The hotel itself, the construction and location is not bad. But the service is not as good as I was expecting. We had to wait quite a few in order to get the rooms as we had requested them, the waiters are a bit lazy even if our stay was during Ramadan so the hotel was practically empty. Wi-fi signal very bad and food not of high quality. The pools are great.

We recently stayed at the Hyatt for 10 days leaving on Sunday 28 June & from reading some of the most recent review I don't understand why people have not commented on the major works around one on the main pools which completely took away 1/3 of the swimming pool areas which included the lazy river & the pool bar! We booked independently through Travel Republic who did not inform us of this disruption neither did The Hyatt itself even thought you had my email. It was our 4th stay here so would have expected a notification from you! We also thought the food was not up to it's usual standard in the Cascades restaurant but thought the Thai restaurant excelled as usual. I also thought the rooms looked a little tired now & maybe needed freshening up. We entertained some local Egyptian friends at the hotel on 3 occasions and the staff made them welcome, there was no trouble in them entering the hotel which was lovely. This has been our favourite hotel in all the years we have been coming to Sharm since 2008 but The Hyatt Regency I felt you didn't live up to your reputation this time .
