Have just returned on 28/8/15 after 9 nights at The Terrace Club. Read reviews so was open minded but most of the negative comments were not true. I emailed the hotel prior to my stay and asked for 2 fans in the room and also a sea-view and I got both! Admittedly there are more plush hotels nearby but the Terrace Club is very good value for money with a great view from the pool. The pool can be a bit of a free for all when it comes to sunbeds (get there for 9.15 am), but the Terrace Club's only real downfall is that there is hardly anything to do for children in the evening and there are only a few other bars nearby (try Palmeiras bar) The breakfast and evening meals (we were half board) were more than adequate with continental style breakfast and buffet evening meal. The drinks were cheap (pint of lager 2.4 Euro, house wine 1 euro per glass (and nice) sangria 12 euro per litre or 16 euro for 1.5. One evening the waiter forgot our drinks order but the night after gave them us free - now that is service! Rooms were massive with all amenities, cleaned by very friendly cleaners once every 2 days. I found the staff (especially reception) very helpful. The pattisserie which forms part of the hotel is also very nice and quite cheap. The area is beautiful and there are a lot of things within a small taxi ride (reception will always book for you) A boat trip to the caves is recommended. We also did a trip to Zoomarine which was great but very busy. Rocha beach nearby has all water sports catered for - me and my lad did a 30 minute pedlo ride which only cost 5 Euro. I would definately recommend this area and this hotel, even more so if there was more for kids to do.

Just returned from a holiday at the Terrace club Hotel lovely and Spacious and staff very good and always helpful Location a little quiet but not a problem Some reviews on about towels being left on sunbeds and people queuing at gate at 9am in the morning to put towels on sunbeds, I was one of these people, because after a few days of being unable to get a place I thought if ya can't beat em join em, plus its better than the Germans putting their towels on them at 6am in the morning

We were in block 6 on the third floor overlooking the pool and the sea. We could see the entertainment very well from our balcony. The beach is in walking distance and the hotel is in a great location. It's very near 2 water parks and beautiful beaches. The food is very nice and there is a good variety. The pool is very big but it is hard to get a sun bed because the same people put towels on them in the morning and in the afternoon but don't arrive into the afternoon. The room was very spacious with a kitchen, two bedrooms, bathroom and two balconies. Overall we enjoyed the holiday. We found the staff very friendly and helpful on all occasions. We didn't want to come home and will visit again.

We returned from terrace club on the 20th August after having a fantastic holiday, the apartments were clean, very spacious with everything you need, the staff were all extremely helpful and friendly and all spoke excellent English, we stopped half board and although the breakfast was continental it was still lovely and the evening meals were all delicious, snacks are available at the pool bar and are also very tasty, the pool opens at 9.30 and soon learned if you don't start queuing from 9 you can't get sun beds but we spent a lot of time at the beautiful beach, there is a large supermarket nearby and a few restaurants and bars, all in all an enjoyable holiday, thankyou terrace club ,
