Firstly - MY GOD RUSSIAN PEOPLE ARE RUDE!!! This wasn't just one or two of them, but nearly every Russian person cut in line, over filled there plates, shouted at staff and acted ignorant when confronted. There was also English guests who had the staff running wild after them by complaining at the slightest and expecting the world! I'm probably going to echo alot of the posts on here. We have just returned from 10 days away 21st July - 01st August. We are a fairly laid back family, and was greeted with a reception being shouted at by a unhappy lady who had arrived 1 hour before us. Not a brilliant start. I will list our pros and cons. However if you don;t read all of this then one thing I would say is book a different hotel.. Hauza is not fit for occupation until alot of work is done to re-modernize. Pros: Waiting Staff, Room cleaners, bar staff and recreation guys were outstanding. Always happy and smiling and interacting with the kids. Beach - This is fantastic, fish happily come up to you and swim around you. Very clean s well. Jetty - Jump off this and there is hundreds more fish to see, and some a fair size as well. Location - 10 mins from airport, 10 from Soho and a macdonalds, kfc, etc down the road.Pharmacy and supermarket opposite. TV - 2 24hour movie channels at no extra cost Beach Pizza - cooked fresh and if not too busy will make you one to your taste. Water slides and pools - Always clean and fun. Plenty of sunbeds Clean towels every day Rooms - Air con is fab and beds are comfortable Cons Reception - Very basic understanding of English which made it hard to put issues across for resolve. Cups served at bar - Take your own Bar running out of beer, coke and sprite Room- Don't look under your bed!!! Ants - We stayed away from the pool bar on a evening as we have multiple bites from sitting down there. Power cuts, water not working and tv channels not working Door Card not working No drinks in reception even though they were serving them to certain guests, again language barrier never allowed us to understand why they would not serve us them. No communication when things went wrong about time for fix, what problem was, etc... Im going to put food separately. Breakfasts had cereal, pancakes (freshly made), bread, pastries, cheeses, salad, etc.. Also a chef who made omelettes, fried eggs of scrambled at your request. He was always happy and smiling. Lunch was weird, with pasta one day, noodles, pretty much looked like the remnants of the previous evenings meals. Evening meals were pretty much the same basic dishes always rice and pasta. They would have a BBQ corner which did these lovely keema naan type breads one night and a tortilla with mince in - delicious. However the BBQ chicken was served pretty raw, blood was actually coming out of one. There was always something to eat, fair enough it may have been the same old rice or pasta but you would be fed. However all 3 of us experienced tummy pains and the runs. Wether this was a result in change of diet or the hygiene standards were not sure. It looked clean enough. All in all a good vacation, however this was because we didn't focus on the negatives. I would deffo recommend Egypt, but pay extra and get a different hotel. Which is a shame as the staff here are fantastic and try to help as much as they can with little to no thanks.

PLEASE, PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF ALL THE TERRIBLE REVIEWS REGARDING THIS HOTEL!. I didn't, and consequently had the worst holiday of my life. I don't have the time or the energy to list all the faults with this place so will just list the main gripes: * We arrived and were told that we had no reservation (which we did, and all the paperwork to prove it) * Had to sit in the dirty, hot (No air conditioning) lobby for nearly 5 HOURS. In this time we were ignored, shouted at, ASKED TO LEAVE. Had to spend a fortune in phone calls to our supplier (SUNMASTER) to rectify situation. * Our room was dirty, hardly any of the light bulbs worked, bed sheets marked and dirty, fridge didn't function properly, safe unusable as had obviously been broken into previously. * On our first night, one of the staff just walked in to our room whilst we were in bed. On another occasion a member of staff walked in to our room with a full family of new arrivals in tow to book them into our room! * The all inclusive package in absolutely worthless. The food is worse than disgusting. Options couldn't be more limited. There is no air conditioning in the restaurant, (not that youd want to eat in there anyway). * A large portion of the resort is like a building site. Big holes in paving, Piles of rubble, discarded rubbish in areas. Awful. * Many of the locals we encountered away from the resort LAUGHED when we told them where we were staying. *No Wi-FI * The electicity and water went off at some point every day. Sometimes for hours. * Complaints of staff stealing guests luggage. (We took our passports, cash and valuables with us every where we went for our entire 10 day stay) * PLEASE DO NOT VISIT THIS HELL HOLE.

My daughter and I spent two weeks from April to may 2015. Rooms. Yes our card didn't work either several times but who cares because the reception staff were accommodating and helpful. Spacious rooms along with: 24 hours movies (no extra cost) - the location was great - room cleaning, everyday!!, along with the great hospitality if experiencing mosquitoes in your room - I have been to some expensive, fabulous hotels and received less in the way of service....... Pool. The jungle pool was out of this world... The main pool was beautiful and cleaned everyday.. Towels laid on your sun bed by Tony - if he heard a sun bed move - he was there in a heartbeat re-positioning it for you...... where would you get this service from a budget hotel??... The beach bar with freshly made pizza from 11am - please don't hassle the cook for 16 slices when others are in the queue, omg some annoying individuals couldn't care less that there were others waiting....... The beach was outstanding - beautiful - warm with an amazing variety of fish - but why oh why do STUPID PEOPLE have to destroy the coral by walking on it, despite the despair of staff. I wanted to personally drown each one i saw. Salah - Excursions manager- Best English speaker (along with Mina the fantastic tattooist), both genuine lovely guys - fabulous cheap cost trips out, all great - Have a tattoo, its well worth it. HOWEVER, Please do not haggle them, they earn a pittance like most Egyptian men working many long hours whilst trying to support their families in Cairo and will not rip you off....... FOOD Breakfast - the hard working egg guy (fried, scrambled or omelette), always smiling - so we loved breakfast - sometimes the waiters would take your plate from you and take it to your table.. I am picky but still found something - there is a variety - the freshly baked bread is spectacular. Yes food is repeated - chips and burgers on the menu would have been amazing - we only got this twice each week and was worth the wait, no air con.... Outside themed nights were fantastic - BUT....... I was shocked by how the hotel address the obvious issues of the waiters carrying an immense amount of plates on one shoulder - (im in the medical profession) - please change the way staff have to carry the plates - manual handling OMG - here in the UK it would not happen - no wonder physical health is an issue - poor guys.........All the hard working staff are poorly paid - please throw a pound or two their way. I was humbled by their excellent hospitality.. Tips 1...Take your own plastic glasses, the staff are happy to accommodate. 2... Stop moaning- you get what you pay for - food and rooms are not 4 or 5 star..... 3... Transport into nama bay - do not pay more than a quid on the bus, don't ask how much? just pay the driver a sit down, don't get in an empty one because you may get hassled.....Taxi - OH my - they will charge a lot if you don't know. 100 Egyptian 2 way trip is a fair offer.. pay on return............. 4.. Take antihistamines - Moz spray - calamine lotion - immodium and ibuprofen- bad tummies are common in any country you visit........ MANAGEMENT Not so good at sorting out problems - although Jackie from guest relations helped and was fantastic in her approach and manner and sorted out all of the problems. Management were not so accommodating... There is an exception though - the RESTAURANT managers were amazing. One immediately comes to mind but his name fails me - glasses - stocky man - he needs a pay-rise, exceptional interpersonal and management skills. I saw one chef eat some freshly cooked beef with his fingers (and without gloves)- although he denied it - the staff went mad and sorted it out immediately.... PLEASE PLEASE re-home the tortoises - horrible to see and no real need to see.............This seemed highly cruel to me and would not be allowed in the UK.............Many Brits I spoke to were unhappy to see this happening..........If you cant re-home them - make their home bigger - its too small - barely enough shade for two - subject to drunken assaults by some undesirable individuals....... And as lovely as the flamingoes are - make sure they have running water everyday..........I would like to see these in their natural habitat also - but my opinion of course........... There were also some fights at times - who the hell do people think they are?? assaulting staff !!!!! - i have never seen this happen in my life when on holiday. There was a large majority of tourists exhibiting poor behaviour and seemed to speak to the staff like rubbish. One woman in the restaurant was pointing, shouting at the waiters in an aggressive disgraceful way (not a lone incident) I seriously wanted to shut her up. I noted several times certain individuals jumping in front of you when queuing, letting doors slam behind them and treating the waiters like something disgusting they have on their shoe........... Shocking behaviour - no matter where you are from, surely manners are taught in the home??? First experience on a holiday for me to encounter so much of this rudeness... Entertainment.. Well the ANT THEATRE (ampitheatre) was indeed subject to a large attendance of ants running up and down - Poor attendance of holidaymakers making it hard for the entertainment team, although they were all fantastic, especially Katie (the best) when the entertainment was brought to the poolside it excelled in attendance - great prizes - free massage - PS: Well worth a trip down to the spa - great treatment... I wouldn't return on the basis that I like to experience different hotels - Don't expect 5 stars - that's all - expect a comfy room - view - Amazing service - 10 star private beach - pool - and a bar which stays open until 0400am. TIPS for the hotel management- change the star grading - people wont expect more for their money - average £300 a week for the hotel is a GOOD deal and would cost us Brits just as much to spend 2 weeks at home............... This is probably why you receive so many bad reviews, because some people pay a lot more than that........
