Le Meridien Limassol is undoubtedly one of the best resorts on the Island. It offers excellent in house dinning options inc Greek Italian & Japanese, and has excellent facilities, like : A regular pool, adults only pool, Sea Water pool, Thalassotherapy Centre, Gym, Kid's Club, +++Mand is located right on The Beach front in the suburns of Limassol in the direction of Larnaca. The service is exceptional by any standard, and when compared to most Greek or Cypriot resorts it is right up there amongst the best of them. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone, although it should be noted that it will be closed until Mach 2016 while it undergoes a major renovation programme. Great hotel with beautiful rooms and a lovely pool area. Food and drink is great and not overly expensive either - BIG downside is if you want to go into town or anywhere in fact, you will need to get a taxi (which is really hard when you seem to be in the middle of not a lot) so instead we took a lot of buses. Okay if you are used to this, but we were with someone in a wheelchair and these don't really go well together! Other than that, can't really complain! Good resort, but definitely wouldn't go back to the location again!
As you would expect with Cyprus holidays, the weather is superb all year round. For sun worshippers, holidays to Limassol are best in the summer, but bear in mind the beaches will be busy in the peak season so make sure you grab your sunbed early! Temperatures range from the high 20s to over 30s in the summer months, and even in the winter it is not unusual for the temperatures to reach the high 20s.
