We arrived Friday 19th June at 1.30pm to be greeted in Reception by a glass of chilled Cava and orange juice. Reception was quick and efficient and our cases were taken to our room 870 on the eighth floor. The room was clean and nicely presented and our balcony overlooked both the mountains to the right and the harbour and sea to our left. You control the flow of air conditioning to your room well stocked fridge and mini safe available at extra cost if required. The grounds of the Hotel are spectacular without doubt some of the best you will find anywhere in Adeje and a credit to the owners and staff. No matter how busy the Hotel got we could always find somewhere to sit quietly and take in the fantastic views. The sea water pool accessed through an underpass under the prom is another delight of this Hotel with yet more great views. Everywhere you go there is somewhere to sit whether it's loungers by the pool settees on the terrace you will never be short of somewhere to sit. The food was excellent a lot of seafood which was not to our taste but everyone seemed to love it and I enjoyed many healthy salads and the Catalan potatoes were a favourite of mine.Breakfasts were excellent and the choice is very extensive even serving glasses of chilled Cava for those who hadn't had enough the night before. The Staff were always friendly and helpful and helped make our stay an excellent one. We will definitely be returning to the Jardin Tropical and for those with deep pockets check out the "Presidential Suite" perhaps a complimentary upgrade next time we go would be most welcome.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful. Stayed here during the first week of June and loved it. It is a truly classy hotel and the staff are brilliant. The beds and pillows are the most comfortable I have ever slept in/on in a hotel. The food is plentiful and well presented. If I have any slight complaint it would be that they do not cater for vegetarians....unless you want to eat the same pasta dish and salad every night. Even then there were problems as one evening they told us that the ravioli filling was cheese when it turned out it was a meat paste, and there was ham in the cold pasta dish labelled as vegetarian. Desserts were not labelled with ingredients at all which could be a problem both for vegetarians and for those with allergies. Overall 'tho a lovely, lovely hotel where the staff could not do enough for you. If you are thinking of booking, go for a high floor.

having stayed all over playa for the last thirty years or so, this is right up there with the best hotels we have stayed in here. even though the hotel was full and dealing with conferences and weddings, the clever architectural design really gave the feeling of space and tranquility. pool fabulous and always beds available throughout the day. only did breakfast buffet, but this exceeded expectations. big tip is go for a sea view room - we booked standard, although decent room, we overlooked rear of hotel. best feature was bar overlooking the sea, great place to chill out with a cocktail and watch the stars come out. will be back!

My daughter and I stayed at this hotel during the first week of May and prior to our holiday after reading a few of the other reviews I decided to upgrade our room which I am pleased I did. We were shown the rooms we would have been allocated and they were at the back of the hotel and smelt fusty. We were tucked into a corner in room 421 room overlooking the restaurant. It was ideal, on the ground floor and easily accessible to all the hotel facilities. Not much of a view but we didn't spend any extra time in the room except on one afternoon when we had an afternoon nap so other than having a nice restful sleep it didn't matter that we didn't have a view. The room was spotless and the beds and pillows very comfortable, air con worked perfectly. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and professional. My daughter has a peanut allergy and the restaurant managers and chefs were very attentive clearly going through all the foods at every meal time explaining which foods did and didn't contain peanut, which weren't many so she had a wide choice. We had a meal in the a la carte restaurant which was superb. Drinks at the main bar near reception were quite expensive but you get more than an English spirit shot in your glass so couldn't complain! The cocktail bar was amazing (again a bit expensive) and has a lovely view overlooking the sea. As always with many hotels, guests seem to get their pool towels, grab a sunbed and go off for breakfast which is a bit annoying but there was always a bed available. We sunbathed a couple of times at the 'Beach Club' which is under the walkway underpass where it is much quieter, again fabulous views of the sea. Also great staff to help with sunbed mattresses. The hotel location was ideal for walking along the sea front every day. We walked to La Caleta which is has a lovely harbour tucked away but got a taxi back to the hotel. We also walked to Playa De La Americas which was fine but as it was in the evening we kept getting hassled by all the young guys asking us if we would like to go into the bars (obviously on commission!). A trip to Mount Teide is worthwhile. Would definitely recommend this hotel and maybe go back one day.
Costa Adeje holiday mean sun, and lots of it! The temperature here doesn't vary too much, with winter lows circa 15 to 20° Celsius, and summer highs nearing 30° Celsius. There's not much rain either, so if you want to get wet, dive into the pool or the warm Atlantic waters!
As UK, Courses or boosters sometimes advised: hepatitis A (not normally for package tourists).
