Have just returned from a two week say at the Royal Albertros Moderna as a couple. Lots of choice for food and drink,no matter what time of day you will almost always be able to have something to eat, from 5 am till midnight, loved the beach burger, pizza and pasta restaurant. Great that ice cream also included in the all inclusive :-). would of loved to get ice cream at the beach but only a 3-4 minute walk so not too bad.I was impressed with the service overall from start to finish, the only thing I would recommend is to get a red flag from reception on arrival otherwise you will be asked constantly if you want to do trips ect... this is my first trip to this hotel and I must say it is the best I have visited in Egypt and have stayed at a good few hotels in Egypt, only returned today and already looking to book for next year, must say staff were very friendly and are always willing to help. you will not be disapointed...:-)
Lovely hotel with fantastic staff who will always go the extra mile for you- great choice of food-you will never go hungry, can be a little busy by the active pool but staff will always help you find...

This was my 27 th visit to this hotel which has continued to improve over the years with additions such as The Columbus coffee shop, the new Sports bar with Metwally, The new Club Mac beach restaurant, and beach bar, not to mention the New Spa. All of these have been great additions to the Hotel and have kept it modern and up to date. Our last visit was disappointing, but not because of the Hotel or the Staff who work very hard, long shifts, who work with a smile and are very willing to make your holiday a good one. We found it hard to sit and relax in any of the all inclusive restaurant due to bad mannered Russian guests who fill their plates high with food, and their table. they push in, and are rude to the staff, they let their children run around whilst we were trying to relax and eat. The greed is unbelievable. Although this is a family friendly Hotel, we do expect some good behaviour and manners from children of all nationalities, but sadly, this time, it was like feeding time at the Zoo. With the exception of the White Elephant run by Ahmed, not all inclusive, so quieter, and waiter service, so a welcome change from the manic AI restaurants. We were also very concerned about the guests, Russian and english who consumed large amounts of alcohol both day and night, which made dining particularly noisy and uncomfortable. We witnessed an english man dangle his three year old child over a banister overlooking a restaurant downstairs, by his ankles to retrieve a balloon!! The father had been in the Sports bar drinking all evening, we were shocked!! There was fighting in the evenings between guests too intoxicated to know where they were, and what carnage they were causing. The Staff are not allowed to say anything to these guests, they cannot stop them drinking, even though it upsets other guests trying to enjoy their holiday. But sadly, they are spoiling holidays. I have had many fabulous holidays at this Hotel, but this will be my last, Not because of the staff or Hotel, but because of the way many guests feel that All Inclusive means to drink the Hotel dry everyday, then behave badly. And parents who feel that their children can run free, misbehave, and do what they like. I love children, but there is a definite lack of good manners and behaviour at this hotel.
