The staff here were very pleasant and helpful. The very quiet location on a little street near the castle made it a pleasure to return to after our jaunts in the town which is busy with tourists even in April. The room was attractive, comfortable and very clean. It has more character than than the larger chain hotels and we would choose this hotel again. The breakfast area adjoins reception but that was no problem and we found the breakfast to be good value in relaxed surroundings.

This hotel was all that I hoped for and more. It was historic and charming and in a great location in Prague. It was within walking distance of the Charles Bridge and the Castle district if you don't mind walking a little. If not it was close to tram and metro stops that could connect you up to anywhere you wanted to go in Prague. It was not on a main street so it was quieter which we appreciated. The staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. There are always little things one could pick at, but all in all it was a great experience. One thing I thought of was that it could be hot in the rooms in the summer as I don't think they had air conditioning. It wasn't an issue for us at this time, but I can see how it could be. We did have one dinner at Delice their restaurant next door and it was very good. Breakfast was good and what is commonly served at hotels in Europe. My husband even commented that the coffee was the best he had on our trip. I would highly recommend a stay here.

I visited this hotel with one of my friends and when we checked in, I wasn't feeling very well. Long story short: I was sick in the courtyard. The receptionist was really lovely about it and, as well as giving me some water, upgraded us to a room on the ground floor, as our original room was on the 3rd and there wasn't a lift. Our original room was just a double, with a normal-sized double bed. The double bed in the upgraded room was huge!! Like two large single beds joined together and we had our own duvets, which was really good, as we are both cover-hoggers. As well as this, there was also a sort of living room, which was also huge! This was really handy for getting ready on nights out, as girls tend to chuck clothes everywhere. The breakfast was also lovely and, I'm not a coffee drinker but my friend is, and she said that it's some of the best coffee she's ever had. I'd definitely stay here again :)
