The positives relate to a good sized room and that the hotel is well situated v the beach and shops. The negatives are that the hotel is very large and noisy.Be prepared to be woken up by loud music and/or late revellers. The food is just not 4*, plenty of it and choice but quality is poor or it is not properly cooked.. We have stayed in other hotels from the Thomson Platinum brochure and have been well pleased. This hotel does not belong in the same brochure. Would definitely not want to return.

Booked a quick week in sun , never been to Caleta de dusted before , regular visitor to fuerteentura up to 15 years ago but never came to this resort. Hotel good quality 4 star, bedrooms contemporary, good condition and size, we paid extra to sta in bulk 3 which are the superior rooms , better furnished , some extra luxuries an location less windy. Pool area larage and lagoon style lots of sun beds so not th usual fight to be beds in morning. As a superior room you have added access to Thalassotherapy Spa which is a haven of peace , you can use sy beds there all day at no charge and you can use all the facilities, gym, spa rooms and polls. The main hotel areas are large airy and contemporary giving a quiet feeling when hotel is full. Food and drink on Al inclusive I good, main restaurant large and spread out so you do not feel you are crammed in, food is generally good and changes daily. All staff at hotel very friendly and will always seem to hello out with local knowledge. The hotel location is excellent , 20m one way to direct access to sandy beach an 20m in opposite direction to pubs, bars and restaurants in resort centre. All in all very good value for money.

We have stayed at this hotel a few times before and have always had a lovely time. It was no different this time, From the time we arrived to the time we went home we had a fantastic time, the staff were all pleasant and the bar staff work so hard to serve you. It is such a relaxing hotel, and the pool seemed warmer this time. When other reviewers have complained about the food I don't understand what would make them happy because there was plenty of choice, from freshly made pure fruit juices in the morning through to the lovely desserts in the evening. There was something for everyone. The rooms are good, although we were a bit dissappointed by the cleaning of the bedrooms, but the rest of the hotel was spotlessly clean. The hotel is well based and in a lovely bay. The only thing I disagreed with was that you have to pay daily for pool towels, this should not be extra cost, I can understand leaving a deposit but you shouldn't have to pay to renew towels.

The hotel as a whole was lovely but the holiday as a whole wasn't as good as I was expecting. There was a variety of food but it was either too salty or fatty. The evening entertainment was fantastic, I think that's the only thing I really enjoyed! The weather was awful, me and my brother stayed there for 11 nights and the only time the weather was great was the first two days. After that the weather was worse than London, at times it would rain then it would be sunny but not hot enough to swim, then it would get very windy and cold! Would pack long sleeved tops, I read many reviews after I booked and now I understand why not many people were happy. ( I would suggest a summer getaway) and there wasn't much to do when the weather was hormonal. It was annoying we weren't able to use the indoor pool of the Spa, apparently you can only use it if you book treatments which I thought was a rip off. If you want sun (like I do) I would suggest jetting off somewhere tropical, which is something I will be doing from now on during this time of year! The Canary islands are NOT always nice all year round, its unpredictable.
Remember that sunscreen on holidays in Caleta de Fuste as Fuerteventura enjoys wonderfully hot weather in the summer, peaking at 30° Celsius in July and August. Due to its location, Caleta de Fuste receives a north-easterly wind that will be welcome if you’re not an avid sun fan! If you feel like heading on holiday to Caleta de Fuste outside of the summer, then the autumn months also enjoy good weather. February enjoys temperatures of around 23° Celsius, so even then you’ll still go home with a good tan!
