The food was appalling, there was no variety at all, nothing for children to eat, nothing gets replaced, once it's gone it's gone, if your not one of the first in the dining room then your lucky to eat, if you ask for more food then you have to wait for as long as 20mins some times. There is no water offered at the table, soft drinks were always flat. The hotel ran out of beer for two whole days. We spent a small fortune keep catching taxi's into town to buy food n drinks so that we knew our children had eaten something. Which when you have paid for all inclusive at your hotel is totally unacceptable When I booked this hotel it was advatised as 4star, it advatised having a diving centre which was closed, gym (closed), spa (closed), two a la carte restaurants (closed) and a zoo which was also closed. And the wifi didn't work. I would be very surprised if this hotel would even qualify as a 2star. My son cut his foot open around the jungle pool one day and the "life guard" walk away from him and went litter picking. We complained to anyone who would listen, including the general manager, nobody was interested and just brushed us off. I found most of the staff rude, not sure if they just didn't understand or just didn't want to. It took us two days of constantly asking to get a safe sorted in our room. There was no water in our room, which there was supposed to be on arrival. This is our third time in sharm, and we love it there, had this been our first time we would not be retuning, it compleatly spoiled our holiday. It's the first holiday we've been on where we've all lost weight. Avoid this hotel at all cost, it was such a waste of money.

"Shockingly" bad. Loose electric wiring in the pools. Broken tiling in swimming pools (numerous cut feet) and broken sun beds. Cockroaches in the rooms. Empty pools. Closed facilities. No gym. No zoo. No dive centre. No spa. 2 bars not 5. 1 restaurant not 4. No air con in public areas, doors propped open so flies around the breakfast, breads, milk, salads in the restaurant. No wifi at all. Very dismissive and grumpy management. No once was any concern taken seriously. Health hazard! Some one is going to get seriously hurt.

Dear Complaints Team, I spoke to your colleague this afternoon about my awful Holiday experience in Egypt and she told me to write to you. Where to start.... Our holiday resort was the Hauza Beach resort in Sharm and we stayed from 10/8 - 17/08 Upon arrival I was made to wait 40 mins in a 40degree unairconditined lobby with a very tired, hot six year old. The staff tried to con more money out of me for the room I booked. After finally arriving at our room we discovered it was full of ants, very very dirty and we also weren't given instructions on how to use the air conditioning unit so had to guess. The food hall was not air-conditioned which made it a really struggle to eat if there was any food left at all. Breakfast was eggs or salad everyday that had been sat in the heat, cereal with warm milk that my daughter refused to eat as it seemed to be goats milk. Lunch and dinner was pretty awful and inedible everyday and was mainly catering for the Russian visitors ie. Cabbage, pickled products and boney fish. We ate in the restaurant twice our whole stay and I promise you we really aren't fussy eaters, again it wasn't air conditioned so was very hard to enjoy our chips. I've spent a total of about £120 on food drink and snacks for my daughter and I over the 7 days just so we wouldn't starve. The pool bar: you had to pay for your drinks even though you were all inclusive. There was another bar about 20 feet away that didn't charge but was constantly running out of drinks so if you wanted warm water you were safe. There were no ice creams for the children until we complained eventually getting some for the pool bar at extra cost to ourselves of course. All snacks were left over from the lunch buffet and left to sit in the 42 degree heat all afternoon surrounded by flies and ants. If you wanted bottled water you had to pay too. The Spa and Zoo were shut the whole trip therefore not leaving a lot to do. The jungle pool was not suitable for younger children as the pools were very deep and dangerous. Kids club was run by a Russian lady that barely spoke English so my daughter and other British kids couldn't understand therefore didn't go which was also not airconditioned. All the animation barely spoke English and again mainly catered for the Russians. There was very poor entertainment throughout our stay and all of it was in Russian or Egyptian. There was no life guard at ANY point anywhere near the pool All 7 days and the pool was falling to bits. In fact the kids were collecting the tiles on the floor as a game. Light fixtures were also comimg out of the wall and one even floated to the top. Pool towels were ripped and stank a lot. My daughter got a stone stuck under the skin on her heel which came from the pool floor, when I asked the owners daughter if there was a firstaid kit so I could get the stone out and sterilize the wound she looks at me like I was speaking alien. I had to dig it out with my nails whilst my daughter screamed and bled all over the pool side. I was then given a plaster by a staff member. I was shouted at my a manager on my 3rd day because myself and another British family were sat chatting near where one of his staff was working and we were "distracting him" even though we were waiting for him to make us something we had paid for and weren't even conversing with him. The place was an utter disaster and a complete building site. We heard from staff that the owner is going through a messy divorce and is trying to deliberately run it into the ground which is awful for all staying there. We spoke to gold members that have been there 7 times and they will not be going back. There was very limited security at the gate and none at the beach nor was there a life guard therefore we didn't go down to the beach a second time. This list could keep going on but I'll stop there. My suggestion is that On the beach take this awful hotel off their list as this is going to keep happening. I would like a full refund as we had an awful experience here and will never be going back to Sharm as a result. Thanks for listening to me waffle on but I'm really unhappy and actually dissapointed we couldn't have a better time for my daughters birthday holiday Trip.
