and clean , had a fridge in the room could do with a hair dyer. the staff was very helpful and friendly. Meal time had something different every night the only thing I would change would be the arrangement with lunch time in the canteen can be a little hectic waiting around for a table. But all in all the hotel is set in beautiful surroundings. :) :)

Stayed here first week of April '15. Hotel is set on a height just above the beach, steps down to beach. Steps up and down to the restaurant, rooms are nice, most with sea view, bathrooms really need updated, shabby looking and don't try to shower before breakfast as the water is at a trickle with so many doing the same, the food in the restaurant is not of particular quality, meatballs, pork bits, the only nice meat dish was the roast beef when it was served, there is a minibus that will leave you into the old town, operates mornings and afternoons, if the above issues were addressed this resort could be really great.
Having just returned from a week (6-11 April 2015), staying in the D block 4th floor (411), the overall view is brilliant with a note to self to return. A little disappointed with the view from...
Stayed just one night as arrived 1am Woke up to cockroaches in room, bare wires on show, filthy bathroom, terrible kitchen facilities, broken tiles on balcony. Went to reception with cases and left and looked for another hotel. We was offered another room but there was no way I was going to stay in that hotel any longer. I don't know where it gets its 3* from.
We went here for 4 nights at the end of March. Was really looking forward to it as it had everything we wanted. Tennis courts, Gym, Swimming pool, Pool table, Table Tennis etc. Everything was below...
Having just returned from a week (6-11 April 2015), staying in the D block 4th floor (411), the overall view is brilliant with a note to self to return. A little disappointed with the view from our room, as a pine tree had grown over the years to restrict our view, but this never stopped us from sitting on the balcony when in the room, which was not very often, as we were on holiday (it is only this, that makes my score Very Good from being excellent). We had interconnecting rooms which individually were spacious, clean and well maintained (cleaned every day, with linen replacement if required) All the staff, from bar to cleaner were brilliant. The reception staff were and are fantastic (Sonj, Carla, Jasmin, Carmen, Katia and Maria de Luz), with local knowledge, will to help, nothing to much bother… I could go on. Yes the complex is a little dated, but honestly “what value for money”. The steps were and are plentiful, but when on holiday, what is the hurry? All food was fresh and whilst one may initially think, burger and chips, why not try burger with as salad, pork cutlet with rice, salad and boiled potatoes; experiment with a mixture. A wonderful beach only 20 meters away, with an accommodating stroll, no more than 20 minutes away to the fantastic Old town with its own character. Local activities are plentiful: dancing bars, nightlife to suit all, bars, shops and eating places, Matador bull ring… Hotel activities include: TV football, different shows nightly, from dancing girls, bingo, reptile and parrot shows
It may be cold, wet and grey in the UK, but the weather on Albufeira holidays couldn’t be more different. Summers are hot and dry and last right through until October, while winters are much milder than British ones. With so many great beaches around the area and great sunshine, your Albufeira holidays will be packed full of great memories.
