We were supposed to be at caleta garden but when we arrived we were told to go to the dorado suites hotel as they were booked up and if we were not happy we could go back, and they would sort it , as we arrived at the Dorado we were upgraded to a bigger room not just a studio it was Lovely, very basic but how long do you spend in the room anyway, it was very clean as was the hotel , all the staff were brilliant and very helpful, the waiting staff and bar staff couldn,t do enough for us, the food was ok we ate well at breakfast and had salads and pasta every night we tried most foods every meal, the only thing letting it down, there wasn't entertainment on a night baring a kareoke night which was not our idea of fun, we went to the kings arms which is on the complex but not part of the all inclusive part, they were welcoming, we got sun beds every day and the pool was very nce but deep the kids pool had jacuzzi chairs in it which were nice, all in all we would go back to this hotel

My partner & I stayed here beginning of July, for the money we paid we couldn't have asked for a better hotel. Room was lovely, very large & with a separate bedroom & a nice big balcony. Food was really good, we enjoyed every meal, lots of choice & different every day we especially liked breakfast as they cooked fresh pancakes every morning along with a full English breakfast, cereals, cheeses n meats, fresh fruit, juices & coffee. Lunches were fresh fish & meats cooked in front of you along with rices, salads, veggies, chips & pizzas, dinner always had good choices too & cooked fresh, desserts were really nice lots of cakes, cookies, jelly, every fruit you could imagine, cheeses n biscuits, olives, rice pudding ( which I couldn't get enough of it was lovely ). Pool was great with lots of sunbeds & umbrellas & had the sun all day. Yes the entainment at night was was non existant but it didn't bother us, we had few drinks after dinner then took to sightseeing around the beautiful resort at night then back to hotel for last orders. Very reasonable prices to hire things like safety deposit box & fan, we also paid for late check out at 20 euro so we could spend our last day lounging round the pool. Staff very frienly & helpful. Would I recommend this hotel....yes, will we be going back....definitely, can't wait. Hope this honest review was helpful.
Myself and my other half recently went on holiday to Fuerteventura for 10 nights, we really enjoyed staying here because it was a 15 minute walk to the beach and the same for the town. The room was...
Having read the reviews of this hotel I really wasn't sure what to expect, having just returned, I still ain't sure. As a hotel it was great, room was lovely and very big, exactly what we wanted and needed, nothing we could complain about. The pool area was very good as well, never too busy and also plenty of sun loungers. The breakfast was great, always a good cooked option as well as freshly cooked pancakes. The problems started with the rest of the meals, the food for adults was very poor, for kids it was none existent. We complaints to the tour rep, and it took a week for an improvement to happen, pity it was home time for us by the time this happened. The entertainment in the hotel, well not much I can say, mainly because there wasn't any. They were starting karaoke twice a week as we were leaving as well, seems our complaints were starting to get through to people. The staff were great, always happy to help when needed, apart from the people in reception, who couldn't have been less help if they could have tried. The area around the hotel was amazing lots to see and do, plenty of places to go for dinner, was needed after trying the dinners in here. Would I go again, possibly, but would never go all inclusive as it was a waste of time, food not good enough, and lack of entertainment at night made it almost impossible to stay at their bar all night, but as a place to stay I wouldn't have a problem.
