Hotel Playa Bonita is a great hotel in the heart of popular Playa del Inglés, just a couple of minutes’ walk from the sandy beach and sea, and a few minutes from shopping centres Kasbah and Metro.
We wouldn’t really recommend it for families or couples due to its close proximity to Playa del Inglés’s lively bars and clubs, but it’s a great choice for groups of friends looking for a simple, affordable hotel to use as a base on a fun filled holiday.

Stayed for 2 weeks in July and just got back. The hotel rooms are of a very good standard and all kept very clean and tidy. The staff throughout were all very pleasant. The food was always to a very good standard and there was a very good variation in the menu. The entertainment was ok and the animation crew tried their best with daytime activities. The area is run down and there are a fair amount of derelict buildings around. Building work is in progress on other surrounding buildings but not really to much of a problem. The beach is visible just a few minutes down the road but getting to it is a bit of a tease especially if you have very young or old with you as there are 130 steps down / up to get to or from. All in all i would recommend to family, friends etc and would stay again.

Stayed at Playa Bonita for 2 weeks in July, the hotel is situated 2 mins from the beach and close to bars and restraunts, also the Yumbo Centre is 25 min walk away or 3 euros in a taxi. The hotel was spotless, rooms were cleaned everyday and the pool are as well, food was average but you had to go 12 rounds with the flies evertime we entered the restraunt.no problem getting sun loungers everday even in the afternoon.the entertainment wa ok but could be better and the barman could do with a little help in the evening at the entertainment bar, wasnt a major problem as you can walk to the pool bar for a drink. Overall I would recommend Playa Bonita as this is a lovely hotel and very family orientated, we met Dont let the negative comments put you off as this

Went to playa bonita for a 10 night holiday in July 2015. Where the hotels situated (playa del ingles) the surrounding area is pretty rundown with lots of building work. Not many nice bars or restaurants to choose from in this area. Upon arrival to the hotel we were given a ground floor room which was a problem for us as, had no privacy and felt like anyone would just walk in to your room when the patio door was open. Requested to change room and they moved us to a much better room free of charge on the second floor facing the chillout bar. Room was very clean and stylish and also supplied pool towels. Note €1 to change at the pool bar. Was a bit disappointed on having to pay €35 for the safe. Most hotels I've visited they are free. Lovely pool which has a nice cool temperature to cool you down from the intense sun. The pool toilets were always clean. Cleaned roughly 45mins to 1 hour. FOOD!!! For the first couple of days the food was average at best. There wasn't a large selection which others have said. We found the food was often a little cold and quite bland. Very disappointed and ended up eating out for most of our holiday. Luckily I took more than enough €'s with us. The drinks at the bar are very standard using very cheap alcohol. Which made us feel ill. To have branded drinks you need to pay more, roughly €3's a drink. The chillout bar says it's open until late. But was always shut before 12. They have a playlist of music which gets played to death. After 11pm you need to pay for drinks which was very annoying. So ended up leaving the hotel to find a bar on the beach. The entertainment was pretty shocking all in all. The best one by far was a parrot show and offered pictures with the birds at the end. Wouldn't recommend this hotel to friends or family. But couldn't fault the room, pool and the staff.
