Really good stay. Rooms were well catered for. Food was above average + several restaurants on site to choose from. If you have children (we dont) it seemed the staff really went out of their way to...
Will start by saying thanks Sultan gardens for the last 6 visits, but unfortunately i think it is the end of a era..... our last visit at the start of april for 12 nights was good but....... We expected a prompt pick up from the airport....we had to wait over 20 minutes for someone to arrive. We expected a great check experience.....didn't get it queued in the VIP! area not good enough. we expected a free room upgrade to the next level up...we didn't get it...but did get the view/area we required. We didn't get the expected level of great animation team experience we expected.....though it got better once Moose got back of holiday. One constant was the same, the food was good except the the indian....the head chief challenged my family and I in a very aggressive manner after we did not like the way he over cooked the chicken. Italian very good. Disappointed the adult pool was not open though all indications was it would be. Positives are Kids club very good, Sand art and painting in the amphitheatre are as great as usual as the staff in that area are very good. Sorry Sultan Gardens but i have now been to you 6 times in three years and though i have enjoyed you company you have failed to really treat me like part of the family you claim i am while i am the there.
It's taken me a long time to write this review. And before management say I should have spoken to them whilst there, I really don't think it would've made a difference. I'm not writing this to...
Me and my family have stayed here 6 times, we won't go anywhere else. Staff are so friendly and do so much. Rooms cleaned every day and food is ok not the greatest. The management is outstanding especially basil, he helped us so much. Booked again. People who write negative reviews I honestly cannot see why, I'm fussy and hard to please but this resort ticks all the boxes.
Recently stayed at Sultan Gardens for 10 days and had a great holiday. We originally booked a junior suite but paid to upgrade to a premium room as the junior suite was a bit dated. The premium room...
I have never written a review on this site before but feel that this resort deserves a review. My wife and I stayed in a junior suite overlooking the open air theatre with beautiful views. The first thing I have to say is that the staff at this resort are probably the most friendly people we have had the pleasure of meeting on holiday. There is a genuine air of hospitality running through the resort from the cleaners to management and everywhere in between. Combined with the reliable weather, there seemed to be little else needed for a relaxing and very enjoyable holiday. Whether you are chilling out around the pool or enjoying an evening meal, there is never a shortage of friendly faces eager to top up your drink or ask if there is anything else you need. Wifi is not brilliant in the lobby but if you perservere, you will get a signal but unfortunately not strong enough to Facetime anyone or achieve any consistent downloads. We have stayed here once before and the standard of the food has definately improved and the Italian restaurant is superb. Being selfish, I would like to see more english style food available in the main restaurent bearing in mind the fairly large contingent of English people that stay at the resort. Having said that, an effort is made to provide a wide choice of food but it does end up being very similar meals with slightly different ingredients depending on what theme night it is.The choice of deserts is mouth watering and you will no doubt struggle to return home without putting on a little extra weight.I could not possibly leave a review of the resort without giving a special mention to Ronaldo, "Bad Boy" , "Big Boy" and Lofty in the main buffet. Their humour and genuine desire to make your stay the best it could be were one of the highlights of the holiday. The head of catering, Wessam, was exceptionaly helpful and friendly and would put himself out to make sure that your every need was catered for. There are many more people that deseve a mention but I am sure you would get bored if all I do is mention peoples names. Our suite had been recently painted and was kept extremely clean and tidy by the daily cleaners. The only reason that I could not give this resort a 5 star rating is that some of the fixtures and fitting in the suite were in need of replacement. By no means a major problem that will affect the enjoyment of the holiday but a factor that will need to be attended to over the coming years. The majority of guests at the resort were people that had stayed on a number of previous occasions and I think this sums up the resort. If you are looking for a comfortable resort that offers fantastic service from genuine people who are more than happy to cater for your every need, then this is the place for you. If you want Sophie or Allesondro trying to drag you into belly dancing or water polo around the pool (they are quite happy if you do not want to) or you want to take a short walk to the beach to do some snorkelling, I doubt that you will find anywhere nicer to do it.
We spent another two lovely weeks here in April, our 9th visit and everything went smoothly from our complimentary airport transfer to the VIP check in with Abo Eyed, we were given our favourite room...
Really good stay. Rooms were well catered for. Food was above average + several restaurants on site to choose from. If you have children (we dont) it seemed the staff really went out of their way to cater for them entertainment wise. several pools to choose from and it even has its own amphitheatre. Its the first time i have been to Egypt and i was overally impressed with what the sultan gardens had to offer. Also security was very good and we felt very comfortable.
