Stayed in this hotel for 7 nights in August, agree and disagree with a lot of reviews. As a self caterer, I can not comment on the restaurant at the hotel, however, eating out locally is a reasonable price and Nino's & San Francisco around the back of the hotel are great. As for the sunbed situations,we headed down to the pool around 10:30am one morning and got sunbeds straight away, on a separate occasion we returned to the hotel having ventured out around 3:30pm and also found we could get sunbeds straight away, perhaps we were lucky or just not fussy as to where we sat. Staff at the hotel are rather rude, no one seems to know what they're doing or even care. One downfall was how rude the cleaners were and being rushed out of our room by a cleaner one morning wasn't ideal. The hotel isn't the best, but you get what you pay for, we were out of the hotel 6 out of 7 days so we didn't particularly have any problems. Overall, I'd say if you're looking for an all inclusive holiday sat around the pool all week, you're likely to be disappointed. If, like myself, you get out and about on holiday, then the hotel shouldn't be a problem. Wouldn't go back though, its way too busy and too many annoying teenagers that make me sick. The Thomson rep Lydia is also bloody good..

You've read the rest, now a truthful review of the hotel.... Arrived about 10 at night, myself, wife, 3 kids aged 7,11 and 12 and mother and father in law....reception were excellent.. Weren't happy with room so they changed us 36 hours later as the hotel was full. First impression was very basic rooms but that was expected with the price we paid..... Food was decent, especially the breakfast, good full English.. Outside BBQ was excellent.. All inclusive drinks were spot on, good idea only serving 2 per person as the que went down quickly.. Staff were good considering how busy the hotel was. Pools were a good size and clean, we only spent our time round the heated pool which the kids loved... Few old moaners about moaning about kids splashing them but they soon got told... If you don't wanna get splashed don't sit next too the pool !!!!! Lifeguards were sometime strict but too be fair, that's there job.. Sunbeds...... This was the only drawback for me, though not so bad around the pool we sat at.. I was usually up and down for about 7:30, got a good spot and had a bit of craic with other holidaymakers whilst waiting for the beds too be unlocked... The other pool was a lot different though. I woke at 4:40 one morning and people were out reserving beds then !!!!! We also saw a few scraps for Sunbeds from our room at the other pool !!!! The Entertainment team tried hard but some of them barely spoke Much English.. Entertainment round the pool was decent... Didn't see the entertainment on a night as the Room was far too hot which was disappointing as there was an outdoor stage for the entertainment which was not used once during our stay. The resort itself was small and hilly which spoilt things for me as I like a look about.... Plenty too book up for, Watersports, Water Parks that were not too far away... The trip out too see the Whales out at sea was a brilliant few hours out.... Would recommend this hotel for families on an average budget but was busy as expected being the 6 weeks holiday.. We still enjoyed our stay though.
Not much to say really as we went self catering so never tried the food or drink. We emailed them prior to our arrival asking for a higher room and they duly obliged with room 501 which has a view of...
Not much to say really as we went self catering so never tried the food or drink. We emailed them prior to our arrival asking for a higher room and they duly obliged with room 501 which has a view of the pool on one side and a view of La Gomera Island on the other - excellent!! The only real let down was the appalling weather we had for a full week which for our first visit to the canaries don't inspire us to ever go back, but that's hardly the hotels fault

This morning my family and I returned from an horrendous 7 night stay at this hotel. We are not posh by any stretch of the imagination and never make complaints but we feel it appropriate to warn anybody considering this hotel. Wow, where do I start! Firstly, the staff are incredibly rude and obnoxious. I have never experienced such a discourteous attitude in any hotel I have ever stayed in. There is a constant, putrid stench of human excrement across the entire complex, this is probably contributed by the fact that the toilets are only capable of flushing once every 5 hours or so. There was vomit covering 2 stairwells that remained there for over 12 hours despite making several complaints. The responses of the staff were once again rude and unhelpful. The queuing system for the drinks is an absolute joke. There is a constant queue of around 15 people at the pool bar and the hotel policy states only 2 drinks per person. The rooms are infested with cockroaches and ants and there is no aircon available. Meal times are utter chaos with pushing guests crowding outside the restaurant doors although if the restaurant opened on time instead of 20 minutes later then this could be avoided. The food is barely edible and the staff are once again, incredibly rude! Now for the sunbed situation! I am of the approach whereby I would never get up early in order to secure a sunbed however, I rapidly realised that if you had any hope of sitting by the pool then you were left with no choice but to actually join the rest of the guests for the morning stampede. This is no exaggeration, the guests would be out there at 06:00 in the morning, waiting in the dark to identify a spot and would proceed to remain there until the sunbeds were unlocked at 08:45. If you have got small children and was planning a day by the pool then this what you were reduced to otherwise you would literally have nowhere to sit all day. There were fights and arguments breaking out left right and centre, it was diabolical. On the last day we asked if we could extend our room check out to 4pm. This was granted although it had to be in an alternative room on the 5th floor situated at the other side of the complex. We dragged all 9 suitcases across the complex to the elevator only to discover, it wasn't working. Once again, we complained to reception and requested assistance with our luggage. We were advised that there was no help available and we would have to wait until the fault had been fixed. In summary, this is a very badly managed hotel and we are furious with the entire experience it offers. Avoid with all costs.
