Party of 9-- 6 adults 3 children 5,8,14. We booked this holiday for my mums 70th birthday. On arrival we was sorted out straight away even tho we got there before check in we got keys to 2 of the rooms the 3rd room wasn't ready as still needed to be cleaned. My room was lovely we had a 2 bed apartment room 1-108 really good size on the corner with a very big balcony with sun loungers! Straight across from the lively pool which was fab and it's really not that noisy it's not quite but it's not that bad either. Bed was great so was pillows sofa very big and comfy to. Mum had the room next door 1-109 a lot smaller and a bit shabby my niece stayed on the second floor above us 2-208 I think ..this was the room what wasn't ready , she got the keys at 4 clock went up to room and was filthy not sure where the cleaners had cleaned in the bathroom bin was dirty with nappies the mirror was filthy both bathroom one and the one in the hall finger marks and lip marks all over it! Wet dirty towels on the floor in bathroom floors a mess. The sofa well it really needs replacing! The hotel it's self very clean. The food is the same as any AL but it was ok we did stay AL but most of the time we went out .so if we stayed again I would do self catering. The kids food is shocking I wouldn't allow my kids to eat it this does really need sorting not all kids like chips pizza hot dog sausages beans chicken nuggets this was every night pretty much the same as snack bar. The meat melted in your mouth I tried the pork beef and turkey all really nice. The hotel is in a great location few mins to the beach and shops buses stopped right outside hotel we did a few trips rancho Texas which was fab and the Cesar Manrique tour which I would differently recommend! We sat laughing our heads off one morning there was one lady what went down to the pool every morning at 7.30 to claim her space and she stayed there till 9 clock when they unlocked the beds I'm sorry but this is very sad 😱 we went down to the pool at about 10.30 most morning we always got beds as there are plenty out of our 10 day stay there was only one day where we never got a bed I'm not sure where all the people came from so we went to the beach and we was the only ones on it, it was great. The hotel as a swop box which is a really good idea we left a big blow up dolphin a blow up bed and bucket and spades so hopefully some other kids will have as much fun as my kids did with them. Would I return to this hotel YES but I would want the same room as it was great room 1-108 i would do self catering if I was to return.

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome and part of the Los zocos family the 2 weeks we stayed went way to fast there are activity's for the children and adults from the time you get up till the time you go to bed every night there was live entertainment during the day there is things like killer pool archary darts water polo aqua erobics .. my children loved the foam party(so did i to be honest)also the locals come into the grounds to give your children or yourself a chance to scuba dive which we did and enjoyed it,the Thomson and hotel run kids club is 100% so helpful so caring and a lovely bunch of people.. kids can join in on the chocolate party treasure hunts around the hotel whilst you relax for an hour or so,the choice and variety of food in the restaurant was brilliant, even the people behind the scene were 100% helpful our key fob decided to stop working we reported it and with in 5 mins they were there to fix it..i would like to say a massive thank you to all involved with the running of Los Zocos from the holiday reps to the higher managment for making our family holiday a FANTASTIC 1..and before i sign off there was 1 special person there that we thought alot of and that is our ALBERTO (HEY BABY) love you lots x,we as a family hope to booking our next holiday and 1000% we will be booking to come here again,so chow for now and hope to see you all soon xx Kelly Eddie Lucy and baby Mia x

We have just returned from a two week stay. This was the 3rd year we have been and not sure if we would return again. Food- every other evening the hotel did theme nights which has some lovely food Sunday dinners, tex mex etc. the other nights was a selection of standard all inclusive foods. The pool bar serves snacks of pizza, chips, salad, toastie, pasta however at times the single chef struggles to cope with the demand and there was just empty trays out. Sunbeds/ pools - there is two pool areas the noisy pool and the quiet area both offer a choice of pools and facilities to get refreshments however most facilities are around the noisy pool. The music round the noisy pool was terrible in previous years it was very cheery and current. I must of heard the song lady in red in the excess of 50 times during our stay! The really negative thing about the pools is the parasol /sunbed situation if you wasn't up for 7 forget getting a parasol for Shade this was still the same after the hotel fitted more. What was most annoying was people would place there towels on the parasols then go back to bed, some never even used the parasol they had reserved either. once the parasol where taken guest were reserving spaces on the concrete by lining their towels on the floor never in my life have I seen it to this level before and nothing was done to stop this. The hotel did address the sunbed shortage and a load new ones where delivered. Entertainment/ staff Alberto was fantastic in his new role as animation team, everyone warmed to him. Unfortunately I didn't think the rest of the animation team were as good as previous years. Leatchin in the dinning room was lovely most days she helped us find a table and always made time to chat to the kids all over whilst she was busy working. The staff in the pool bar worked really hard and was very friendly especially ani,Shirley, fammi . Whilst we was there one member of staff in the pool bar refused to serve English guests a drink when the bar was closing but did continue to serve spanish guests after it closed. Overall I'm unsure whether we would return. Another negative for us was the hotel has been marketed to a more multi national audience this year and with this comes the guest who don't know how to Que and on multiple ocassions would sit in your seat in the disco and refuse to move at one point a man sat in my husband seat in the middle of our group and fetched his family and was reluctant to move, they would walk up and help themselves to your sunbeds too. It became tiring of having to watch your things We have had many of fantastic holidays over the past few years here, met some fantastic new friends and would of recommended it to anyone previously but not sure I would anymore.
