I am so disappointed that I have to write this after such a great stay last year. We stayed at Pueblo Torviscas again for 8 nights from Saturday 7th February until Sunday 15th February and unfortunately we were very disappointed with our stay. We had a room (J23) which was a one bedroom apartment. The room was very noisy from the other guests and loud music from Bar Unique. The beds were also very hard and uncomfortable. On our 2nd day (Sunday) every time we switched the kettle on all of the electric tripped out. We phoned reception and were told there was nothing that could be done until Monday as there was nobody available to deal with it. Reception told us we could boil water in a pan on the stove to get a hot drink. On the 3rd day(Monday) we went to reception to see a staff member named Morten to pay the rest of the money for the room as we had left a deposit on booking. We explained to him the issues with the bed, the noise from loud guests and the load music and that consequently we were finding it very difficult to sleep. Morten's colleague even said the previous guests had complained about the beds. A member of staff inspected the beds and explained the issue was a broken leg. It was temporarily fixed and a new kettle was later sent to our room. Following another noisy night we phoned Morten to once again complain about the noise. We explained that the beds were also still uncomfortable despite the fixed leg. He suggested that he moved the bed settees into the bedroom to sleep on instead. This would have left us with nothing to sit on in the lounge and defeated the point of paying for a one bedroom apartment. We asked if we could change room. Morten said he would talk to the noisy guests for us and we could move to another room for one night only as the hotel was fully booked and there was nothing else available. We asked if these were the only options and his reply was that he could buy us a bottle of vodka to help us sleep! We hadn't heard anything from Morten by 4:45 that day, so we went to see him and asked if there was anything he could do as the room and block were so noisy. He abruptly replied "like I said there is nothing available" and reiterated that we could have another room for a night. He did say this time that we could have our money back for the remaining 4 nights and see if the other part of the complex had any rooms. However they were also full so we had no choice to stay in our room or find another hotel. We didn't want the hassle of changing hotel so we stayed. The noise continued every night from Bar Unique. The guests next door got louder and we even had to call security twice. Security told the neighbours to keep the noise down but it immediately started again once they had left. We did not feel we could call Morten again as there was nothing he could do for us. We stayed here last year and put a really positive review on TripAdvisor! What a difference a year makes. I know this all seems like sour grapes but it seems that if you complain about anything here nothing will be done. The complex may have been full but Morten should keep a room spare in future for people who complain. Not acting or following up on a complaint is bad management. I have a video of the noise from Bar Unique and from other guests. I will post it on here if I can as proof.

Two evening meals now, in a matter of days. The food choice is very good. Including good choices for vegetarians. My wife's goats cheese parcel was the best she has ever tasted! Likewise my swordfish was cooked to perfection. Attentive and welcoming staff. Live music on most nights. Whilst there are tables inside, on a cooler night do take a jumper/wrap for outside as the wind can creep-in. Good prices and happy hour if you are around in the afternoon.

Sadly our wonderful holiday was affected by appalling behaviour around the pool. If you wish to see why look at my review on Sunset Harbour who are the managers. I Booked i33 through Morten and have no complaints about the studio. Lovely sea views. Sunny terrace lunchtime onwards with nice sunsets. Spotlessly clean. Clubhouse bar has good food and very nice owners. Good heated pool but sunbeds an issue. See other review. If we ignore bad management of the site. Not Morten. Then I would give a 4.

Costa Adeje holiday mean sun, and lots of it! The temperature here doesn't vary too much, with winter lows circa 15 to 20° Celsius, and summer highs nearing 30° Celsius. There's not much rain either, so if you want to get wet, dive into the pool or the warm Atlantic waters!
