Hotel Playa Bonita is a great hotel in the heart of popular Playa del Inglés, just a couple of minutes’ walk from the sandy beach and sea, and a few minutes from shopping centres Kasbah and Metro.
We wouldn’t really recommend it for families or couples due to its close proximity to Playa del Inglés’s lively bars and clubs, but it’s a great choice for groups of friends looking for a simple, affordable hotel to use as a base on a fun filled holiday.

Stayed in Playa Bonita because our usual apartments in Gold by Marina were full......However, when we arrived and were told we had paid for all inclusive we were amazed and didn't expect too much........But we were amazed.....Really modern hotel, great food, good drinks and only an 1.50 for the cocktails is fabulous......All in all, I will be booking here again over Gold, mainly because of the food and drinks that we didn't have to pay for, the standard of the rooms and public areas is the same standard if not above in Gold.......AMAZING, keep up the good work, ps....we had stayed in Los Salmones before and were not impressed, they have done a really good job of sorting this place out...

Hi there, me and my boyfriend are coming to stay at Playa Bonita from the 9th June 2015 for 8 nights. We are coming with another couple, and were writing to see if there is anything you could do to get us two hotel rooms next to each other (or close). Also if possible a pool view would be preferred. If this would be possible I can then pass mine and my friends booking numbers onto you. This would be really appreciated. Thank you for you time, hope to hear back from you.

A bit about us. We are a mid age couple and always book all inclusive it works well for us. We came for gay pride week. This was the perfect hotel, great standards nice staff. If the management are reading this we were the ones with a rope lights on our balcony. Every holiday we take lights to personalities the room. Ahhhh you are the ones with the lights.... THE HOTEL. Family orientated but with a good mix of couples, singles and family's all mixing well. I rate the hotel highly it has something for everyone. The hotel is only €3.60 to the Yumbo centre, or a 20 min walk. If you walk you will need a map. We got lost a few times. The hotel only has one pool and one restaurant but it works well. It's a very eco friendly hotel, the hotel next door has balcony lights on most the evening, such a waste. The playa boneta has energy efficient lights and a energy management in public areas so the lights come on when you go past. For us being a eco friendly hotel is very important, they should push it more on their website. ROOM Great room, love the shower. We were in room 3314 and it was to a great standard. They have LED lights hidden in the cornice, very modern and good look. POOL Loved it, enough loungers for everyone. The only day we were at the pool at 10.00am we had no problem getting a good spot. Even at lunchtime we found a good spot with loungers. The pool has a disabled ramp which is good to see. It's 1.5m at the deep end. They have a pool life guard, he was briliant with the children. Some previous reviews have mentioned loud music, I don't think it's loud, it is for the water aerobics. The water aerobics was fun, the life guard is a bug guy like myself but he was game for dancing from the side. Look out for the young guys carpet carrying by the pool. They are the ones who walk like they are carrying invisible carpets under their arms, to make them look muscular. DRESS CODE. Did not see one, some people were told not to wear swimwear in the restaurant which was quite right. It's Europe you will see the occasional woman topless. I don't see what the problem is but some people are reserved. RESTAURANT As you would expect good food. SAFE A small charge, but we did not use it. It's a shame I believe a safe is esential and should always be free. TV. Did not use. POOL TOWELS Free pool towels, nice touch. WI-FI. We were told it was slow, we did not use it. Our mobile network is three mobile back in the UK and because of this get all my tariff allowances I get back home, even calling home was free for us. BARS. The two bars were great and a good selection of drinks in glasses. Some hotels use small glasses not here. Yay. A let down was the long que for the bar during the entertainment, we were in the que for 15/20 min. To the end of the week the que's did go down, the hotel responded well. Don't remember the bar tenders name but the bald guy was great a good asset to the resort. Look out for Angela at the pool bar, she was a great help. Some people mention about the drinks being too strong, we found them just right. If you prefer more mixer you only have to ask. ENTERTAINMENT. As you would expect a good mix with a chezzzy camp touch. We partied in town most nights and the entertainment was a great starter for our night out. OUTSIDE THE HOTEL Just a short walk away is a great selection of shops, bars and restaurants.
Gran Canaria enjoys year-round warm temperatures and sunshine with very little seasonal variation. Summers are hot and dry while winters are slightly cooler with some showers. Like the rest of the island, Playa del Ingles has year round warm temperatures making it a hugely popular choice during the cold British winter.
