Booked a year ago and went April 2015. What a mistake - no-one either hotel or agent bothered to tell us that there would be work going on the last week of our stay and that the hotel would be closing for 2 months. The dining room was moved into the bar area, the whole of the 3rd floor was closed with work/banging going on, the large pool was closed, the bar on the roof was closed, the carpets on our floor were pulled up and the rest was taped up, apart from a letter to say about the move of the dining area no-one advised of anything else. Went to have spa treatments on our last day - was closed. This was appalling for a large hotel to act when people like us have saved up all year to have 12 days of bliss only to have the last week ruined. There were so many people taking photos to complain when they got back home. This holiday was not cheap, we expected to be treated better than this - All the good points about the hotel were marred by the 2nd week of disruption. At least if we had have been told we could have either changed the date of our holiday or would have at least been warned. Will not be going back and will never book again through Thompson.

We were back again for our annual visit for my wife’s birthday. This time we had a room in the main hotel block, with a mountain view. We had stayed in a similar room before and on that occasion noted that one of the wardrobe doors did not open properly as there was too big for the gap between it and the bedside unit. However in this room the wardrobe had off-set doors so the doors opened fully. The TV had a good selection of English language channels and of course, with digital TV foreign language channels can be translated into English if that was the original language. The bathroom had all the usual complimentary stuff. The shower was one of those with high and low shower heads. However there were easy to follow instructions in the unit. All the other things were as good as previous visits. The food was excellent. The staff friendly and helpful. Check-in & check – out relatively quick and easy. The only disappointment was that Pedro, the entertainments main man, had left. Iban, however, has filled his shoes and there was a new young girl on the entertainments team to replace the other woman. Whilst there we learnt that the hotel is closing for three months for works. It will be interesting to see what improvements have been made when it re-opens.

We arrived in the paradise Park hotel to a warm friendly greeting and that was the way it stayed throughout our wk stay. The staff could not do enough so helpful. The hotel was clean as was our apartment. We wer all inclusive a must if staying at this hotel as from chatting to other guests who weren't things were pricy. Food was delicious something for everyone. We have 4 kids with an intolerance to cows milk I pre-arranged goats milk on our arrival and it was no problem to the staff. The only thing that put a dampener was the weather it wasn't its usual but stayed dry. Highly recommended hotel in Los cristianos.
