my wife and i visited this hotel around three weeks ago, the service is really really good, the place is clean, controlled, quiet at night and overall spot on. the staff are fantastic to be honest. the wellness suite is really relaxing, the only problem is that we are not really proper sauna savvy so we were a little concerned at first when the majority of people were whipping their kit off to use the sauna but soon got used to it, its quite funny but not taking a towel into the sauna to sit on is considered a crime but naked pensioners is the norm lol. the whole experience of the wellness suite elevates this hotel to a higher place than its ratings on its own. the food was never a let down at all and was adequate at every meal. we will definitely return to this hotel

Hi we are a working class family from suffolk and just retuned on monday 23/02/2015 we are dad, mum, son and daughter age 49,46,18 and 11 and we all had a great time at the hotel which i would rate as 4* and very good as the equipment and facilities it has i would rate as first class. The weather we had was sunshine all week and i have a brill tan even though the forcast will prob say about 18/19c but in sunshine i would say it is mid to late 20c this time of year and the weather we had i dont think anybody would be dissapointed with. It has an underground spa/wellbeing centre which is pure luxury and i visted every morning straight after breakfast. The meals were the normal you would expect from AI and had no complaints, bars open plenty of time and a self service bar so no need to wait if you dont want to. The beach is about a 15 min walk which for us is very easy and the YUMBO is about a 10 min walk straight down the road right in frint of the hotel and this has lots of shops, bars and resurants. there are a lot of Germans at the hotel and a lot of gay in resort which did not bother us one little bit and we had fun. The week we stayed there was only a handful of kids about which some might like but if you have kids who want to play with others they might find it hard to find some one however the hotel has got daytime entertainmet and we were fine with that, maybe in summer it is different. prices were very good most places €2 for a beer but i did pay €1.50 to €4.10 but mostly €2 and a breakfast for about €5.50. And good wi-fi for free which worked perfect in OUR room. have lots of fun cos we did and would be happy to re-vist

The staff here are wonderful - friendly, accommodating and aim to please. The pool, reception and bar areas are beautifully clean, well presented and relaxing ( with only a small number of children and a predominantly German clientele). We stayed half-board but only experienced the dining room once. The food was lovely but there was a great difficulty in obtaining a table, there was a claustrophobic atmosphere and by the time you managed to get seated your food was cold. There are no tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms and the layout of the bedrooms is surreal. The bed is situated right behind the door, parallel to the corridor, with the bathroom in the middle and a 'lounge' area leading to the balcony. The bed area resembled a 'cave' with no natural light as all natural light came into the lounge. The noise from the corridor was horrific as people headed down to breakfast from 7.45am onwards, on a seemingly echoing floor surface where every word and footstep were clearly audible. The guests next door could be heard snoring ALL night and their alarm woke us at 6.am every morning. Conversations were clearly heard from neighbouring rooms. Towels were placed on the sun beds by guests from sunrise, despite no-one actually using the sun beds until around 9am. However, it was my Husband's birthday during our stay and the management sent up champagne and a card. The resort is excellent and we shall visit again in the summer - but at a different hotel. In conclusion - lovely staff, great bar, pool and reception areas, but the rooms really let this hotel down.
Gran Canaria enjoys year-round warm temperatures and sunshine with very little seasonal variation. Summers are hot and dry while winters are slightly cooler with some showers. Like the rest of the island, Playa del Ingles has year round warm temperatures making it a hugely popular choice during the cold British winter.
As UK, Courses or boosters sometimes advised: hepatitis A (not normally for package tourists).
