My husband and I returned for a week after staying here in January, again we didn't think we could get better service and accommodation in this area. We arrived by taxi it was €23 from airport, greeted by reception with a glass of welcomed fizz, and the porter took our cases to the room. As we had stayed before we didn't need an orientation of this beautiful hotel, although it is offered as the grounds and rooms are so spread out over this oasis. We had booked half board. Our room was one of the comfort rooms, we had wifi service and full signal free of charge in the room and it covered most of the hotel grounds. Waiting in our room was a complimentary bottle of fizz, chocs and fruit....nice touch hotel jardin tropical ...thank you, it means a lot to be remembered from a previous visit. The room was overlooking the mountains and I have to say at this point the pillows are the best I have ever slept on...so much so that I will be looking for them for my home. Our room was kept spotless, and our balcony was very pretty. The minibar was stocked up also. When we arrived I asked if we could have tea/coffee facilities in the room and within five minutes a tray with everything needed was delivered. As we were half board we used mimosas restaurant and the range of food on offer is excellent, I really cannot imagine anybody not finding something to enjoy. Guests on half board can also get a discount of €20 each to use las rocas restaurant during the stay, which we did...las rocas is one of the restaurants used on the TV prog take me out!!! It over looks the sea on a high pinnacle....this was a fantastic experience and the quality of food and service was exceptional. There is also the pool restaurant, again the calamari here was a treat I miss it already. Sun beds were no issue at all, there was always a free bed to be found whatever time of day, and pool towels are provided free of charge daily or even hourly if u like. We spent a lot of time in the downstairs area this time as the weather was good, the saltwater pool is filled up fresh from the sea everyday, I have to admit it's cold to get into but once in its excellent, this would be my preferred pool as there are no chemicals at all in here very eco friendly. The area outside this beautiful complex is good to reach las Americas and going the opposite way El duque...both nice walks but the fact we had gone for a chill out we only ventured out once!! We were too relaxed within the tropical oasis we didn't feel the need to venture further. All staff members are a credit to this hotel, they are so friendly and polite and treat every guest like royalty, it's not often you will find a hotel with staff members like this. We used the bar on the reception level for afternoon coffee, might I add served with a biscuit and a chocolate, another nice touch. In an evening live entertainment was available without being intrusive...the chill out cocktail bar was a favourite of ours watching the sunset, in comfy chairs. As I said this is our second visit here and it certainly won't be our last, thank you hotel jardin tropical for a wonderful service once again....

Arrived late at night tired and hungry to be welcomed with glass of fizz and a wonderful supper laid out and waiting for us - a great start being made to feel welcome straightaway. Very happy with our choice of standard room with garden view on Floor 5 (this is ground floor as hotel is on a slope). Next morning at breakfast we were staggered at the range of goodies on offer and this was to be the story at every meal. If you can't find something to take your fancy at mealtimes in this hotel then you must be very very hard to please! The hotel gardens and facilities are every bit as beautiful as they look in the website photos and I think it took us the whole week exploring before we had discovered all the little nooks and crannies both inside and outside. We did leave the grounds of course but only out of curiosity as the hotel itself was the nicest place to be. We didn't bother with any of the excursions either but we did participate in the Hobby Kitchen experience where we shared with other guests in making a typically Spanish meal and then eating it together as a party - good fun and very tasty. The hotel was busy but we never had a problem in finding sunbeds and I was not aware of anyone rushing out to book beds early in the morning. Finally and most importantly the staff training regime has obviously been hugely successful. From the cleaners to the senior staff everyone was good humoured and had a welcoming attitude - even the waiters at the busiest times! Wifi was free and reached everywhere that we went to in the hotel and even in the garden and poolsides. Thanks for a great 7 days in the sun :)

This was my seventh visit to this hotel which never disappoints me. The service was first class, the food very good with plenty of choice and the drinks reasonably priced. The hotel gardens and pool area are always kept immaculately clean and well presented. It is also ideally situated to walk along the front into Playa de las Americas and Los Christianos in one direction and Caletta in the other. There are numerous bars and restaurants in the area but my tip is to eat in the hotel as the food outside is very variable. The hotel also organises exceptional golf packages at the surrounding courses. You cannot go wrong with this hotel it is an excellent 4* hotel.
Costa Adeje holiday mean sun, and lots of it! The temperature here doesn't vary too much, with winter lows circa 15 to 20° Celsius, and summer highs nearing 30° Celsius. There's not much rain either, so if you want to get wet, dive into the pool or the warm Atlantic waters!
As UK, Courses or boosters sometimes advised: hepatitis A (not normally for package tourists).
