We stayed 2 weeks all inclusive and had an amazing time. We went here 6 years ago&were unsure whether to go again but so glad we did as it is far better now than it was then. The hotel animation team are fantastic and really made the holiday not just for the children but the adults too. Ana, Alberto, Patricia and Justina made sure everyone got involved in the daytime and evening entertainment and had fun. They are a credit to the hotel. The children were gutted to be leaving as were us adults. The rooms were clean and tidy. There is plenty for the kids to do throughout the day. Beach is only a 5 min walk. We would definitely go back to the los zocos and I would recommend this resort to anyone who asked.

We stayed a week in Los Zocos, on entering the two bedroom apartment (3112) we were surprised by how spacious it was, the decor was basic but very clean and rooms cleaned most days and sheets changed twice a week. There is a quite pool which is great if you want a bit of space to read or relax. No problem getting sunbeds. The other pool is where our two teenagers hung out with a group of kids they met. There is also a free wifi area beside the quiet pool. Staff were friendly and helpful. There is entertainment in the bar at night time but there is no loud music to keep you awake. We did not stay all inclusive and tried a good few restaurants in the area, they all have more or less the same menu, food not as cheap as it used to be, but our favourite restaurant was in the main square called Divinia Italia. The beach is a 5 minute walk through a shopping centre onto the prom, there are always lifeguards on duty, if you go up the prom towards the main square go around the headland there is a little beach there which is great for snorkelling and swimming and the locals appear to go there so must be alright. Our kids had a great time and did not want to leave. We would definitely recommend this hotel for a quiet family holiday.

We have just returned from our Family holiday at Los Zocos. Firstly I would like to say how much we enjoyed our stay and we really did not want to go home. we holiday abroad every year with our children for the last 12 years and this was one of the best ! to start our welcome on arrival was just like home, warm & friendly. took us a while to figure out where our apartment was but once inside we were very impressed, it was huge with a large corner balcony & pool view. the cleanliness was to a good standard. The children loved the kids club and the pool and made loads of friends to enhance their holiday. The food was plentiful ,not always to my taste but there was always something for everyone. Breakfast was particularly good. The food at the pool bar probably needs a little variety and could be improved by avoiding cooking so much at the beginning and leaving it sitting. The cocktails were fantastic. there's mini golf, tennis, soccer, kids club and a great location that is very reasonably priced as a family holiday particularly when you book direct and early. What stood out most to me was the fantastic & friendly Team who make this resort, The Management, Reception, Cleaning Team. Animation, Food & Drink servers - a Big thank you to you all for making so many people have a great holiday. we will be back and hopefully very soon.

Returned for Los Zocos after a fab week away. Upon arrival we requested a cot, which I didn't think we would get that night,however,15 mins after arrival it arrived with plenty of clean bedding and fresh fluffy towels - we arrived at gone 9pm. Staff also kept the main dinning room open for new arrivals to grab some food. The food was OK - none of our party (5 adults,1 toddler) went hungry(or got ill),but one tip,in an evening for a more relaxed meal time, got to the dinning room with the ship in,the food area is calmer, the service better and its a lot quieter. (Go through the aqua marina bar and go left,or out of recpetion and go left) its also where the italian is too. The resort itself is well set out with families with children staying towards the back of the resort away from the noisy aqua marina club which is good if you want to keep your child in some form of sleep pattern whilst away. There are two pools, one whilst is shallow enough for kids as well as a seperate pool for kids. The kids entertainment is fantatic, and we managed to catch a few of the later shows including the circus act and micheal jackson tribute, both of which were good, but the only thing that we found was that the general public were also invited so it got very crowded very quickly and the que for drinks was very long. The pool areas are nice and clean, but like all resorts, there are the dreaded sun bed hoggers...as always they are meant to be banned. I found it very frustrating in an attempt to get a shaded spot for our toddler but all the beds with parasoles being taken by said hoggers(as always they were no where to be seen!) During the day the resorts so called independant sun advisor visits the pool areas, this in itself would be a great idea,if it wasn't for the fact she was blatantly plugging her own products and fixated on getting the best tan, advising parents the highest SPF they should use is 30 because anything higher is a sun block!!! She tells every parent their sun cream is not up to standard and then sells them a €40 suncream from her own range! We weren't sucked in...we went home with a happy un burnt toddler. In all the resort is great if you want a mix of activities and relaxing by the pool, its close to the beach, shopping areas and plenty of food outlets. Its also very close to two doctors and a pharmacy, both we unfortunately had to visit, both speak English which is reasuring in such situations. Would I visit again?? Definately!
Many people come on holiday to Lanzarote in winter due to it’s renown as a perennially sunny hotspot, with blue skies and winter temperatures averaging around 18° Celsius. It’s the summer peak that the island is famed for though when temperatures soar to around 28° Celsius. If you’re too hot, splash into the pool or get some watersports in on the beach!
