This hotel has a splendid location, right at the beach. It is middle sized, newer neighbouring hotels are much bigger. It is family runned, so personal and friendly, but no nonsense. It is obviously build some 30-40 years ago, but recently modernised. Most facilities are update. Rooms are small, and have basic furniture and simple decoration, bathroom also very small, but functional. No complaints at all about cleanliness. Every day clean bedsheets! There are musquitos entering, so better close doors before dark and check room before going to sleep. Air-co is supplementary @ 4 euro's a day. TV is small and outdated. Excellent wi-fi!

I am half Dutch, half Scots, but love to travel and enjoy good food at good prices. We spent a week in Corfu, based in Dassia. Dassia beach is ok, but you will have to fork out 10 euro for two deck chairs if you are near the big hotel. Move further down and get chairs from a little tourist/jewelry shop and it will cost you half. Give the tourist trap restaurants a miss and walk down Dassia main road towards Ipsos. On the outskirts of Dassia you will find a big coffee shop and a couple of restaurants. Go to the one called Kastro - wooden sign. We enjoyed souvkaki done on the grill for 1.20 euro. You won't get better. Try their tzaziki. It is where the locals hang out, so don't expect the watron to speak much English. We went there a number of times.

My wife and I stayed at the Dassia Beach Hotel for a week at the start of May 2015. We transferred by private taxi - which I would recommend particularly in high season. 25 minutes direct for us in May. We were warmly welcomed by Costas when we arrived. Our room was on the top floor with ocean views. Quite stunning. We often had an evening drink on the balcony before heading out for our dinner. The room was spotlessly clean as was the bathroom. We were very well looked after by Eva at breakfast time. The breakfast was great and eaten a few feet from the Mediterranean sheltered from the warm morning sun by overhead vines. Throughout our stay Xanthi was a superb host. She was approachable friendly and very informative. The sunbathing deck in the sea at the rear of the hotel was a real boon enabling us to lie in the sun till 7pm. I could not recommend this lovely hotel more highly with its location, views and warm friendly staff.

I stayed here during a recent trip to Corfu and was very happy with my choice. The hotel sits on the beachfront, literally steps to the ocean, rooms are clean, staff is very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet was lovely with plenty of options to satisfy everyone (eggs, meats, breads with a nice selection of preserves, pastries, fresh fruit, yogurt, juices, coffee, tea. It is within walking distance to many attractions in Dasia and easily accessible by bus. Corfu town is a quick 30 minute bus ride away (with stops).
