We have just returned from these apartments and i must say we had a lovely time. We arrived early afternoon and we were impressed with how clean everywhere was. The reception staff were very friendly...
Booked this with My Holidays Praia da Rocha -AL via Booking.com. Aptmt was in blue & white towers which seem to have been sublet & overall not greatly maintained. Didn't have access to pool in main hotel over the bridge but this was not that clear when booked & doesn't appear to say it on site now either but also strange you can't book this accom via Booking.com now too!!? Apartment was basic but expected this from reviews. Beds were hard & mine very creaky every time moved do not great sleep. Pillows lumpy but ok. Linen was clean but some had ingrained marks on them. Didn't have enough towels & crockery for 4 people & took 5 days (of 7 day hol) to get more. No obvious check in or contact point other than a portacabin opposite tower G. Was only by chance I saw the 'rep' to get what needed. No instructions given for check out so handed keycard in to portacabin at 4:50am when left. Location ok & we did get a reasonable view as requested. Also had air con which was nice. No safe in room tho & no option to get one. Cars were parked all over place around complex so had to take care when entering/leaving accommodation. No noise issues. Shame about general state of place & pool on that side been left to decay. We didn't let it spoil it hols but won't go back.
Cheap and cheerfull we only used are room to sleep beds are ok pillows are crap but rooms where cool no aircon you can hire them but if you keep curtains closed during the day its fine . sunbeds are...
We have just returned from these apartments and i must say we had a lovely time. We arrived early afternoon and we were impressed with how clean everywhere was. The reception staff were very friendly and delt with us very quickly. We were on the 8th floor so had to wait for the very slow lifts, there are 4 but only 3 were working and 1 of those didnt go to the 8th floor. On first impressions the room was clean, bright and cool. We were a little disappointed to be facing the road but it wasnt really an issue and didnt spoil the holiday. There was a big bathroom that really needs some tlc and updating but it was ok, the shower was very powerful. The twin bedroom was spacious but the beds were very uncomfortable and need replacing, they creaked with every movement. The living area was big with a day bed and a pull out bed, these were ok. The pillows need throwing away, just lumps inside a pillow case. The kitchen is very very basic, only 2 electric rings, no way of doing toast as no grill or toaster, no kettle, only 2 saucepans, 1 frying pan and 1 kitchen knife. We did have 4 each of cutlery, crockery and glasses. The fridge was good, kept everything very cold. We didnt cook in the apartment as we just wanted to relax for a week which is exactly what we did. We did notice alot of broken and chipped floor tiles that really need to be replaced as we did keep catching out feet on them. The pool area was lovely, very clean everywhere and we didnt mind paying for the sunbeds and shades, 1 euro each. It did stop people saving beds and not using them. The pool itself was clean although cold and there was something going off every afternoon, Water polo, aqua zumba etc. We didnt eat at hte apartments so cant comment on the food. The resort itself is lovely, the beach is beautiful but be prepared for a climb back up from there to the town. Plenty of bars and restaurants although not much in the way of selection, Most are just chips with chicken, burgers etc. We craved something other than chips but struggled to find anything. My daughter is vegetarian and ended up just having pasta everyday. I think we would go again if it was cheap enough, we booked this as a last minute.
After reading all the reviews for here, we was not looking forward to our experiance here. This was a really cheap holiday and just looking forward to a nice break away. The Hotel was clean, the...

After reading all the reviews for here, we was not looking forward to our experiance here. This was a really cheap holiday and just looking forward to a nice break away. The Hotel was clean, the bathroom was a bit shbby but apart from this, was a great place. Pool was clean, staff was friendly and the food was ok. Very central to the town and the beach - what more can you ask for. You pay for what you get, and this was certanily the case. Enjoyible trip all round.
