My husband and I stayed with our 6 year old son from 5th to 19th February. After the hotel being highly recommended by friends we were expecting a great holiday and we weren't disappointed. Family room (4110) was very spacious and cleaned daily by Taha who regularly left our son towel animals on the bed which was a great touch. Food is buffet style but always hot and plentiful. We loved the Asiatique restaurant in the evenings. Yogesh the chef was amazing. All the staff very friendly and helpful. Maddy in the Animation team is a credit to you. He was always around with a smile on his face getting everyone involved. Massages are AMAZING. A huge thanks to Samir & Mona in the Spa. Mohammed who sold them us was great and we had lots of banter with him. We payed £150 for 4 massages each which I found very reasonable (remember you need to barter). Water slides are amazing and they are what we went for (as we stayed at sister hotel last year and our son LOVED them) He is only 6 but is 135cm and is a better swimmer than me, however on the 1st day we were told that although the height restrictions on the slides were 120cm (so our son was more than tall enough) he couldn't go on the slides even will us as he was not 10!!!! I find this ridiculous. If he meets the height restriction and can swim 200 meters what should his age have to do with anything? Put a quite large dampener on our hols to be honest as this is what we came for! This is why I have scored 4 instead of 5 stars. Other than that we loved the hotel and are looking to book for Easter next year when we will hopefully get better weather. Thank you Aqua Blu for an great holiday

We went as a family of 5 for 10 days over the half term, this is the 2nd time we have stayed at aqua blu, we love it here the hotel is lovely, the staff can't do enough to help you the pools and slides are fab! The rooms are cleaned daily, the waiters are all very friendly. The animation team and the kids club are fantastic, my 6 year old daughter spent more time with them than with us! They are friendly and funny and go out their way to make everyone feel special! We will definitely be going back next year! Just want to say a huge thanks to all the animation team for making this a holiday for my daughter to remember!
