Excellent hotel, good location, staff excellent, buffet restaurant one of the best I have come across for variety and quality of food (especially as no chips except kids section) and serving plates always hot. Room clean and well maintained. So why would I not go back? This really is a problem for the senior hotel management to deal with as they do not follow their own rules / guidelines. 1.The ever present towels on sunbeds routine. The hotel clearly states that towels on beds before 08.30 would be removed. The earliest I looked out during our stay was 05.55. Even at this ridiculous time several beds had towels on them. None were ever removed. On one day we went to the grassy area at about 08.30 and several beds were reserved. When we left the area at 18.45 these beds had not been used at all. 2. Notices and the hotel guide book clearly states that no inflatables or ball games are allowed in the pool so that guests could enjoy leisurely use of the pool. At one point there were no fewer than 17 inflatables and 4 separate ball games in the pool. 3. Dress code. The hotel supposedly has a dress code for dinner of long trousers and collared shirts for gentlemen. Again there are notices outside the dining room and guidance in the hotel handbook to this effect. This was already being blatantly ignored but then on the Saturday this code was "relaxed" because of the very hot weather, which is what we went to Cyprus for, ( I could see no need for this relaxation as the main dining room was always well ventilated and at a very reasonable temperature). This was very disappointing to us and, I am sure, to the other guests who tried to adhere to the code. This relaxation then led to what I can only describe as a fancy dress parade where the aim appeared to be who could wear the scruffiest / most revealing "outfit". And why oh why cannot men tell their partners that just because they managed to squeeze into something does not mean that they actually look good in it. I was even more amazed when, bearing in mind the non conformity already experienced, we were playing a quiet game of card in the music lounge away from the bar and the so called vocalist when a waitress, very politely, told us it was "against the rules" to play cards in the lounge. If management would only take action and actually follow their own rules and codes then I feel that the hotel would most probably become the premiere hotel in the Paphos area and then I would most certainly return and recommend it to as many as possible.

We book this hotel for a friends wedding, I was a little bit dubious when I looked at the hotel pictures but as it was for my friends wedding we booked anyway. This hotel is described with Thompson as a 5* but it is certainly not, more like a 3*. On arrival our suitcases were taken from the bus and simply dumped in reception. We arrived at 9.30 pm and were told we would have to hurray if we wanted something to eat with no provision made for late arrivals. There is a choice of 1 restaurant for each meal with all being of very poor quality and a massive disappointment to the point we have paid for meals and drinks outside the hotel even though we are all inclusive. The restaurant areas are very tired and the staff are also poor and unfriendly. The rooms are ok but certainly not 5* with the bathrooms being dated and better in a travelodge for a fraction of the price. The drinks are horrible and lack choice with the bar service also being very slow and rude staff. This is our third holiday this year and by far the most disappointing, we feel Completely ripped off for the money we have paid and would not recommend anyone to come her unless you won a holiday for free. We visited Sunset pearl in protaris a month a go and it was paradise compared to this hotel. There is also nothing around the hotel and therefore no shops if you would like to buy anything. The gym is very dated and the lifts are not big enough for the number of people who stay in the hotel, Totally dissatisfied and will be writing to Thompson to complain once back in the UK, avoid at all costs!!! 😡

We stayed here for 10 days in July for our 25th Wedding Anniversary, it was very busy as people who were going to Tunisia were redirected. The Hotel is gorgeous and staff very attentive. Breakfast is chaos but you go with the flow, there are some very rude people but not usually English, but they are everywhere I guess. Weather was 35 most days, the bay is shingle n rocky so you will need footwear. Food was excellent and getting about was easy as the bus stop is just up the road, we went into the Harbour and Coral bay, all for 2 euros a day. The harbour is well worth a visit. We went on a dinner & fireworks cruise for our Anniversary and comes highly recommended. My only disappointment was the room, I emailed the Hotel well in advance to ask for a nice view, but they must think a carpark is a nice view.

For people looking for a relaxing holiday with a bit of comfort, then this is the place to go. Please find my views below and hope you find them useful: Rooms - Very nice in a clean white style. We have 5 kids (12 to 20) and had three rooms together, two interconnectiing facing the sea. Small fridge and the shower wasnt very powerful, but the rooms were cleaned every day and the beds very comfortable. The air con is very good, although did make some noise, it was great to get back to the room to cool day and get ready for the evening in a colder climate. Rooms are defo 4+* AI Drinks - The All Inclusive gives you a good range of drinks of food. Most spirits, lager, slush puppy, milkshakes, cocktails etc....no cider or guinness though. Ice Cream's are local, but lots of flavours and the kids made the most of them. AI is not on the beach bar, but you can take drinks from the pool bar to the beach if you wish and its not a long walk. AI Food - Breakfast is a little boring, normal bacon that is a bit too streaky, sausages that are basically hot dogs, beans, all types of eggs, breads etc, but does have HP sauce (lol)...lunch is a buffet, so is Dinner (although in a different restaurant) and to be honest, its nothing special, but there will be something for everyone. Desserts are plenty and very good. I would complain though that there is nothing for people with intorrances. No signs for Gluten/Lactose free or peanut allergies, which in these days is very important. Pool/Beach - Pool could be a little bigger, but the swim up pool bar is good. The Beach is fantastic. Not much sand, but a man made bay with rocks to swim up too, which isnt far. Between the pool and the beach is a garden green area which is ideal to sunbath. You dont get the noise of the pool, but a gentle breeze from the sea and a 30 second walk to either beach or pool. You do need to get to the gardens by 8am to get a good spot, which i recommend rather than the pool, where you need to get down by 6!! Service - In the restaurants, the services is good, although at dinner, they wont fill up your drinks unless you ask. Pool bar was good, although some people smoked at the bar which wasnt on. However the services at the evening around the piano bar and outside was very slow. Waited 10 mins for a drink then had one dropped over me!! Entertainment - This is where it lacks. This is a poor area they need to improve. Bingo, quiz night were ok, but magician and dance act was very very poor. So dont go here if you have young kids and want to be entertained. Others - WIFI was useful, but very very slow and often did not work. Actual hotel setting is very impressive and the main entrance is 5*. But outside is very barren. Talking to a local, most places are closing up due to many hotels now being AI. Took a trip to Paphos which confirmed this. Although we did go to Coral Bay one evening and there were a few bars and restaurants that were good and reasonable. The 615 bus (all air con) is 1.5 euros and takes only 15 mins and worth the trip to Coral Bay. Lots of locals holiday here which is always a good sign. And there were two weddings held on the grounds which shows people like this place. All in all, a great place to relax and unwind. The sunset is amazing over the beach. A good 4* hotel and with improvements with the entertainment, quicker all round waiter service and a little more quality of food, this could push to a 5*.
