It pains me to write this review as it was my 3rd visit to paradise park and I very much enjoyed our previous two visits. Unfortunately on this occasion, this was not the case. After checking in at reception I was absolutely horrified to be taken to an awful room under ground (room 558) that bore no resemblance to the booking I had made 12 months ago. I was travelling with my two you g children. I immediately returned to reception to tell them that this was not the room I had booked and that I was not prepared to stay there. Only then did they Inform me that the hotel was fully booked and I had no alternative to stay in room 558. There was another lady at reception at the time also complaining that the room she had booked months ago was not available. I made a fuss, I booked 12 months ago. They offered no explaination and I was simply told that I could always just take my two young children and find myself another hotel. What an absolute disgrace. We stayed in the room, it was Infested with flies, dirty water came out of the taps and it stunk. View was of a stairwell and a metal gate. It bore no resemblance to the classic family room I had booked. We were moved after one night, but it ruined our holiday. The room was not fit to be let out, was a massive health and safety risk and my children became ill a few days later. From speaking to other guests and from reviews on here it would seem that it is hotel, policy to over book, rather than a one off mistake. As such I would be very reluctant to make another booking as I can not risk this happening again. This is sad because we have always enjoyed every other aspect of the hotel.

Stayed during February half term. Love Tenerife this time of year mainly due to the weather and we were lucky as 6 out of 7 days the weather was really warm. The hotel is a standard four star with everything you would expect for families. The restaurant was buffet and the food was of really good standard with lots of selection and well stocked. The only issue was small children being allowed to help themselves unsupervised, touching food then not taking it. Left feedback to the hotel that this needs to be managed better. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment rather than the main hotel itself but this was of good standard and was very spacious. The main pool was heated but extremely busy but there was another pool area at the rear of the hotel that had secure access and was much more peaceful with the same bar area and snacks on offer. The entertainment in the evening was good and varied and for small children the mini club entertainer was fantastic. In fact all of the staff were really lovely and went out of their way to be friendly, helpful and entertaining. We used the spa on one afternoon. The treatments are of good value although the spa area is a little dates and could do with a re-furb. Despite the hotel being at the top of a hill 10 minutes away from the beach the hotel run a free bus every half an hour which runs a very reliable service.

my wife and I spent 14 nights there recently (31st jan to 14th feb 2015)We really enjoyed our stay.We were half board and the choice and quality of the food breakfast and evening meals were excellent.all the hotel staff were pleasant and very helpful. The majority of guests at this time of year were senior citizens, but I am sure it is a very attractive hotel in the summer months for families, entertainment in the hotel every night, and within easy reach of lots of bars and eating places if you require a change.the hotel is a 15 minute walk down to the beach but their is a minibus every half hour to take you down to the front or bring you back to the hotel.my wife and I will certainly return to this hotel. It is closed from sometime in March until May this year for refurbishment. So it will be even better when we return.

Los Cristianos holidays mean basking in the famed Tenerife sun - summer temperatures can reach as high 30° Celsius, with averages of around 17° Celsius by December. Bring your sunscreen! There's a negligible amount of rain, just the odd scattered shower, so if you want to get wet, it's the pool or the Atlantic you'll have to visit!
As UK, Courses or boosters sometimes advised: hepatitis A (not normally for package tourists).
