We stayed here in April this year and had the best time we are a family of 4 with two children age 7 and 3, the hotel exceeded our expectations for hospitality, cleanliness and most importantly...
I travelled alone with 8 yr old daughter. It was feb. For 2 weeks. And the water in the slides was very cold although the wave pool was warm. We felt very safe and the staff were friendly. As a woman i did feel a tad second class.. they were charming with the children tho. Nice selection of resteraunts and food. We especially enjoyed breakfast and the made in front of you pancakes.. the room was clean and re stocked with water and coffee every day, Do ensure keep door closed at night and spray mosquitos are in abundance. Quad biking in the desert was a great trip. I did book with the annoying local reps walking round the place all day.. same people run the trip but its much cheaper. Pools are well kept and clean and lovely amount of sunbeds and shades.. font bother with the beach its hardly worth calling a beach!! And i was given a 2nd floor room with noisy neighbours, they wouldnt give me a much easier room to have with a young child on the ground floor as i was told i hadnt paid for a family room, even tho in feb they were half empty. Tips cost a small fortune and drinks are limited to local strong spirits which i didnt lime any. But on the whole it was a great place to go with kids and kids entertainment every might was good. Have fun :)
The Staff and facilities are fantastic. Especially Mohammed and Hossam at La Veranda, Ilbrahiem who cleaned our ample room and Medo who organised trips out and really made our holiday more special...
We stayed here in April this year and had the best time we are a family of 4 with two children age 7 and 3, the hotel exceeded our expectations for hospitality, cleanliness and most importantly FUN!!!! we stayed in block 5 fabulous had a ground floor room with bunkbeds and a closed outdoor seating area overlooking a baby pool and large pool. The food was a good standard and plenty of choice even for the fussiest of eaters. The big attraction is the waterpark which is spread out just nice, not too far to walk from one pool/slide to another, not too close that there is overcrowding, easily found a sunlounger anytime of the day. our favourite pools where the ones at the back of the complex which where aimed at our childrens ages, they where quiet had there own bar and toilet block and where close to the club mac (food court). The wave pool was good fun a bit more crowded, but here is where all the water aerobics happen which is good fun for all ages. evening entertainment was poor but there are plenty of places to travel too of an evening out of the complex via a taxi. We liked sitting at the Nevada bar (i think this is the right name) outside the meditteranean restaurant, Ayman and Amr kept us topped up and looked after us well, genuinely nice people. I could go on all night, but all il say is for an all-inclusive hotel this is a top hotel i couldnt see a reason not to enjoy your holiday here, we will be returning next year and cant wait :)
Great resort to stay. Lots of activities to do. Great food options. Good size rooms with balcony. Clean pools. Rafting, boats, wave pool all great. Reception & bar Staff needs to be bit friendly...
The Staff and facilities are fantastic. Especially Mohammed and Hossam at La Veranda, Ilbrahiem who cleaned our ample room and Medo who organised trips out and really made our holiday more special. The food was good, with lots of choice in all of the restaurants and there is always something for everyone. The resort is clean and well kept and there is plenty of areas to either relax by the pool, have fun on the slides or have a drink indoors in the several air conditioned bars. The trips organised by Medo at Red Sea Divers were excellent and a great experience. He is highly recommended. We were collected at the hotel, taken to whichever activity we were doing and returned afterwards. At no time did we feel stressed or worried about the service given. The bars are excellent. La Veranda Bar was near to the pool by our room. Mohammed and Hossam delivered drinks to our sun-lounger, always with a happy attitude and a smile on their face. They really made us feel special and made a good holiday even better. Ilbrahiem cleaned our room to a very high standard every day. He even left us some artistic towel towel designs on the bed. This was not needed, but put a smile on our faces, when we got bak to the room to find a love heart or a swan on the bed! There was entertainment every night, but was aimed more at the younger kids, although the shows were varied and enjoyable, those with teenage kids should be aware of this. The activities available during the day more than compensate for this and there are pool tables and Shisha pipes available as well. Overall, the holiday was fantastic. The facilities and staff were faultless and the All-Inclusive element is well worth the money. All staff work extremely hard to ensure that everyone has exactly the experience they want. I would highly recommend Aqua Blu Resort and will be going again next year. It really was excellent.
Got back this morning from a lovely week at this hotel , had a few problems with the air conditioning but they were rectified immediately. The animation team by the wave pool are amazing and everyone...
