Day 1. Arrived early evening and find ourselves 'penned' into the family area. First impressions are that the hotel tries to separate the family bookings from the non family which is good if you are on an adults only break. Not like a 'traditional' family friendly hotel though. Good things so far; main restaurant seems good, big selection and my fussy kids have been fed. Animation team mini disco was good kids loved it. For the dads... Estella on tap which is nice, all be it small glasses which makes you visit more. Bar staff seem tentative and very nice. Let's move onto the 'not so great' first Impressions. Rooms isn't great, air con is rubbish. We are in a junior suite. Air con is a small unit in the small living room which struggles to keep that cool, forget it in the main bedroom. Furniture is old and tired, so much so that the base is broken on one drawer and another seems warped in that it won't close. Rooms are smaller than expected although to be fair to the hotel, they clearly advertise the floor space on the website. Just feels small. balconies are really smal, u couldn't, comfortable, get a family of 4 around the table. Old twin beds in the main bedroom which sound like they have had better days. You need to pay for the safety deposit box, 30 euro deposit and over 2 euro a day rental. The sum of these parts measured against a 4grand plus holiday is, so far, not blowing me away.
Lovely holiday, few points for people. Take money for deposits for towels and safety deposit box or you will need to leave your card details when checking in for these items. Loads of nice...
Lovely holiday, few points for people. Take money for deposits for towels and safety deposit box or you will need to leave your card details when checking in for these items. Loads of nice pools, adult only one that can be used without upgrading to the adults section 2 special restaurants both nice 3 bars one of them adults only Drinks were very good, cocktails very sweet but asked for them without sugar and they were then better, the vodka was shocking. Not got kids but there looked like there were lots to do for them and lots of areas for them to use. Nice location about 20 mins walk to harbour and main area which was vast, lovely little bars on beach and on harbour. Entertainment team great around the main pool, not normally one for this but they did some cheesy games and got all involved very funny on many days. Did not watch any evening entertainment so no comment, as used the adult bar or the quiet bar by reception Would recommend

We stayed here from June 13th for 1 week. On arrival, the hotel/resort appeared to be located in a residential area, not on the beach, as we were led to believe, by the lady in the Travel agents "Home & away", who are in Easington, County Durham. The reception area was clean & bright & we were welcomed with a warm smile, but no welcome drink, as promised. We checked in, only to be told that, along with lots of others, that our room was not ready. The girl on the desk suggested that, we have a drink & a bite to eat while we waited. First impressions was that although the food was fine, the buffet restaurant was like my works canteen back home, stand in line, eat & go. At one of the bars a man asked the barman to please top his drink up. "No" the barman replied, adding "that's more than you get in the uk" then he walked off. Not a good start. 40mins later we returned to the reception, to be told our room still wasn't ready. Almost 2 hours later we got our key to our room in the adults only area which we paid £70.00 extra. The suite was immaculate with a view over the pool area & the balcony overlooked the tennis courts. The adult area had a nice pool & bar, but nowhere for food. Occasionally a waiter might appear with cheese & crackers, one day the chef cooked burgers. As for all inclusive... having just left reception after our long wait, I rang to say that the safety deposit box did not work. "Oh, you need to come to reception for a fob key". This would cost me 20 Euros a week! Bottled water also had to be paid for as did replenishing the mini bar, along with a request for a packed lunch. We had one evening meal in the buffet, that was enough. The next night we booked a table at the Asian restaurant, the food was good, but it was just another buffet. The following day we attempted to book a different one, only to be told that it was full & no others were open! Only one themed restaurant open each night, not good. We had three breakfasts, apart from that, we ate out. This place has so much potential, but could be organised much better. We found all the staff that we meet to be polite & friendly & the pool areas, gardens & communal areas were all well kept.

We stayed here in March and we were disappointed, the room 5020 was cold needed painting and the house keeping was poor. Weather was very cold at night, take a fur coat had and gloves! the room was cold as the air conditioning didn't work, we did tell reception but nothing was done about it. No one tells you that on your journey to Corralejo you pass half finished derelict buildings with graffiti which are an eye sore, next to the resort is a half finished empty shopping centre and an unfininshed hotel complex. Negatives over - the food is good considering the amount of people they cater for there is plenty of fresh food fish and assorted dishes to choose from for all meals. The drinks were as expected for an all inclusive resort go to the hotel lobby bar for a pre dinner drink the waiter is pleasant and you get a glass to drink from. The weather was horrendous rain every day and windy - that can't be helped however the resort can not cope with bad wether as the entertainment is all out doors. The animation team - did there best with the guests they were engaging and happy, if you wanted to join in you could if not stop by the adults pool if you can get a sun bed !! Walk into the harbour and try one of the restaurants there if you get stir crazy, you can walk along the beach or into the town on the main roads. Pretty harbour - There isn't a lot to look at on Fuerteventura we hired car and travelled the length and breadth of the island, rocks a few big mountains and goats! Lots of water sport activities, however I would only suggest if you are experienced, otherwise this time of year you would end up in Lanzarote.
Corralejo enjoys year-round sunshine and very little rainfall. Average daytime temperatures vary between 16°C at the start of the year and 25°C during the peak months of July and August.
If that sounds a bit too hot, or if you're visiting with younger kids who are more sensitive to the sun, try taking a Corralejo holiday outside of peak time - perhaps in October or February when the island still enjoys mild weather of around 23° Celsius, so a tan is still possible! The island also receives mild north-easterly winds all year round, so you’ll receive a welcome breeze whatever time you visit. Take particular care during peak season, though, as the breeze can disguise the strength of the sun.
As UK, Courses or boosters sometimes advised: hepatitis A (not normally for package tourists).
