Very clean, food good and lots to choose from. Large pool to the front and a quiet small one at the back.Old Rhodes town is worth a visit. In the hotel the staff were lovely. The one negative is we paid £75.00 for a sea view which was after the swimming pool which was very noisy in an afternoon with guests plus the entertainment people so if you have small children that like a sleep in the afternoon forget the sea view

Restaurant Manager reference (Sparta) Excellent, efficient and friendly staff all round, with reference to the helpfulness and friendly nature of the main Bar bartender who does not stop pouring drinks and the restaurant manager a true Spartan and gentle man. Cleaners were little stars every day! Rooms were really clean, the lounge areas were great plenty of lovely sofas to have a quite drink with the wife. the pool was tremendous plenty of room, still have to towel your poolside loungers early ie join the club LOL Fantstic infinty pool with cascading water flowing over your feet when sitting on it, bliss. Now, Food, you could not want for anything, perfect at Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner and inbetween. I stayed there for a week from the 14th August with my wife who is 63 and I'm 64! Pool was lively every now and then with sporty entertainment and evening entertainment laid on. I sayed on second floor and had the most fantastic sea view especially at sunset, although at the front there was the sound of people enjoying themselves and low traffic sounds, it was not enough to keep you awake especially after the main barman done his bit LOL It was remarkable value for the price, highly recommend for all types of parties whether they be couples or families, Rhodes is a beutifull Greek island.

Ive just returned from a week at the Oceanis. I have to say - it ticked all the boxes i wanted from my holiday. The Hotel was great value for money. I booked through Jet2. The room: We were allocated a ground floor garden view room, which i was a bit concerned about on arrival. Over the days I realised it had many positives - it meant the room after say about 12 was in the shade... which when the temp is around 33-34*c is a welcome relief. We also looked over an orchard of Pomegranet and Orange trees all in fruit. Lots of Swallows flying above - nice and quiet. The Room itself was slightly dated, though comfortable and Large. I slept well and found it a nice space to retire to every day. The room was not without faults though - There was a leak above the bath (which was fixed, but i think was a known issue before we arrived as there was evident tampering upon our arrival) there were also blemishes on furnishings like the fridge - as well as an exposed old wire in the bathroom. Neither of this really caused us inconvenience and would not spoil a holiday. I would say previous reviews complaining of such manners really need some perspective. If that kind of issue really bothers you on a holiday - then yours spending too much time in your room. We were also bothered by a rather noisy soil pipe which decended through our Bathroom meaning you heard every time someone flushed above you. All inclusive: The food and drink i found to be great. Lots of choice - infact probably more than any human could stomach in a sitting - adding that each day was approx 50% different, meant that you could eat very differently each day, Lots of fruit, veg, Meats, breads etc. Again those who have complained of this in the past need to realise that a buffet setup is always slightly more mass made than that of an a la carte menu meaning presentation on your plate might be different. I left with a fully belly and lots of options unexplored on a daily basis. The Beer and wine i found to be alot better than expected - i had no issues supping the beers around the pool all day. Yes - cocktails arent included, but spirits are - and are quite liberal. The Pool(s): Perfect. Lots going on all day with a great happy atmosphere around it. Because there are lots of different spaces to go to when your day suits it everyone finds their place. People reading books in the shade - others on the side sunbathing others throwing balls across the pool. Etc Alternatively there was a pool to the rear with a massage spa setup. We didnt use this - just through lack of time really. But it gives a welcome retreat if the crowds to the front pool get too much - which it can do. Location: The beach outside the hotel isnt great, I would recommend taking jelly shoes or something similar - the beach is stoney, and it gets worse in the water for the first say 10 yrds with the rocks almost impossible to walk on. Once past the 10yrd mark it gets sandy and pleasant again. We preferred Rhodes beach itself though also very stoney. Staff: Always happy to help, always approachable. Didnt have an issue with any of them. Which is the minimum you would expect. However its always nice to have human beings around you to help your holiday tick over with ease. :) Value for money: Excellent if not exceptional. Ive stayed in many hotels across the world. And whilst on some levels this isnt a 5* hotel, it does do what it does very well. Weve already said that although we dont like to hit the same place twice with a view to always explore new places... if we are stuck with no where to go - we will be back next year. Thats a very rare comment from me. Advice to mgt: You have to sort out the problem with the sunbeds. At one point i counted 20 people in the pool and around 100 sunbeds occupied by towels - with only around 30 people actually present. It was 11am and no sunbeds free as everyone had claimed them. Ive heard about other hotels collecting peoples belongings if they dont return to them within the hour. That would certainly correct this behaviour.

We are a couple that visited in August. Overall the hotel was great and fulfilled all we wanted from a hotel. The pool area is especially good, it is big and comfortable. We liked the snacks and free beer all the time. The best thing is the service- all workers are so nice and welcoming!!! They let us stay in the pool and eat after checkout, and even gave us a private shower room and towels. The food was mostly good, breakfast was greasy but it all tasted good. If you stay more than 3 nights it gets repetitive. The great thing is that you can order a lunchbox from the reception if you go on a daytrip. The minus part is that the rooms are kind of old, not luxurious. And that mist of the hotel's rooms have twin beds and not double, so ask for a double when you arrive. Overall it was great! :)
