I found this hotel a very pleasant 3 star, rooms dated but very clean and comfy, pools excellent ,very clean and plenty sun beds. food good quality with plenty of choice, waiters very friendly and helpful. Animation team very good for child and adults alike. Spa again slightly dated, but clean and friendly with sauna, Turkish bath steam room and bubble bath. hairdressers and nails salon. I treated myself to a treatment most days as heather is excellent reflexologist. the attached dive center is excellent, offering free dive in the pool for every one, and diving trips at very good prices. give the pirates diving center a 100 out of 100! if I had to give a negative,,which is hard I would say reception staff could be a little more friendly as they tend to be very business like,, but the rest of the staff make up for this as they are very friendly and fun. the free drinks are plentyfull but basic, beer wine local spirits like vodka brandy or gin. there is lots to do locally, hotel runs free bus to beaches, night life and shops. I would recomend this as a family, romantic or a singles holiday.. a very pleasant 3 star holiday. I would definatly return.

This is a nice clean little hotel.Beds and towels changed daily, and plenty of toilet tissue! Fresh pool towels when you need them, communal areas spotless. Food perfectly acceptable, may not always be to your particular taste, but they try very hard to cater for all. Attia and his team work tirelessly to keep everyone happy with food, bar, table clearing etc, all with a smile.Mahmoud works to keep everyone involved with entertainment.A lounger round the small pool is much more peaceful if you just want to laze/chat/read. Please remember this is an Egyptian 3*, and the price reflects that. If you are expecting 5* with all the trimmings this isn't the place for you. All in all... The whole staff team work as hard as they can to make a holiday clean, safe and enjoyable as possible, and we found it a lovely place to stay while enjoying the lovely sunshine!

I have been home a couple of weeks now and have had plenty of time to reflect on our experience at the Falcon Hills Hotel. Please be mindfull this is a budget Hotel, and for something like £13 a day all inclusive you must be prepared to compromise on quality. The kitchen produce an extensive range of food to cater for a multi cultural clientele, don't expect a european type of menu its very different. I'm not greedy but 1/8th of a small chicken served by the bar b q chef does not constitute a reasonable portion, having said that there is no limit to the dishes available in the self servery The bar staff work hard to please everybody, but it's not easy when you don't have what your customers order, Most days the keg beer ran out so they served local bottled beer in small glasses that were 3/4 full and not chilled, red wine ran out, no tonic for my gin, then the following day no Gin, this was a recurring pattern during our stay. On the plus side the room was light an airy with air con, pool view, shower etc, bed's changed and clean towels. The pool and surrounding areas are constantly cleaned, and its a very pleasant environment. Was it good value for what it cost YES. Would i return No. If you need anything from a pharmacy use the El Ezaby pharmacy in the Ill Mercato complex , its a proper pharmacy there is a Doctor in attendance and you wont get ripped off unlike the one facing Falcon Hills. If you need a supermarket use the METRO supermarket get a taxi 20le and save a fortune everything is priced unlike the local Bassem stores. If you need a safe ATM there's on in the Verginia Hotel 200 mtrs from the falcon hills out the front door turn left and its 200 mtrs on your right. The Italian Restaurant at reef beach is brilliant fillet steak only a le100, dinner for two bottle of Omar Khyam le400 and a beautiful location head waiter Osama top guy. If you want to travel further and get any trips go and see Adam at Sharm Station Tours next to Starbucks in the Ill Mercato complex, he's an honest guy and wont rip you off, much cheaper than your holiday rep.
honestly ... if it wasn't for Mahmoud and stas the entertainment guys this would of been the worst holiday ever !!! Mahmoud is wasted at this hotel he can do much better somewhere else he is a star...
