me and my friend stayed her this June into July for 1 week... apartment was very clean fab bathroom with power shower. as it is high up in the mountain the view are amazing we walked down to the beach for the first 3 mornings(approx 15 mins) as it was very steep are muscles began to ache so all other times especially up the hill we had taxis just under €4 one way . Puerto Rico itself is beautiful and friendly a taxi boat to Porto Morgan(€13 return) is well worth the day out if you want to see this quaint fishing village go any day but a Friday market day is Friday. we also did the dolphin in their natural habitat trip this was amazing cost €31.50. Back to the hotel it is a friendly helpful quiet hotel big enough to have 3 pools 1 for each section of apartments.Good variety of food 3 times a day but no snacks but we didn't miss the snack side of things. very close to the Europa complex with bars shows and free WiFi also supermarkets. At the duty free shop haggle for perfume prices but they can't on tobacco products. This time of year is out of season but we already looking at going back this time next year and taking more friends. Some of the people we met had been going back for the past 16 yrs and said don't write up on trip advisor. This hotel is quiet any issues was sorted straight away. Annie runs the bar and restaurant one of the families asked for a certain dish on their last night and it was on the menu. This place doesn't feel like a commercial hotel it felt like a family run one. There wasn't any Jeremy Kyle contestants or drunken I payed for it so I will drink it till I pass out type of people there. A little basic gem of a hotel hidden in the side of a mountain with beautiful views and great staff. A little bit more expensive as all rooms come with full kitchen facilities which we used for our early morning coffee over looking the mountains. Just to say not suitable for rowdy abusive drinkers they like you to have as much as you want to drink but do not tolerate rudeness. All in all a 4☆ hotel advertised as a 2☆.
