Stayed here July 2015- family of 5. Kids 17, 13 and 11. Booked direct with hotel all inclusive and saved significant amount of money. Staff all friendly. Food good although would've liked more choice of cut fresh fruit in the morning. Daytime Entertainment was reasonably good although 13 yr old felt too old for junior club, may have been better having a teenager group 12-16. Location was great- 2 mins from beach. Special mention to Alberto and Rayco who were always enthusiastic and kept us on our toes. Only minor criticism was AI drinks options were limited and WIFi not the best but not a big problem as we don't drink much and good for kids to be off social media. Overall well worth a visit, good value booking direct.

This was our 2nd visit to the hotel, and both times with extended family. We had one of the older rooms this time, but it was still clean. We got a Free English TV channel but didn't bother paying for the rest. My bed was the most uncomfortable bed EVER. I woke after my first night with a bad back and it stayed with me for the next 3 nights!!! The pillows are lumpy and very hard......they all need replacing. So I didn't really get a good nights sleep in the 4 nights we were there. Location is brilliant. We stayed 5 nights in Puerto del carmen first and caught the local bus to los zocos and it stopped right outside. €12 for 2 adults & 2 children running every 20 mins. We upgraded to AI for 3 days and the food was ok. Only one night when we struggled as it was goat, rabbit and pork! Yuck! Other than that we always found sometime to eat. Breakfast and lunch was the best. Didn't use any of the entertainment as we stayed by the 'quiet' pool with the family. Our boys were happy playing with their cousins, so can't comment on that. The evening entertainment was a bit dire though. Costa teguise is a lovely clean resort. It's our 3rd time there now and prefer it to puerto del carmen. There are lovely places to eat and a great beach. Very windy though, so beware of burning. Don't think we would stay at the los zocos for the 3rd time though. Would like to try the other side of the resort next time. But we got a bargain for 9 nights so can't grumble :)

On arriving at the hotel we were checked in quickly by very friendly reception staff. We went to our apartments and found them to be clean and spacious and cleaned regularly .There was a microwave, fridge and hob in the apartment but we had booked 10 days all inclusive so were not going to need to use these. We found the breakfast had something for all tastes; they had English/Irish bacon as well as the Spanish bacon so that was great for anyone wanting to stick to what they know. There was plenty of rolls and fruit if you did not want a hot breakfast. There is a section especially designed for children that has counters low enough for them to serve themselves food on plastic plates and also plastics cups were there for the kids drinks. I am a very fussy eater and I managed to find something different every night for my dinner. There was food cooked in front of you and there was plenty of salads. The selection of bread rolls was also very good as we find the sliced pan away to be a bit too different from the bread we are used to at home. The wine was ok, the beer was always served very cold. I loved the coffee machines which had hot chocolate too. There is a water machine with a choice of a glass of water, iced water or ice which was really nice and refreshing. The desert selection was good the ice cream was really nice. We sat each day at the lively pool as the entertainment team were great and we enjoyed the music being played, if you wanted a quieter more relaxing break the quieter pool was perfect for that. The large kids pool was just the perfect depth for the kids to play safely. I loved seeing the life guard keeping such a close eye on the pool. The animation team were so friendly and made sure that everyone around the pool adults and children alike felt relaxed and welcome to join in activities if they wished to. My teenage son enjoyed the archery, shooting and darts and my younger girls enjoyed the pool and mini golf along with the mini club. The pool bar was lively; the staff were friendly and served very quickly. They served burgers hotdogs pizza and toasties and even pancakes which went down a treat with the kids. Also the kids could get small tubs of ice cream. We saw a parrot show, a Michael Jackson show, a bird show and a circus show so I did think the night time entertainment was good. There is quite a few pool tables and machines with lolly pops etc. that are €1 a go so do expect the kids to be looking for change at times. Also there is a photographer on site who takes photos during the day around the pool which I ended up buying that night I couldn't resist. If you planned on having a nice family photo taken when dressed up for dinner she is also around taking photos during the evening and the prices were reasonable enough. The all-inclusive worked out great for us as the kids were constantly looking to cool down with drinks and ice cream throughout the day. My girls are picky eaters and were able to eat little and often throughout the day. We had a great holiday and would highly recommend these apartments. We read the reviews before we booked and it is plain to see there is a lot more good than bad. We hope to return to Los Zocos
