Many staff members were very rude and not professional at all. We went to have our dinner at the restaurant and told us that we were very late and that was unacceptable from our side (note that it was an open buffet dinner until 22:00 and went there at 20:30) and then they closed the lights at 22:30 while we were still sitting at the table. I will definately not reccomend the hotel to anyone else.

This is a beautiful hotel with lovely rooms and pool and a lovely beach. Moved to this hotel from the Venus beach hotel. Venus beach is a 5 star but does not deserve it avoid it as it's depressing This one is four star but by far outshines Venus beach. Friendly and great facilities in a lovely setting. Smart contemporary rooms with mood lighting in the bathrooms. Comfortable beds and very clean. It is a way out from the centre of town but there is a bus stop. Not a lot else around but we were happy to stay in the hotel. Good food too! Would recommend after staying in 3 different hotels in the area.

We spent a week on half board basis at the Hotel St George in May 2015 and it was a very enjoyable stay. The staff were very pleasant and helpful at all times. Food was tasty and there was always a good choice. We were particularly pleased when we were allowed to trade our evening meal for lunch meaning we could explore further afield in the evenings. Pool facilities were fantastic. There were always free loungers and there was a nice, relaxed atmosphere. Drinks were priced quite cheaply and for around 10-12 euros you could get a taxi to the harbour area where there are plenty of bars and restaurants. We were a bit concerned that we might be a bit out of the way but it is actually ideal as you could easily spend the whole week in the hotel but for a cheap taxi journey can easily get to 'the biz'. Would definitely recommend and would return to the Hotel St George.

Very nice hotel, with excellent staff, pretty good food, clean and modern facilities, in a quiet area. Of the other hotels I’ve stayed in in the Paphos area, I’d rate it on a par with the Almyra. Constantinou Bros Asimina Suites remain my absolute favourite, followed by the Elysium, but then again we are talking of a different class, and price, accommodation. And for those that live locally, do have a look at the Short Escapes program. The price is very good and the inclusion of a free excursion with a guide was a highlight of our weekend.
As expected, the weather in Cyprus is delightful and whenever you decide to fly off on your holidays to Cyprus, you are bound to have lots of sun. Summer months are the best with temperatures around 30° Celsius and over and even in the later months it isn't much lower. There can be some unexpected rainfall occasionally over winter so along with your shorts and bikinis, make sure you pack a light jacket just in case!
