The staff make your stay If you are polite to them they go out of their way to make your holiday a great experience. You are paying for a two star hotel that should be a three star hotel. Having previously stayed in the Kallia Beach Hotel and the Despo Hotel in Gouves, Crete there really is not much to choose from the three The pool at the Danelis is a dream. The food is typical Cretan with the most delicious salads and breads, with fresh preserves in the morning. Unlike the Despo and Kallia Beach there are no snacks available just drinks, so you should bear this in mind if you've got ice cream guzzling children, however, this is just about the only negative. Local drinks like beer, raki, brandy and so on are available in the all inclusive. The restaurant is on the top floor and there is a lift. There are amazing views over the village and to the hills beyond. At the start of my stay there were not that many people there but it soon filled up and I found that apart from two other ladies I was the only Brit there. The hotel is very favoured by Russians. My bed was extremely comfortable and I slept very well. Beds were changed every three days and the towels every other day, I had a security box in my room but it did cost E25 for two weeks. Air conditioning would have been extra but was not needed as my holiday was from 27th May to 3rd of June when the temperature, for me, is perfect. Analipsi is a lovely, sleepy little village, the shopkeepers and restaurateurs are engaging and charming and I would say that the resort is more suited to families with children and older people as most youngsters would prefer the nightlife of the nearby Hersonissos and Malia. I met some people during my holiday who were staying in one of the all singing all dancing luxurious beach resorts (bit like Butlins on steroids) along the seafront and they paid a fortune for what I had paid a fraction to enjoy. Hey, you get what you pay for.....if you go not expecting a 4/5 star holiday you will enjoy - it's all about the mindset. Have a great time. Helenx

Hotel z bezpośrednim wyjściem na ulicę. Dwa budynki hotelowe otaczają mały basen. Korzystanie z leżaków i słońca wokół basenu utrudnia gęsta bujna roślinność. W formule "wszystko w cenie" - trzy posiłki , brak przekąsek między posiłkami, z napojów dostępne woda , woda gazowana , cola, sprite, kawa rozpuszczalna, piwo, wino, uzo i raki. Kawa po turecku, i inne alkohole płatne. Do plaży około 500 metrów . Plaże żwirowe i piaszczysto żwirowe . Leżaki i parasole wszystkie płatne. Miejscowość bez hałasu i zgiełku. Wszystkie niedostatki pobytu wynagradza piękna pogoda.
Malia enjoys a typically beautiful Mediterranean climate with long, hot summers and mild winters. June to September are the most popular times to go on Crete holidays because of the ideal sunny weather; at their peak temperatures can reach 40° Celsius, which is perfect for working on your tan!
Spring is fresh and lovely, with colourful bursts of wild flowers scattered across the countryside while autumn is pleasantly peaceful. In the winter the weather in Crete can be wet and sometimes cooler with occasional rain showers.
All travellers are advised to ensure that tetanus and polio vaccinations are kept up to date. A yellow fever vaccination certificate is required from all travellers over one year of age coming from infected areas.
