This is my fourth time to stay at the Sands Beach resort. It is almost perfect as a family holiday location. However there are a few little things that could be improved. 1) Tiles. the tiles in the resort (inside and outside) are very slippy so be careful when walking around the resort. 2) Waiters. the restaurant is fantastic but a handful of staff members (very few) don't give you their full attention while taking your order. The last two nights I went there the waiter didn't once look at us he was looking around at everyone else. If felt like he wasn't listening. Also if you get pasta ask for cheese when you order or you could be almost finished before you get it. 3) internet. Its good but you can only get a code for one device at a time and it costs 25 per week. These are small to most holidays makers but I know to others it could be a little irritating. Over all Sands Beach is a great location for a relaxing holiday.

This is our 2nd visit to this complex and can only say that standards have dropped significantly. Nightly entertainment practically non existent and most clients ended up travelling to other hotels in the local area. There was a major swimming competition on during the weekend of the 20th June which had a major impact on the guests of the complex, rowdy and totally unsupervised locals took over the facilities of the resort and even went so far as taking furniture from guests patio area's and used the patio area's as theirs for having their lunch and changing clothes. Many guests complained to hotel and got no satisfaction at all, in trying to calm down these groups and ensure guests were respected. Also we had an issue whereby one of the sun umbrella's situated around the pool area was blown away by a sudden gust, my daughter was hit in the back and pushed into the pool where she received significant damage to her leg, but could have been a lot more serious. Hotel staff on that day made no effort to see how she was and were evasive but got some small satisfaction from Manger the following day. I noted to her the potential harm that could be caused again if these umbrella's were not securely tied down but I have to note that I saw no effort by hotel to address this significant health and safety issue and saw the same damaged umbrella back in its position the following day. The hotel should be those who are fully aware of any weather anomalies that could create these issues and take every effort to ensure the safety of all guests. I hope the hotel address's the issues of guests and strives for the excellence that many of us have experienced previously in this complex .

We stayed here at Easter the week before we arrived they had had some bad weather but the 2week we were there it was lovely but a cool wind we found out that they call teguise breezy teguise .We stayed in a beach front apartment it was lovely only problem was the steps to the apartments have no handrails I did fall down them but my own fault to quick to go down them .The apartments themselves have everything you could want kettle, toaster iron , ironing board and hairdryer they were lovely and clean everyday the cleaner came. The view was fantastic over the lagoon .The lagoon is lovely and clean there are buckets spades fishing nets all left and stored in big plastic containers there was a lovely young man who came and cleaned and tidied the beach every night. My daughter loved the buddy's children's club she went most days and would of gone everyday if we were not doing other things they even gave them swimming lessons in the club .All the pool areas we kept lovely and clean but I felt not enough sun beds but you could use the ones from your terrace but we only had one on our balcony and there were not many sun beds on beach front .we were half board we really enjoyed the food a lot of choice different theme nights even if you didn't like you could have beef ,chicken ,vegetarian all cooked in front of you .Breakfast you couldn't have wanted anything more from cereals, toast, cooked ,cakes and fruit . My son 13 was fishing in the lagoon most days and rock pooling on the beach as well he really enjoyed it We went to the entertainment nearly every night it was quite good particularly for the children parrot shows ,snake and birds of prey kids disco and a couple of nights they did have a singer on but the entertainment was the same as the first week as the second week .The staff were so friendly even remembered what we liked to order and our family name it made us feel special they couldn't do enough for us . The supermarket was good stocked really well and we didnt think it was too pricey very convenient for buying big bottles of water We stayed in BF 53 and we would definitely go back but we like to try different places people seemed to go back year after year .

Many people come on holiday to Lanzarote in winter due to it’s renown as a perennially sunny hotspot, with blue skies and winter temperatures averaging around 18° Celsius. It’s the summer peak that the island is famed for though when temperatures soar to around 28° Celsius. If you’re too hot, splash into the pool or get some watersports in on the beach!
