We was recommended this hotel by Thomson. We was shown different rooms to what we got, there seems to be 2 sides to the hotel! We clearly got the worst half. When we arrived to our horror the rooms were boiling hot with a single fan on the ceiling in the bedroom the child's bed which is a bench with a thin cushion on it. There was cockroach's everywhere even in the main pool. The rep Dani has no clue and is no help you try and speak to the hotel reception and some are so rude ebau especially she looks right through you like your not speaking. It was great for the kids it was like haven holiday camp. I really Would think before booking this place the rooms are vile the cleaner visits but beds are not changed very often and the towels are brown which Iv never seen in a hotel before. We visited the beach and after 4 days sand was still in our room. I don't normally write a review but it seriously was a dirty cockroach invested hotel there was children goin down with a sickness bug one boy was in he's room for 4 days. The wifi is terrible I spent over 50 Euros in 2 weeks. If you like pork and tuna your be ok the food is the same everyday. Please think before booking. Every Time we went in to reception people were complaining the rep dani would roll her eyes and wonder why people are hostile towards her.

Our room was clean, tidy and functional. There is no air con. However we found the roof fan in our rooms to be really adequate, and as our room was in the shade (which suited us due to the heat) we had no problem with the heat at all. The food was varied and of good quality (although there were some unusual combinations, such as chips at breakfast). The staff were really helpful, accomodating and polite. The swimming pools were really nice. I was impressed by the constant cleaning that is employed (around the pools, the walkways, the rooms and everywhere). If you want to claim a parasol (with towels) you need to be at the swimming pools (which I would recommend due to the heat that is softened by the breeze) at the very latest by 8:30am as they tend to go quick. Our family (two adults, two children) really enjoyed our stay. We hired a car for a couple of days (which can be done with a firm based in the reception area) and visited the Timanfaya volcano and went on the coach tour. If you wish to do likewise then don't arrive at the volcano at midday like we did (and had to queue for an hour an a half) but by 4pm there were no queues at all. Puerto del Carmen is well worth a visit also (they had some lovely coves to swim in with crystal clear sea water) and some lovely restaurants at the top of the cliff overlooking the sea. Teguise also has a great outdoor market on Sundays. The hotel says that you can only order one drink at a time. However we always ordered multiple drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and were never challenged. The beer is San Miguel (which was great and delightfully cold). The spirits are not that good as they tend to be unknown cheaper brands. The white wine was good. The entertainment on an evening was a bit "cheesy" at times, but still managed to entertain our 13 year old daughter and 15 year old son. The entertainment staff were very good at getting younger children involved. There is a costal path (just behind the shopping centre on the opposite side of the street from the hotel) that has some great bars and restaurants. Overall we really enjoyed our holiday and would recommend it, and would have no hesitation in booking another holiday there next year.

We stayed here with our two children (age 4 & 7) in May half term. Lovely resort, very clean with extremely helpful staff. The biggest selling point is the 5 pools. 3 in one part of the complex and 2 in the other. One tiny pool perfect for non swimming little ones to splash around in, one slightly deeper for kids more able to swim and one pool for proper swimmers. Lots to do for small children - football, mini golf, swing park and evenings entertainment (free to access). Also mechanical animals they can ride around the resort for a small fee! Also lots of local things to do outside the resort including beach, trampolines, quadricycle & park. The only negative to the resort was the food which was pretty basic and the buffet frequently ran out of the best items. We were very relieved that we were not all inclusive and walked each night to the cheap, lovely local restaurants. Supermarkets opposite the resort provided all we wanted for lunch. I would highly recommend staying here for families - but not to go all inclusive.
