I have just returned from a week's stay in this hotel (23-30 August 2015). I have also stayed for one week in another 4* hotel in Las Americas H10 Conquistador (2-9 August 2015) booked through the same tour operator Jet2holidays so I am basing my review on comparing two 4* hotels within one mile of each other. I stayed in the Paradise Hotel with my 15 year son. First impressions when we arrived was a large group of holiday makers barged down the steps so they could check in first no consideration for other people. ....... Is this the type of people I will be mixing with for a week?? check in was extremely slow. After check in we were directed to our room 121 first floor next to the shop, first impressions when we entered was clean and tidy but no air conditioning. I opened patio door and stepped on balcony to find I was on same level as the first floor bar. No privacy whatsoever. We decided to get some sleep after a long day of travelling, this was impossible as the room was next door to bar. I went to reception and asked them to change our room he said the bar closes at 12.30 am so should be quieter in an hour!!!!! I insisted we wanted moving we returned the following morning and was told we could move to the third floor, why didn't they allocate that room to me when we arrived?? The main pool area is really busy with lots of young children and very noisy. I was travelling with my 15 year son and luckily we were informed by Reception we could use the adult natural pool which was perfect no complaints. Bad points that should be stressed about this, apparently 4* hotel (bearing in mind I spent a week in h10 conquistador in Las Americas which is also a 4* hotel) Food is bland, cold, limited choice. Really noisy canteen style restaurant and why on earth do men need to wear long trousers surely a man looks smarter in a pair of dress shorts rather than walking around in a pair of joggers he travelled in??? After trying the food for third evening we decided enough is enough we ate out in local restaurants for the rest of the holiday which is terrible when I paid for all inclusive holiday. I have never had to eat out on previous all inclusive holidays. Jet2holidays should compare food in their hotels! Snack bar near main pool is disgusting flies all over the food. Nothing covered a health hazard certainly not 4* standards! Reception desks looks like check in desks at airport, male staff more friendly than females. The hotel entrance doesn't have the wow factor when you first enter it. It looks more like a shopping centre! Bar area busy no relaxing chairs to sit on and relax just wooden table and chairs. We didn't use the ground floor bar it was full of kids, so sat in first floor bar entertainment was dreadful singers it felt like a working men's club certainly not 4* quality. No quiet bar to sit and have a relaxing drink you have to get a drink and walk upstairs to sofa areas why not put a bar in sofa areas for adult only use?? Check out shower room is disgusting a hotel room which is near reception area where work was being done on the room so small only could enter the bathroom my son had to wait outside would be a struggle if you had a larger group in your family. Overall this is certainly not 4* star quality hotel. People who come to this hotel year and year need to try a different hotel to compare. I certainly won't becoming back ....... Jet2 holidays down grade this hotel please!!

Don't go on stars they mean no think in Spain they must rate this hotel against britannia hotel airport manchester say no more. Food is not very good at all read all reviews warning me of this wish I listen don't go alinclusive the catering is very below standard lot of choice but repeats it's self every day if you like pork and tuna you will be ok and I think they just invented the onion ring because there on every night. The pools are a joke just like everyone says? first night was a disaster the rooms arnt very clean we kept cloths in the suit cases and the block of apartments are very noisy we were up till 430 with neibours and bar next to hotel. If you flush the toilet the whole hotel no about it the drinks are poor quality am not a big drinker but the amstel pump it isn't it's a cheaper brand because I saw the beer keg and didn't have a amstel cap on it had different brand coming out of the the pump trading standards in Spain no ?.The entertainment was at a poor standard had same singinger in bar twice she can't sing and people were fed up the magician was great only good part of the stay so well done and hats of to him well done. If you are thinking of going here everyone has different opinions but you save up for a whole year to be disappointed you were warned just like we were.

First time at this hotel and had a brill time. Still can't get over people queuing to put towels out on sun beds even over an hour before pool due to open! We used the leisure club pool mostly and there was always plenty of spare beds there. Food was good, always plenty to choose from, guaranteed there was something we liked. Room we had was a decent size. Everyone friendly. Entertainment was ok but bar area it was in was a bit crowded, if you wanted a more relaxed night bar on first floor was a bit nicer with just singer/group playing, not quite as noisy. Handy for bars and restaurants if you want to eat out. 10-15 min walk down to coast. Would definitely visit again.
