We stayed with our 4 year old at the end of May and we all had a great time. The views from the sea view rooms are stunning, well worth the upgrade. We found every member of staff great to deal with, particularly the kids club guys. Our daughter really enjoyed her stay meaning we also really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is a little bit dated in parts but we more than got what we paid for and will certainly be returning next year.

absolutely loved this hotel went along with my mother and my 4 year old son, the entertainment is great the kids will never be bored over here. the staff is amazing everyone was so pleasant to us. we had a sea view room which made the holiday even better waking to that every morning. if i do not return before September i will definatley be back next summer. the staff i liked the most have to be Ricardo the photographer and Jonathan the barman. the staff from the flinstone club need a gold medal for all their hard work with the kids and the entertaining at night time really good workers and deserve more. also our maid rosha kept our room immaculate we could not fault this hotel at all

Just home from a week long break in Sol Lanzarote and we really enjoyed our stay. We were in a one bedroom self catering apartment. While the room was a little tired it was clean (except floors which were gritty with dust) and the location is excellent for a quiet holiday right beside the beach. The hotel is right on the outskirts of Puerta del Carmen so wouldn't suit anyone looking for a party pad but great for families. There are plenty of taxis and they are very reasonably priced. There were plenty of sunbeds and decent pools - the toddler pool was pretty grimy although didn't put our daughter off! There's also a really nice cocktail bar on site with sea views and plenty of entertainment - the usual mix of singers and shows plus some mad running round for kids. We would definitely have considered a return visit but unfortunately we heard that the hotel is going all inclusive at the end of the summer. The breakfast is decent and worth having a few times (€7.50 a head) even if you are staying self catering but lunch was fairly grim on the one day we had it. We're not into all inclusive so probably won't get back there which is a shame as we loved the location.

Stay here last year and love it even gave a great trip adviser review last year. But this year was very disappointed with the place. Firstly "Carlos " the man at reception wasn't very friendly and very bad attitude and anything we asked him during our stay was a problem to him. We were given a flinstone themed room which we didn't ask that could of benefit more to the young family staying next door to us. The overall resort hadn't been maintain to the standard of last year. You could tell they weren't doin anything because the hotel is goin all inclusive from October and closing for a month for renovations. Won't be staying here again as not paying for all inclusive because the food isn't nice in the hotel . Very disappointed overall with the hotel his year !

Weather

The thermos and thermals can stay unpacked because even in the doldrums of winter, Lanzarote holidays are a sure bet for sunny temperatures averaging around 15 to 20° Celsius, soaring to near 30° Celsius by summertime. People who like rainy holidays can look elsewhere - by Matagorda's sun-basked coastline, the best way to get wet is by splashing into the warm Atlantic waters.
