I visited the hotel 3weeks ago with my husband and 19month old son 3weeks ago, for 4 nights. This has to be one of the best hotels I have stayed at. We had an all inclusive first of all the hotel in itself is amazing, beautiful and very well kept, the staff were polite and courteous. I have an allergy to milk and told the young man in the lobby bar that I require soya milk, he made sure that it was ordered in until the end of my stay so that I could have my daily latte hit. In our room a cot was provided which was very spacious and comfortable, the balcony was very child friendly too. I have to give high compliments to all the chefs at the hotel, the food was delicious especially at Poisedon restaurant. The buffet had a lot to offer, plenty of meats, fish, fruits and cheese... Oh and baby food! The waiters were very efficient, I absolutely have to give praise to the maître Vargas who would pick my son up and go for a walk in the mornings around the buffet area, all. The staff were great with my son who absolutely loves attention. Also Antonia Cubas remembered I had a milk intolerance from the day before when I had queried the dessert. The next day he brought me a dessert without me ordering and informed me they especially made the dairy free sorbet for me. Thank you to both these gentlemen the for making their service so personal. There is a really nice kiddies play area and pool area which was near our room which was in the 'Daphne' section. My son loved playing here. Outside the hotel is a lovely designer shopping area. Also a beautiful walk around and up the hill where there are other Hotels and eateries, very scenic. The spa is heaven, 3 different types of dipping pools, a steam and sauna with jacuzzi jets in the pool. My husband and I both had massages.. WOW... For the first 2 days the woman at the reception desk was very helpful. My only fault with this would be the lady who was on reception the remaining 2 days, I found her a little cold, unhelpful and unbothered. Also if the spa is open from 10am. The spa should be ready for customers to use at that time, I had to wait 20 minutes for the steam to be turned on and I had to refill the water myself for the sauna coals. Aside from this it was a lovely trip and would highly recommend it.

Returned (yesterday) from a week long family holiday with wife and two girls (aged 4 years and 9 months), overall we found this to be a very good hotel. However, there are a few minor grumbles and one or two disappointing elements on the basis of the hotels 5* status. Firstly the good stuff......... The hotel is a short hop in a taxi (approximately 20 minutes and 25 Euro) and excellently situated. Its location is away from the less desirable part of the resort with the immediate outside streets being very clean. The nearby modern shopping centre consists of high end retailers but also a well stocked supermarket and chemist (100 metres). The hotel has a superb entrance foyer which is grand in scale and appearance, the main doors leading from the foyer into the main part of the hotel rooms/restaurants etc are only accessible by your room card which is a good security feature. The hotel is very large with accommodation set out in various blocks and although at first quite intimidating in locating the main restaurant, kids club, pool etc, we soon found after the first day or so, we were able to navigate around the hotel with ease and found the layout to be exceptionally well thought out for the accessing its various amenities. The main dining hall matched the entrance foyer in terms of it grandest, we found the eating experience as a whole to be very calm in a relaxed environment, perhaps one of the major perks of holidaying pre summer holidays. The hotel benefited from entertaining a large cross section of nationalities with no one particular nation dominating, everybody we met were pleasant and people would smile as we passed in corridors etc. Kids club excellent, evening entertainment good and overall cleanliness of the hotel was exceptional. Lots of positives overall, In terms of ‘room for improvement’........... We were on the half board package and therefore dined in the main restaurant for breakfast and dinner. The food on offer wasn’t up to the standard to that of many 5* hotels I have stayed in which was the main disappointment. The variety offered during the course of the week did not change as much as I would have hoped in particular the salad cart which effectively offered the same fare every evening. I suspect if you enjoy your junk food you wouldn’t agree with my assessment, but if you eat well the stuff ending up on your plate every evening gets a bit familiar. Room for improvement in terms of quality and variety in the catering department. Value for money - We would have saved a load of money with 1 toddler and an infant had we booked a hotel offering triple room and a cot. We paid for an additional room (connected) which was only used by my 4 year old. So if you are booking with 2 kids and one is still under 2 look elsewhere for better value. The gym shown on website pictures is only free if you are ‘all-inclusive’, I had to pay 10 euro a time which was frustrating and not clear to me before we booked from information provided........ Other minor issues – Plugs located terribly in room, very difficult to find and use. Ants in room, rubbish ironing board. To summarise, very good hotel although a number of ‘tweaks’ required. Would consider return, however catering and value for money on basis of no availability of a triple room would be a concern for me personally. Lastly, if you are looking for a fine fish restaurant turn right once leaving the beach exit gate, passed the giant watermelon stand and continue along coast for half a mile until you find 'la Torre Del Mirador', superb food with stunning hilltop views over the sea.

This hotel is great from the onset. The reception area is beautiful when you first arrive. Location is first class, located right on the sea front where you can go for lovely walks in the evening. Really like the key security so you cannot enter the hotel or pool areas without a key. Re assuring when you have children. We had an adjoining room on the ground level which was great as we had a little gate onto the pool area. Breakfast selection was fantastic anyone who says otherwise must be mad. Kids entertainment was very good. Will return.
Costa Adeje holiday mean sun, and lots of it! The temperature here doesn't vary too much, with winter lows circa 15 to 20° Celsius, and summer highs nearing 30° Celsius. There's not much rain either, so if you want to get wet, dive into the pool or the warm Atlantic waters!
