We were 10 days in this hotel in Hurghada. Let me start to say that the surroundings are beautiful, so are the rooms in the 400 block. It took me almost 4 days to get an upgrade (10 euro a night extra) to a room in this block, the rooms are big and very clean, also a big nice bed, flatscreen and a huge walk in shower. Swimming pools are nice with a lot of big sunbeds. Resort is clean everywhere, lots of bars to get drinks and bottled water. BUT the food... o my...horrible. Breakfast was ok..only apple, grapes and bananas in the fresh fruit section, sometimes a little melon. There was a lot of food, even for lunch and diner but it doesn't look well and taste all the same, although the Russians liked it ;) Thank god next to the resort is Senso Mall with a lot of shops, KFC and a huge supermarket! We bought melon, crackers, nutella, cookies and that stuff there. Conclusion: get an upgrade to a 400 block room and prepare yourself for bad food.

If it is your first time going to Egypt and this Hotel, I would read my review, this hotel is wonderful to look at has stunning decorations and is very big. I did enjoy my stay at Alf Liela Wa Liela but came across a few problems while staying there. If you are worried about the FOOD, I wouldn't be they do have normal food, but it has on the description of the hotel that they have different restaurants, just to point out they have more or less the same food in ever restaurant. There is no difference between them other than one does pizza's. Also be careful with the food as me and my partner had a stomach bug the whole time we were there. (also watch out for the flies as they are everywhere)plus alot of cats on the night time but they where all lovely and don't bother you. The cleaning staff will also take your plate away even when you are still eating. The hotel does themed nights with there food like seafood and another theme involving cows, these where nice as it was all outside next to the water features. The ROOM was nice and cool which you need in Egypt, but if you are wanting privacy especially when you are in the shower, make sure you put a (don't disturb sign) on the door (not like they take much notice ) as the room attendants walk in whenever they want and don't knock, plus are very rude and want a tip all the time. Also don't bother taking anything that needs wifi as the internet is not very good. If you are BRITISH be prepared for being the only British in the whole hotel,as it is mainly for Germans, Dutch and Russia's.All of the staff in hotel will assume you are one of these nationalities and will talk to you in a different language, when you tell them you are English they are shocked and will say wow we don't get many English people here and make a big deal out of it. This is alright the first couple of times but when you have been there for 2 weeks and you have heard it more than 4 times each day, it can get annoying. WARNING most of the bar staff think they are stand up comedians by pretending to give you, your drink and then taking it away, (which is Highly irritating when it is 42 degrees outside) Plus around the pool you wont get much peace due to the people who want you to come to the spa and pay a fortune for treatments, plus you also get someone from the other hotel the jungle aqua park telling you to go in there and pay more money. The hotel has there own trips as well which we were told not to go anywhere near by our English rep, these people will come and bother you too. I must admit that the animation team are really good as they don't bother you loads or force you to get up and do anything. they do alot of pool activities and games and have a good kids club to keep the children entertained. They put good shows on and also take you out to clubs on the night. Also the hotel have two different Theatres one that the animation team are in and the other one that has the big statues which has the same show on EVERY night . The show is good but is boring in some parts the horses are good but be warned the riders are quite abusive with them, which isn't pleasant to watch.Don't be Conned by the people who sell things in the hotel as they are more expensive than the fixed priced shops outside of the hotel. Watch out for the carpet men also as they say they are there for one night only but believe me they aren't they are there all day everyday. Also watch out for what the shop men do as they will invite you for tea or a smoke to gain your trust and get you to buy something. Hurghada is a very safe place and I would recommend going to the beach but it is very rocky, But over all was a really good holiday and a nice change.
In Hurghada, you'll soon discover why the Ancient Egyptians didn't wear polo necks - many things have changed in Egypt in it's 5,000 years plus history, but the gorgeous weather isn't among them! From scorching summer temperatures nearing 40° Celsius to salubrious winters rarely dipping below 20° Celsius, you're guaranteed sun on Hurghada holidays. So if you want to chill by the pool or on the beach, be sure to slap on the sunscreen!
