Just back from a weeks stay at Los Zocos from 17th Aug til 24th Aug 2015. Myself, my husband and 2 kids aged 8 & 6. On arrival Hotel looks fab & weather was gorgeous. When cheking in there was a slight problem with overbooking our 2 Bed Apartment out so had to stay for 1 night in a 1 bed apartment (Rm 1138) which overlooked the pool bar, we told the staff we were not happy with this. They compansated us with free wifi or tv for the week & free safe. We were happy enough with this and thanked Veronica (on reception) who was lovely. We were then moved the next day to our 2 bed which was massive and had a big balcony (Rm 1103). However 2 days in to this 2 bed apartment we had a problem with cockroaches. We advised the reception who moved us promptly to another 2 bed (Rm 1142) at 10pm in the evening. We cannot thank the staff enough for thier service we were provided. We were All Inc and the food was lovely, plenty of choice for everyone, plenty of drinks etc too. The restaurant staff work very hard and efficently and greeted us everytime. We spoke to Janet on our last evening due to myself not informing them of my Nut Allergy!! and ended up eating something that wasnt labelled properly, but was all ok in the end. Janet was checking to see if I was ok and had a laugh with her as she was lovely to speak too. Kids club staff were great especially AVA she was excellent with the children. The shows/entertainment at night were great kids enjoyed them even the adults too. We always lay by the quieter pool and the kids loved playing for hours there. The only thing was people reserving sunbeds & even the spot where they want thier sunbeds with towels, before the sunbeds are unlocked is total maddness, but dont think its ever going to be resolved as I believe its like this anywhere you go! All in all we had a fab holiday and the weather was beautiful. Also our 2 reps were great Dani & Carl, they had plenty of information to provide and help if needed. We visited Rancho Texas in Puerto Del Carmen, fab day out with loads to see & do, thoroughly recommend this. We will definately return to Los Zocos at some point in the near future :)

Holiday was overall very good pools were lovely and refreshing when the heat was a bit much. Entertainment teams both active and thomson were excellent made sure there was something for everyone from small children up to adults, although the main entertainment room was far too hot and seats not comfortable and hard to see the stage as big posts in the way badly designed. Rooms were what I expected as stopped at apartments before all needs covered. Area was beautiful just a short stroll to the beach plenty of bars and restaurants if you fancied a change from the hotels all inclusive. The all inclusive lives up to 3 star, enough choice for everyone although I have had better 3 star all inclusive. Free internet area which our 14year old appreciated and made friends with others the same age. Overall a very good holiday had by all.

I booked directly with the hotel and prior to arrival emailed a request regarding our room. On check in we were please to discover that we had indeed got what we asked for. Check in was quick and informative and Carlos was a great at helping us familiarise ourselves with the hotel. Our room was perfect, clean and quite large - we booked a 2 bedroom apartment. Plenty of wardrobe space - bit short of coat hangars though! The food available was great, every night was so much variety and you could make 1001 meals from the choices. There is a kids section but I don't know why as my 4 year old could eat from the main choices available. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all excellent in the Mirador main restaurant. We ate a couple of evenings in the other restaurant which was quieter and the added effect of the Pirate Ship in the middle delighted my youngest! The snacks at the pool bar were enough for us most days - pasta, hot dogs, burgers, pizza, chips, toasties, salad, bread - so you could make various lunches out of theses choices too. Every day from 3- 5 there were crepes and sauces. The staff work relentlessly serving and clearing tables and all of them with a smile for you - except the Chinese chef who grunted if you asked him a question! The drinks and icecreams flowed all day long! The pool was cool for a few days as there was quite a breeze but on the hot days this warmed up a little but was a welcome relief from the heat. My youngest went to the Los Zocos kids club, mini disco and loved the character Zoki. My eldest (11 years) played football, games, scuba diving, wifi zone, so for a family holiday there was loads to keep the kids occupied and give you some 'time off'! A short walk out of the hotel and over the road you go through a small shopping centre to Las Cucharas, a few bars and the beach front, great day and night. A walk along the front takes you to Teguise which is worth exploring for the atmosphere. Lovely bars and restaurants in the square there too. (Recommend Pablo's - we had 3 fillet steaks, pizza and drinks for about £40) I have only praise for this hotel, the staff, the food, the entertainment team (might be a bit holiday cheesy but you know what you're going to get), I would recommend this to anyone and would happily go back myself in the future.

We have just returned from a fantastic 2 week family holiday staying at Los Zocos. The hotel provided us with everything we were expecting. The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful, and the entertainment staff were absolutely brilliant, bursting with energy regardless of time of day/night, and always had a smile on their faces. Special thanks to Alberto!! The resort was perfect for us, with pool activities and pool bar for my son and his friends, and smaller pool for my daughter who's 3. Quality and choice of food was better than I expected. We would definitely stay here again. I think that the hotel should look at the layout of the evening entertainment and the use of the ship restaurant, which is a lovely venue and not utilised to its full potential. Air con is needed in the restaurant and Agua Marine. High recommend staying here for the money you pay.
