I could not fault this hotel. Although there are over 200 rooms everything seemed calm and spacious. The architecture of the hotel was breathtaking and the interior design had an amazing attention to detail. The spa was luxurious and there was a great well equipped gym - although it seemed to use these facilities when you could be on the beach or by the pool. When we were there, the occupancy was about 66% but there was loads of space at the pool and on the beach and no pressure on the sun loungers - it was difficult to see this being a problem even if the hotel was full. The pool was great and the hotel was right on the beach. Although it was in places rocky on the beach, there was a jetty off which you could swim (being the Atlantic - you need to watch the currents) The breakfast buffet was magnificent wit unparalleled choice (particularly the fresh juices, pastries and bespoke omelettes ). We never eat in for the evening meals preferring to take a 4 euro taxi ride to the town) The hotel had a folder with a good range of excursions which they were happy to book for you (although the electric bikes advertised in a number of place was something of a mirage) The staff were friendly, helpful and seemed to have a pride in working for a great hotel. I can not recommend this hotel enough

We were greeted by lovely reception staff and glass of bubbly, Our suite was ready even though it was only 11 30am It was a beautiful suite with a huge terrace overlooking the private beach and sea. We then had a bottle of bubbly and basket of fruit delivered with compliments! That came in different form every day! The grounds and pool areas were just stunning. The spa was to die for! and food was excellent, All staff in restaraunts were very friendly and very willing to please guests.the on beach club is a joy. I stayed here for 3 nights at the end of June and was blown away! This hotel is incredible and I literally can't wait to return... I have reviewed and stayed at many many hotels, especially 5 star properties and whilst I have given great reviews and been pleased with many of them... Not once could I give a fault free review... We stayed at Sandals Barbados at end of May and I could only give that 2 stars... And even the amazing Sugar Beach St Lucia last year had a few issues... They have got this hotel right! Everything, from the wonderful welcome, the well equipped, clean and comfortable rooms to the beach location, lovely pool areas and great spa. I didn't eat in any restaurants but i did have drinks in the bar and ordered room service... All very good. STAFF They were so professional and yet warm and friendly and wanted to please and put themselves out for you. From the porters to the bar staff to the reception staff. I could not fault them and had wonderful service without fail. My room was cleaned well and not once did I have to wait for it to be cleaned or intruded on within that. ROOM The room was well equipped and spacious... The mini bar had a great choice and was good value (as mini bars go). Outside balcony seating very comfortable. The bathroom was great. My only suggestion would be for a bigger more luxurious bed (like you often get in the caribbean). Room service was great. Lots of choice and again good value as room service goes. SPA Loved this place. Wow... The indoor pools and saunas/jacuzzis etc are incredible and better than any spa I have ever visited (including Champneys).. I enjoyed sunbathing up on the roof next to the whirlpool. I had massages and head massages and all were very good. Also used the hairdressers and I recommend it! Very good and amazingly good value! I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for ANYONE.. It's in a great location, it is comfortable and good value. I cannot wait to return... (And I have only ever returned to one hotel in my years of travelling because I loved it so much)... We wished we had saved the 8 hour flight and the huge expense of our Caribbean holiday back in May... And gone here instead!
Corralejo enjoys year-round sunshine and very little rainfall. Average daytime temperatures vary between 16°C at the start of the year and 25°C during the peak months of July and August.
If that sounds a bit too hot, or if you're visiting with younger kids who are more sensitive to the sun, try taking a Corralejo holiday outside of peak time - perhaps in October or February when the island still enjoys mild weather of around 23° Celsius, so a tan is still possible! The island also receives mild north-easterly winds all year round, so you’ll receive a welcome breeze whatever time you visit. Take particular care during peak season, though, as the breeze can disguise the strength of the sun.
As UK, Courses or boosters sometimes advised: hepatitis A (not normally for package tourists).
