We stayed B&B at the Aguamar Apartments in July 2015. We are a family of four, with two small children. We would honestly say we would go back tomorrow. The staff are more than happy to help. The food at breakfast was a continental style breakfast and more than enough choice. The rooms consist of a bedroom with twin beds, pushed together to make a double, a bathroom and a living area with kitchenette and a sofa bed for the children. A balcony for every room. All balconies face the swimming pool. We were on the south side of the building and I would say the only slight downfall was the noise from the bars across the road. Being serenaded to sleep by Celine Dion karaoke style-it was so hot we had to have the window open in the bedroom, however the hotel had provided a fan (without us having to request one) which was good. You get the usual rush for sun beds in the morning, luckily this isn't til 9am-so not too horrendously early on holiday. The hotel is situated just outside the main part of Los cristianos, being a five/ten minute walk to the seafront but there are fabulous restaurants everywhere. Definitely try margaritas, and pizzeria deccapo. A big thank you for making our holiday special.

Just returned from a 10 day stay as a family of 5, 2 adults and 3 teens. We went self catering and had a 2 bedroom Apt on the infamous road side. For the money we paid we couldn't really fault the place the pool was ok it an get a bit crowded but where doesn't it in July and August. There isn't any air con but we knew that when we booked and even though it was very hot at night it wasn't unbearable nor was the noise from the road. The walk to the beach is about ten mins down and a bit longer coming back up. The bottom line is we have paid more money to stay in a caravan in the UK for a week than we paid to stay here for 10 days and we all enjoyed it. Enough said.

All I can say is the one bedroom apartments are an okay size , bit of squeeze as there was 3 adults and 1 child in ours... But we only slept there , so it wasn't a big issue. The rooms were clean, beds were comfortable and the amenities were good..no air con but we managed. The Pool is much smaller than we thought, as the picture above makes it look big, but We had no problems of getting a sun bed and getting in pool.. Although we did stay at the Aguamar for 1 week 14\07\15 -21\07\15.. Don't know what it is like during the peak times? We would recommend to stay self catering or bed and breakfast! We stayed half board and as a family we were a little disappointed with evening meal .food was edible but choice was poor.. We have had better half board meals at other hotels we have stayed at.. But there is plenty of places to eat out, and quite reasonably priced too... It's not too far from beach, but if you have the energy and enjoy a walk , you could walk along coast line towards playa del la Americas the beaches do get better.. Siam park is worth the visit too as the lads enjoyed the rides but be warned there are queues, recommend getting a fast pass... Overall our experience was pretty good at the Aguamar, PROS :Clean, tidy and had no problems with noise.. Life guard at pool:) Breakfasts nice Maids work hard and reception staff spoke really good English Good area CONS : evening meal not brilliant( edible ) Pool smaller than looked online Having to pay for wifi per device.. €20.. Bit expensive in my opinion.. We used wifi at the bars and restaurants for free..

Just returned from a two week family holiday we stayed half board and to be honest the food is terrible the selection is poor smallest buffet we have ever come across, drinks and ice creams are very expensive at the hotel. The rooms are very basic and are not big enough for a family of four. NO AIRCON! at night the rooms are so hot it's impossible to sleep on the plus side we was given a fan free of charge but with it being so hot the room was just moving hot air around. The beds are very uncomfortable we woke up with back pain every day to the extent we was taking pain killers most mornings. The hotel has bars and shops around it so would advise self catering as its a lot cheaper to eat and drink out. The location is set back away from everything!!Lots of reviews mention noise from the road not once did we notice any noise it's very quiet at night .They have a life guard on threw the day and this it absolutely pointless!! In 2 weeks they swap and change them but they all do the same texting and eating not really paying attention the pool needs some music threw the day as there is no atmosphere!! On the plus side hotel is clean and tidy staff are polite and helpful this hotel is rated 3* it's a very low 3* and on that basis we wouldn't return to this hotel again..
