We have been very fortunate to stay in the house on the top floor several times at the club. Gorgeous location right next to the sea. Staff are friendly and welcoming, especially as we arrived...
We have stayed at the Hotel Europa on several different trips. Once while motorcycle touring, three times while skiing and twice In the fall while touring. The rooms are very acceptable, nothing special but they have everything you need. The service is good, but get the sense they prefer to service Italians. Food is very good and the food service is better than the hotel service. We like the hotel and continue to return. Not sure if we are creature of habit of just like the location?
We are just back from Pearl Grey , Staff were very friendly must say and food was ok not a large menu must say . Rooms were just ok and our daily or not so daily tidy up was poor in room . Had to go...
We had there one night on our way from the Italian Dolomites to Venice . The room and the lobby needs makeover ,the service was kindly and welcome. The breakfast was a minimal one, not many options to choose from, but we didn't left hungry. Good value for money.
Over the last twenty years, there have been some improvements - Tapas deck, new Astraturf on bowling green and quality of pool. But also some changes for the worse - balls being kicked around...
My late September/ early October trip to Cortina to explore the Dolomites and Ferratas would not have been complete without a clean, comfortable, welcoming place to end each day and I found that and more at Hotel Europa. Even without the snowy drifts I imagine frost this Swiss chalet style hotel in the winter there was irreplaceable charm that made this feel so far from a generic hotel. I stayed in a double deluxe room with plenty of space to spread out, large pine storage closets and an entry hall separating the main bedroom that made it feel more like home. The bathroom had a jacuzzi tub which was heavenly at the end of a long day climbing and the view from the 2nd floor SW facing balcony offered the church steeple of Cortina glowing against the stark peaks of the dolomites. The staff was friendly and responsive, even kindly preparing a list of gluten free restaurants in the area to recommend upon my arrival after noting my boyfriend had an allergy. My room was cleaned promptly each day and all necessities provided. I read other reviews that suggested the beds / pillows were less than comfortable but found them to be suitable. An extra set of pillows and blankets were supplied in the cupboard if needed. The breakfast spread was full and offered coffee/cappuccinos served to order as well as pastries, toast, yogurts, cereals, fruits, eggs, and sliced meats/cheese though some hot items would have been a welcome addition. If there were one area in which this hotel could improve it would be providing better wifi access as what I experienced was very slow and unreliable. However that one fact does not taint my overall impression and my departure from Cortina was made more difficult by how hospitable Hotel Europa Cortina had been. Look forward to returning one day soon!
Amazing hotel. Very much my style, modern and comfortable. A very homely feel, the staff treat you like they have always known you. Amazing food. Entertainment top notch, although very English. Rooms...
We did not stay here, but went for dinner on the recommendation of our hotel which does not have a dinning room. The meal was excellent, service was efficient and friendly. With a large group (16) they were still able to provide individualized service. Everyone enjoyed their meal.
Costa Adeje holiday mean sun, and lots of it! The temperature here doesn't vary too much, with winter lows circa 15 to 20° Celsius, and summer highs nearing 30° Celsius. There's not much rain either, so if you want to get wet, dive into the pool or the warm Atlantic waters!
As UK, Courses or boosters sometimes advised: hepatitis A (not normally for package tourists).
