Our apartment was a self catering studio on the ground floor, with a garden view; the garden was planted with hibiscus and bourganvillea. Lovely and private, and generally peaceful on the terrace. We spotted huge butterflies and teeny weeny lizards whilst we were there. It was a joy to spend time at the apartment. The location of Los Geranious itself is pretty good, literally everything is on your doorstep. There really isn't a need for a hire car. The communal areas are a bit tired, and have a definite whiff of Fawlty Towers about them. The place is covered in A4 notices, detailing how to place your rubbish in the bins correctly, how to complain to the right person, etc, which lend an air of 'campsite' rather than 'holiday complex'! The pool area is lovely, but as previous reviewers have suggested, the sun loungers cause a few issues! It is a shame that the complex management don't try to manage that a bit better. Ultimately, I guess the pool area is just not big enough for the size of the complex. If you are someone who wants to sit and relax around the pool all day, this is not the place to head for. Not unless you also enjoy getting up at the crack of dawn to commence 'The Battle of the Loungers'. The pool bar has great staff, and is very reasonably priced too. It is also ideally situated to watch the Lounger Battles take place. The staff at the pool bar are the best bit about the whole place; super friendly and so very helpful. The marina is a short walk away, and of course so is the beach! The beach is clean, and has imported sand, so it is not volcanic black!! There are plenty of restaurants and bars along the sea front, and numerous bars and restaurants all around the resort. Most of them are all pretty much the same; low-end places, with menus with pictures on. If you want an authentic Tenerife experience, this is not the place for it.

Booked apartment A408 through Alan Dow and really had a wonderful time at this complex. The apartment was above the busy Temple Bar/Irish Fiddler and may not suit everyone as the noise did go on till 1am however this never stopped our kids from sleeping and we were on the balcony playing cards usually till after 1am so no real issue for us. The balcony faces the pool and sea, great views and we were told by Alan our balcony was child friendly. True to his word it was as it was basically a roof terrace on the other side of the railing so no major drop to worry about with the kids. The apartment itself was clean and had everything you needed. I would say it's a little dated and could do with a wee lick of paint but other than that spot on. Speaking to some of the residents there they told me Alan was doing up his apartments so it's most probably in the pipeline. Dealing with Alan was so easy and simple and I will not hesitate to contact him again for an apartment here. The reception is not always staffed. Most apartments are privately owned so the front door is always locked and you have your key to enter the complex. If the ladies were on reception once they got to know you they would buzz you in. Nice sense of security especially when travelling with young kids. Not much for kids to do here but with all the excursions and water parks etc my kids were never bored and loved getting back to the pool and pool bar for a dip and a slush puppie. The pool atmosphere was so relaxed and friendly. The pool bar is awesome with great pool snacks and beverages all at very good prices. 1.25 euro for large beer and 2.50 euro for spirit and mixer to give you an idea. The food was also well priced and my wife and her aunt had steak there one evening and they said it was great too. A big hello and thank you to Trish and Monia (not sure of spelling) who worked at the pool bar. So friendly with my kids and if you needed any info all you had to do was ask. The pool bar is a credit to the complex so well done to Ana and Derek who manage it also. Location wise is spot on too. 10 min stroll to Playa Pinta beach and right across the road from the shopping centre with small shops, bars, and large supermarket all found over there. You are a 2 min walk from Harleys American diner which serves good food and great cocktails. We have been here before and loved how close the apartments were to it. All in all I would have no hesitation in returning here and defo through Alan Dow. The easiest arranged and best relaxed holiday I have had to date. Thanks Alan and the pool bar team at Los Geranios for what turned out to be a great 2 weeks back on Tenerife!!!

Positioned in a perfect location within Costa Adeje, you are only a 5 minute walk from a supermarket and 10 minutes from the beach. The apartments themselves give enough living room for the intended number of occupants. The bar on the poolside serves very reasonably prices food to a good quality and the same can be said for the beverages served there too. We asked if we could have chips to take back to our apartment a few times during our stay and the staff were more than happy to wrap them up in a small disposable bowl. All of the staff and cleaners are very friendly, as are the staff on reception. Would like to see the WiFi infrastructure upgraded. You are limited to one login per apartment and the connection is not only temperamental but very slow too. Due to being in a ground floor apartment, I would loose connection when going into the bedroom. Overall, a very pleasant stay and I look forward to visiting again soon.
