Just returned from 4 night stay and to say we are disappointed is an under statement. The room allocated was in itself clean and acceptable but that is were any positives end. We were staying block A and the noise from the surrounding bars and clubs goes on until almost breakfast time. The food served in the restaurant is very poor and always cold. We were staying on a half board basis and as such had to pay for drinks which in itself is not a problem but a large beer was requested I was abruptly told that large beers are not served in the hotel. There is a TVs in the room but serves no purpose to any British guests as there are no English channels available. Having stayed in other Sol hotels in mainland Spain without complaint this experience one We would not like to repeat. No way can I agree with the 4 star rating.

The hotel had missed our reservation when we got there and then proceeded to tell us they were full. After arguing with us they suddenly found the email which our travel agent had sent confirming our details. Then we walked into our room which was opposite Veronicas. All the reviews I had read said this was the worse place to be because of the loud music. Too be fair when the nightclubs were in full swing and the balcony door was closed you could hardly hear the music. The food was ok although we only had breakfast. The room was fine and very clean. The only problem I had was the pool area. I couldn't believe people were going down on the night time and putting towels on the sunbeds. I saw it with my own eyes. This should not be allowed. Overall I would stay there again

This was our second visit so we e mailed the hotel asking for a quiet room without a connecting door as last time we had a very noisy room so we were given a lovely room on the 10th floor in A block. However a warning the baths are very slippery and no grab rail or bath mat and my husband had a really nasty fall while having a shower. I didn't think the food was a good as last time neither was the entertainment. Still we had a nice holiday overall.

Just back from the Sol tenerife. This was my third visit i don't think it's worth the money that they charge. The food was ok but it was cold on quite a few occasions. The rooms are ok cleaned everyday the sheets changed every two days. The maid that did or room was very nice and friendly. If you want a room that does not get any noise from the strip e-mail the hotel a couple of days before your stay. Ask for a room overlooking the pool and garden area. I was in room 309 in A block no noise at all. If you are british and like to watch a bit of tv for the news etc. The only channel you can get is bbc world news. If you want a sunbed then you have to be up early and join the scrum it's not very good. If you have walking problems be aware that their are about 20 steps to climb or a walk of about 50m up a slight hill to leave the hotel. The only alternative is to go through the pool area onto the sea front. then it's a bit of a walk to all the bars etc. Overall the Sol is ok but nothing special.
There's little rain here except for the odd shower in winter, and it's permanently humid: 17° Celsius on average at New Year compared with temperatures in the late 20s° Celsius by the summer apex. The water temperature is also constantly warm, and fresh Atlantic breezes stave off any oppressive heat.
As UK, Courses or boosters sometimes advised: hepatitis A (not normally for package tourists).
