I stayed here in November 2013, check in was a breeze, our room wasn't ready but we left our luggage in a room and went to grab a drink at the bar (bit pricey but nice cocktails!) then went up to our room. Few stairs so wouldn't suit anyone with mobility problems, so I'm assuming you have to tell the hotel if you do so they give you ground floor or easy access rooms because the complex has a lot of stairs. I went with 1 other person and had a spacious apartment with 2 beds and balcony which overlooked the back of next doors hotel (Hotel Gala - we sneakily got their wifi!), bit loud in the mornings because of all the recycling, but as 2 23 year olds.... we ended up going back to sleep! Beds were comfy though, sheets changed twice in our 7 night stay. New towels everyday. We had a tv but didn't use it, there was good wardrobe space, cooking utensils, fridge, perfect for us :) Perfect location for girly/lad holidays because the strip is well... walk to the right of the exit a couple of seconds and it's THERE! So no money spent on taxis :) mainly ate at The Wigan opposite, very friendly and decent cuppa! Only spent 1 day by the pool but fills up quite quick so need to be an early riser! Unlike me on holiday! I'd definitely come back here when I come to Tenerife whilst I'm still in my 20's as the location is awesome and decently priced rooms :)

Myself and then girlfriend (now wife) stayed here in 2003 as our first holiday and absolutely loved it. Perfect holiday for late teens/early twenty somethings looking for no frills fun. If you want luxury you get what you pay for and this resort of-course is not for you. Nightlife it turned out was right on the doorstep in Veronica's strip and made it the best possible location we could have hoped to have. This is no couples retreat, more the then First Choice version of Club 18-30s. We stayed here half-board and the food was fine, very nice starters (introduced us to a gorgeous onion soup). Will always have the fondest memories of this place. The only downer I could put on it was our surprise at their being no air-con but we coped. Highly recommended venue for any youngsters looking for a good value first holiday abroad.

Honestly this is my honest review.. Arrival... Not shown to our room just told go left right round the bend u will find it... It's at the top of a hill with shops and pubs around that's a good point but it's Next door to a hostel/apartment blocks where all the local lucky men live so U are constantly bombarded with either prostitues propositioning your partners or lucky men trying to sell you glasses or weed!!! Or Charlie :-/???! Room.... Well shower was a joke honestly water trickled out!!! No towels what so ever.... Asked for sum and was brought 2 tea towels!!!! Beds was 2 single we had to push together.. Cooking facilities are rhubarb!!! No cutlery or anything....! Best thing was we could sit out on the garden bit and catch sun in private Pool.... Omg it's like a bath tub pictures deceiving it's tiny!!! Bar.... Expensive watered down drinks!!! Food.... We stayed once for breakfast was like summat out of I'm a celebrity get me out of ere!!! When we asked for money back we was told they do not refund on food that's been ate !! :-/// but how you suppose to know if it's horrid or not?! So we went across the road It's about a ten minute walk to the beach... Black stone it should be called we never Sat on the so called beach as it was black soot to be honest.... One night we went to a local night club on return we found 2 lucky men near our room when they heard us come they ran throu the back gate this really scared me and I instantly felt unsafe... On your day of departure if u go here make sure your flight is booked early they get you out for 10!!! And will not keep your luggage so u have to lug it around with u every where this hotel spoiled my holiday I expect sum lucky men pestering but living next door to them on your holiday is a complete joke by day 2 I was becoming angry constantly harassed I would not take children ere as it is not child friendly if your on a stag night or hen it's ok I suppose but not for relaxation holiday I would say avoid!!!

On arrival the greeting was far from polite. No tv radio or kettle at start but got tv after 1 day & kettle after 4 days!! As we were self catering I expected the items in the kitchen to meet our needs - no oven, no microwave, no toaster, no bottle opener, no cutting board, broken fridge/freezer, 3 pans, 3 of each cutlery & crockery but no bigger bowls top but our salad into. There were 3 of us in the room but only 2 dining chairs. My bed was a foldaway which was very low and uncomfortable. The room was disgusting with serious mould in the bathroom, sockets that were hanging off the wall and dangerous. All communal areas were filthy, a spillage was seen for 6 days before they attempted to clean it, but not fully. Paint & plaster falling off walls. Bedding wasn't changed for 8 days as they had no clean laundry for us. Very noisy, doors banging and with the night receptionist not letting a group of lads into their room at 12 am the noise from them caused me to go down and complain, along with several others. The night person was very rude and said that the English should not be there (I'm sure that my stay paid his wages). Wi-fi 31€ a week! One particular receptionist was very pleasant & interacted well with everybody. Local night life was good and the bars close by were excellent. I could go on much more about how awful it was. Not a good place to stay. 1* is too much for this one & when I asked for my rep details they didn't have them. Poor service all round :(
There's little rain here except for the odd shower in winter, and it's permanently humid: 17° Celsius on average at New Year compared with temperatures in the late 20s° Celsius by the summer apex. The water temperature is also constantly warm, and fresh Atlantic breezes stave off any oppressive heat.
As UK, Courses or boosters sometimes advised: hepatitis A (not normally for package tourists).
