We booked these apts because our usual accommodation was unavailable. The two bed apt was spacious for the two of us, very clean, and well maintained. The complex is rather far from the center of Vilamoura but if you like walking ( we do ) then this will not be a problem. The kitchen is very well equipped for self catering with fridge freezer, microwave, gas 4 ring hob and dishwasher. There were two balcony's......one off the living room and the other off one of the bedrooms. Air conditioning is provided in the living area and bedrooms. We had the benefit of two bathrooms with a shower in each. the furnishings are very basic and utilitarian and the beds were the most uncomfortable I have experienced in the 7 years I have been traveling to Vilamoura. There was an ancient television provided which had only one English speaking channel .....BBC world news.....very disappointing. The reception area is seldom open ( even during the hours posted on the door ) and you need to phone for queries. Overall I found the complex itself basic and lacking in atmosphere during the 18 days we spent there, so perhaps a short visit would be better. Would I stay there again .....most unlikely. Overall this was not one of the better complexes in which we have stayed but a few days here would probably be OK.

We got home yesterday after an 11 night stay at Eden Village. This is really a home from home. If you are looking for a place to stay that is close to night life - this is not for you. If you are looking for a place to totally relax and chill - This IS the one! We arrived on the 17th May (Sunday) to be welcomed by a lady who was there just for us. She took us to our apartment and WOW! We had a One Bed Apartment, which had 2 bathrooms (toilet/bidet/sink/shower) One Bedroom with a HUGE bed and a large balcony. The lounge had settee, that could be made into 2 beds, TV, Dining suite and TV (limited English channels). Another balcony was off this room and here was a build in Barbecue - a real treasure. The kitchen had EVERYTHING - Oven/Hob/Fridge - freezer/Washing Machine/ Dishwasher/Microwave and so many utensils and crockery that was all matching - a real home from home! A lovely pool is on site and very welcome as it gets very warm - even in May! The apartments are a good 30 minutes walk away from the main area of Villamoura, but a 'local street train' passes very close by at least every hour - Every day - but stops around 18:00.cost 2 Euros each (£1.50 each). A Taxi cost us 6 Euros (current exchange rate = £4.50). The room was cleaned 3 times whilst we were there, but there were fresh towels and cotton bed linen in abundance! The reception was open every day except Sunday and Tuesday and was vey helpful. We had a car and was concerned about the security gate - we got a fob. The day before we left Our Transfer was booked. The Restaurants on the harbour serve lovely food, but the ones a street back do also, but much more affordable. Do go and see Vanessa at Lilly's Bar as she is a Gem! So many lovely places to visit if you have a car like we did - too may to say! We are going to travel agent tomorrow to book to go here again!

Just back from 8 nights in the Eden Village on the outskirts of Vilamoura,we had a nice large apartment in block C which had 2 bathrooms and 2 balconies, only issue we had was a lack of reception opening times which we put down to it being early in the season.the apartments are 20 minutes walk to the marina and are on the busroute for Faro/Albufeira, buses every 45 mins ,the tourist train passes by every 35 mins.Parkys Bar and A Carpa restaurant are a short 5 minute walk away,we,went to both every night of our stay and enjoyed all as they were so close.we enjoyed a pleasant stay and would recommend the Eden Village

Booked a one-bed apartment through Travel Republic and paid £75 for 3 nights. Not expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised. The accommodation is great for two people, but sleeps 4 in a twin bedroom and a sofa bed in lounge. There are two bathrooms to allow sofa-bed users some privacy. Very clean and modern with dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, gas hob and oven, fridge freezer and a good assortment of cooking utensils and equipment for some self catering. No hair dryer. Need car to get to Marina but very close to Pinhal golf course. We went mid October and the place was deserted, but in summer I expect the place would be much busier. For the price we paid we were delighted.
