Left with no words with this holiday experience. Booked to stay from the 25/8 until the 28/8. We changed 4 rooms within 20 hours. First room was next to the hotel's dumpsters and the employees were throwing empty glass bottles from afar. From the room you could see all the hotel's trash and you could smell it!!!The water in the shower instead of running was dripping and it was hard to have a decent shower. After complain we were moved to a pool view on top of the pool wc. We went for dinner and when we came we opened the ac which made a terrible noise and also smelled of mould. At 1:30 am we called the reception and they said they would send the security guy !!!!! We went to the reception and the receptionist made a comment in front of us to the security " these are the ones who changed 2-3 rooms" and I commented on that. The security took us to the 3rd room and we were surprised to hear that after his night shift he would be relocated to the spa to perform massage to guests!!!!! Next morning we went to the previous room to collect staff we forgot and found a message to go to the reception. Instead to leave the message to the new room they left it to the previous one !!!!!! The manager at the reception told us he needs the room for a family as it is an interconnected room!!!! Then he asked us if we were certain we did not want to return to the previous smelly room with the disfunctional ac!!!! We said NO and then he upgraded us to the suite. Had the experience to witness many people complaining at the front desk about dirty rooms. Two stray huge dogs were running one night in the pool area scaring guests and no one from the hotel was there to do something. Unfriendly staff at the restaurants, tables dirty and ashtrays dirty. Room cleaning poor, at the suite we left an empty plastic back with candy wrapping and they left them there. There are no enough sun beds for guests to use and the beach towels are changed every 3 days!!!!!! These are some of a huge list of complaints. I'm a Cypriot and certainly I can say that This is not a place for a tourist to have a relaxing holiday and FOR SURE it is not a SPA Resort!!!!!

Our Family stayed here in June 2015 for a wedding inside the hotel, we all were very impressed with the hotel its staff were amazing, tendering to your every need without any sort of fuss, the food was great, good selection to choose from, we loved the burgers at the pool bar, also a bar right at the sea which is a great idea, 17 € a day for the all inclusive drink wristband was a exceptional deal, very worthwhile if available, lots to do staying within the large hotel grounds, pool games every day and games outside the pool, darts, shuffle board etc, jet ski's banana boat and donut all available at a small price, entertainment was good and varied at night, and yes trousers must be work when having dinner and in the entertainment bar, quite right too, what's wrong with that, I especially loved the spa area inside, having a jacuzzi and sauna every day and jumping into the cold pool worked a treat on the sunburn. Try it, manicure and pedicure was amazing and even had my toes painted for a laugh, thanks Maria you were exceptional !! Great fish pond a avery and a museum on site which are worth a look too. A huge thank you to every single person of staff who made both the wedding and the rest of our holiday one to remember forever !! Especially Marcas at the pool bar, I have never seen anyone work so hard keeping everyone happy with food and cold drinks, you are Amazing, good luck with the Architecture, best of Luck. We will be back 😀 Fleming & Baileys

Really nice hotel for a family holiday. Thomson rep was really informative. However here's some info about rooms and upgrades. 1. Get a sea view or you might be looking at a car park. 2. Don't bother upgrading to a superior room unless you want an iPod dock and colour changing lights above the toilet. Oh. And the TV is 2 inches bigger but still has poor reception. The bed is the same, the furniture is the same and the room is exactly the same size as the normal one. Seriously. Really good hotel. Almost all the staff are great. All inclusive is good, but it's limited to certain food and drink at certain times. (I've been told that seems to be common with all inclusive, but this was the first time I've had it in Europe. In the Caribbean it meant whatever you want, when you want)

My husband and I have just returned from the St George with our daughter and her family, we have been to the St George many many times and we always have a great holiday, helpful staff especially the restaurant manager Andreas, downsides however where very poor evening entertainment both outside and in the lounge bar where a singer would kill a well known song. In addittion it was a race to get a sun bed as people where putting towels out from 6am,Crazy!!
