This new hotel is built in the resort of Playa Blanca and located on the coarse sand beachfront Las Coloradas between the Village Playa Blanca and the Papagayo Beach in the south of Lanzarote. Informal & relaxed, this is a great place to escape the crowds. From the hotel you can enjoy the excellent views of the islands of Fuerteventura and Lobos and some of the most spectacular sunsets of the area can be viewed from each room-terrace. Nightlife is relatively low key. There is a selection of restaurants on the promenade.

A little sceptical at first but it was two totally real raxing weeks. Food- faultless, I sometimes prefer not to go AI because of the food and buffet service but Sanos excels here, a continental restaurant which also includes an Italian where pasta is made fresh and cooked individually as you wait, mouth watering.Fresh meats everyday and so much choice. Additionally there is a separate Mexicon restaurant again really good and it's good sometimes just to change the location you eat, an Asian which was also good and French which we didn't try. But overall faultless. I always take cash 'just in case' but it wasn't needed. Location, it is about 3 miles out of Playa Blanca about €4 in a taxi, situated on a rocky beach front, but it was fine. Drinks, we were going to upgrade to elite but decided not to as we don't drink shorts etc and they were fine with Cava in reception and Amstel on draught. Rooms, basic but large enough and cleaned daily, can't complain at all. We were adults and we used the adults only pool. It saved the bun fights for the parasols and beds we could hear in the two family pools. The hotel could invest in a few more parasols to save the hassle for families. Entertainment, I found it poor from an adult point of view but after 30+degrees everyday I was happy to chill in one of the many bars. Overall an excellent holiday with good company, the test is would I go back? And it a yes

This was our first visit to Lanzarote and the hotel was in a fantastic location we were in block c in a royal elite room which was very good and a view of the whole bay with royal elite service you get breakfast in a separate restaurant which is good because main restaurant is very busy at lunch and dinner times, and also with royal elite you get a separate lounge with branded drinks and snacks which was heaven. All the staff were very helpful even though the hotel was very busy this is a good hotel with a few improvements it could be a lot better i would not rule out going back at a quieter time of the year ie less kids running about

Stayed here from the 22nd-29th July, this was our first time in Lanzarote. This hotel provided a very welcoming atmosphere which allowed us to have a very enjoyable stay here. There are few negatives but there are worthy of mentioning. Firstly the wifi is not the fastest- don't expect to get it from your rooms, it only really works in the main hotel. Secondly, the air con is not very powerful, which is something you may want to consider if you are thinking of coming here during a hot season (when we went, it was about 30 degrees every day). The beach by the hotel is pebbly, but a free shuttle bus will take you to a beautiful beach nearby so this isn't too much of a downside. The last negative I would say would be that the receptionists do not always have the amount of knowledge you would hope for them to have- if you want to ask them about directions/buses, they may not have the exact answer. However, there are also many positives- the food is plentiful and there is something for everyone. The entertainment team are very good- the evening shows are of high standard, so make sure to go a little early as seats are always taken. The staff are very friendly and polite, and the hotel and rooms are very clean and are maintained very well. The sauna and jacuzzi are free so make use of this! Overall, I would say that this hotel is definitely worthy of 4 stars, and I recommend it to anyone wanting a well rounded holiday.

2nd visit in 2 years. Arrived on 02/07/15, allocated a room which was fine apart from the view from the balcony, ( wire mesh fence ). back to reception & upgraded to royal elite which is fantastic & good value. Food is good but I felt a bit repetitive. Now for a wee moan, went into snack bar for a cold drink & was told by the manageress very politely to leave as I didn't have a top on. Returned with top on to find topless Spanish guests in the snack bar, next day returned to the snack bar to find the same manageress helping topless Spanish guest work the cigarette machine.I was going to recommend her for promotion to the dinning room to police the dress code but I don't think ill bother. Wi-Fi not brilliant in room
