Me and My partner have just come back from this hotel and we have some useful tips and some constructive feedback for the hotel. The hotel itself is set in a very good location with the beach right on the door step, The sun loungers and the umbrella is 5 euros, which is resonable as it is on a clean beach.I would opt for the pool as the sun loungers and umbrella are free, Remember to put your beach towel (take your own) down early to secure your beds, as they go fast! We were on the half board basis, which includes breakfast and dinner(buffet style)wich was edible a little bland, BUT the drinks are not included and can rack up to quite alot, as a bottle of water is 3euros a time, a 330ml coca cola is 3euros, and a can of beer is 4euros. We did enjoy the steam room and jaccuzi, that was 12 euros each for 1 hour, which is thought is a little pricey for a 4 star hotel... Room service was good and beds and towels were changed pretty much everyday. We had a seaview room which was nice, Would recommend high floor and for those who like the sun in the morning to opt for a sea view. Most days were 30 degrees which was very nice.We were in the family season,(june/july) so a screaming child was often heard. August/sept would recommend for young people/couples.If you want to go into town there are two ways, One is up the steep hill which has lighting, or the other is the steps( which has no lighting). I would not recommend attempting this hill if your are old(unfit)or have asthma. There is a lot of fur shops, gift shops and bar/restuarants which all are the same or similar price. 4 euros for a bottle of heiniken. I would recommend going into the market shop and getting your water ( 6 big bottles for 1.20euros). Also be warned that Greece is big on receipts, which you have to take with you, this is because of a no receipt, no pay policy that the government have put on to crack down on tax avoidence. They let you know if you have forgotten your receipt. The gift shop staff in the town did seem quite desperate and did hover around you or try and make you buy things, which personally puts me off. Back to the hotel! The bar staff were quite friendly, and spoke good english, most guests were Russian,German or from that area, Us brits were the minority. Most the receptions staff were nice, but a few had a bit of attitude and did not know good customer service. Overall I would rate this hotel as more a 2.5/3 star hotel. I did enjoy Halkidiki Greece, but sad to say I will not be returning to this hotel. Many Thanks

Just returned to Essex ,after two weeks at this beach front hotel, had sea view rooms and the sunrise and sunsets were nature at its best. Bathroom was new and the shower the best we have ever had ,constant hot water . Staff were very good from our maid upwards could not fault them.Even the owner took the time to chat . Ideal hotel if you travel with children as the sea is shallow. Plenty of sun beds, beach towels for hire for ten euros deposit returned when you leave. Not many English in the resort caters more for the rest of Europe not a problem for us ,but a shame as a nice place for a relaxing holiday .

We stayed at the hotel in June 2012, and it was unforgettable. The sea is just there, by your feet. you enjoy your breakfast, or dinner on the terrace, overlooking the sea. The venue is not very modern, but it definitely has many pluses if you are looking into having a great time partying or just relaxing on the beach. The location is perfect: on the first line, in the centre of the village of Kalithea. There is a slight steep road you have to take in order to enter/exit the hotel, but it is not that important. There is no entertainment in the hotel, but it is okey, since the village is full of bars, cafes, taverns. You only have to cross the road. The views you get from the top of the hotel are unforgettable. I have never seen the see so beautiful, the water warmer or the sand nicer. As a special bonus, you get the ancient ruins of Zeus Temple just next to the hotel.
