phew, just got back from a Hot Hot Hot holiday. I went with most of my family which was me, mum, my sister melike, my mums friend terena, my nan jane, and my 2 Aunties karrie and tammy. Every place...
Myself, and 2 kids aged 14 and 50 (my husband) spent a week at the Aqua blu in the feb half term. We arrived at the hotel and were taken to reception to book in. Once we had booked in we were pointed in the rough direction of the block where our room was however took a good 20 mins to find ( not good after travelling for 15hrs) we would have appreciated a bit more TLC after such a long journey. Room was very big with a bunk bed for my daughter and a good size double. Our room was in the 4000 range which was nice and away from the noise of the restaurants and evening entertainment however due to it being a Muslim country we were woken by the mosque at 5am everyday calling for prayer. To be honest we soon got used to it and respected that this was part of their culture so couldn't complain. Restaurants were fine but a little bit repetitive after a while however the food we did have was nice. During the day the snack bar by the aqua park did fresh pizza to order, baguettes, sandwiches and pasta which was ideal. Alcoholic drinks have a lot to be desired, would advise getting duty free on your way through if you like a vodka and coke! Plenty of sift drinks for the kids inc milkshake from the sports bar. Coffee bar is fantastic with excellent staff and also do a lovely hot chocolate. AQUA PARK - Wow, it's great fun and ideal on site to keep my husband and daughter entertained all day every day. Plenty of pools and slides for all ages inc little ones. We went to the sister hotel using the shuttle bus to do some snorkelling but realised it was so close we just walked back to the aqua blu. Shuttle bus is ideal if you don't feel confident walking outside the complex. Evening entertainment is lacking a bit and is mainly aimed at the Russians & polish which is a shame. We left after a week wanting to go back next Feb 2016 so would highly recommend for a chilled out week away with kids. Weather was ideal at 27c daily with a little breeze, had the odd bit of cloud but nothing to moan about. After visiting Hurghada May 2014 where me and my husband were very ill along with every other English person we met so we were a little apprehensive about visiting Egypt again but thankfully we weren't ill nor anyone we met had been ill at the Aqua Blu. WELL WORTH A VISIT

Stayed here with my best mate for a week in Feb 2014. Hotel is lovely and clean, rooms lovely, room service food is nice, and cheap! Restaurants were not great, though Egypt is renowned for below par food at hotels! Drinks choices were awful, though the beer was ok! We used the off licence outside and filled our fridge! Very cheap, not bad at all. Aqua park was great! But beware of rude Eastern Europeans pushing and so on. We met 3 lovely girls and spent the holiday having a laugh with them! We had a great few trips into Naama Bay of an evening. Camel Bar is amazing! Pacha and Little Buddha were rubbish, but we ventured out to Space one night and had a right laugh! I tipped a barman £10 on arrival (all local brands were included in £45 entrance), and he looked after us brilliantly! We had one incident with a cleaner asking for money, reported it to reception and house keeping manager came to see us, asked if a photo on his phone was the was the lad in question, called him round and sacked him on the spot! We felt awful! The pub next door to hotel is great, the wifi is brilliant there, it's rubbish in hotel! Cabs are EXTREMELY cheap, bargain! We went to the casino, had mixed fortunes, but enjoyed.

spent 10 days here and the weather was good. Very hot for March. Hotel complex great, food o.k , drink good. Staff excellent, friendly and helpful. Bar chaps at La'veranda are brilliant and service was great. Mo the housekeeper was great and made an assortment of things with our bed linen and towels. Water park great for all ages. Thomson rep really good and the best we have ever had, is name is Paul, helpful and on hand pretty much 24/7. Hotel had pharmacy and a Doctor. Room had free safe, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities.Only down side was the 6 hour flight, bumpy and long and no inflight entertainment. Would go back, maybe to an Adult only hotel though.
