Informal & relaxed, this is a great place to escape the crowds. From the hotel you can enjoy the excellent views of the islands of Fuerteventura and Lobos and some of the most spectacular sunsets of the area can be viewed from each room-terrace. Stayed here from the 22nd-29th July, this was our first time in Lanzarote. This hotel provided a very welcoming atmosphere which allowed us to have a very enjoyable stay here. There are few negatives but there are worthy of mentioning. Firstly the wifi is not the fastest- don't expect to get it from your rooms, it only really works in the main hotel. Secondly, the air con is not very powerful, which is something you may want to consider if you are thinking of coming here during a hot season (when we went, it was about 30 degrees every day). The beach by the hotel is pebbly, but a free shuttle bus will take you to a beautiful beach nearby so this isn't too much of a downside. The last negative I would say would be that the receptionists do not always have the amount of knowledge you would hope for them to have- if you want to ask them about directions/buses, they may not have the exact answer. However, there are also many positives- the food is plentiful and there is something for everyone. The entertainment team are very good- the evening shows are of high standard, so make sure to go a little early as seats are always taken. The staff are very friendly and polite, and the hotel and rooms are very clean and are maintained very well. The sauna and jacuzzi are free so make use of this! Overall, I would say that this hotel is definitely worthy of 4 stars, and I recommend it to anyone wanting a well rounded holiday.

2nd visit in 2 years. Arrived on 02/07/15, allocated a room which was fine apart from the view from the balcony, ( wire mesh fence ). back to reception & upgraded to royal elite which is fantastic & good value. Food is good but I felt a bit repetitive. Now for a wee moan, went into snack bar for a cold drink & was told by the manageress very politely to leave as I didn't have a top on. Returned with top on to find topless Spanish guests in the snack bar, next day returned to the snack bar to find the same manageress helping topless Spanish guest work the cigarette machine.I was going to recommend her for promotion to the dinning room to police the dress code but I don't think ill bother. Wi-Fi not brilliant in room

After a very stressful start to our holiday we were relieved to stay in such a lovely hotel.. We made the unfortunate mistake of choosing easyjet as our airline. We were bumped off our flight as it is there policy to overbook all their flights for extra profit.. Because of this we lost a day of our holiday with a measly compensation. This aside the hotel made up for this... Lovely big clean bedrooms, lots of space to hang clothes. The hotel over all was very big and clean. There were 4 swimming pools with a poolside bar and snack bar, 5 restaurants, 2 were buffet restaurants serving Italian and mixed international. These were always busy and a bit chaotic during breakfast, lunch and dinner.. But the food was delicious and still included live cooking. The other restaurants you had to book for, these were Mexican, Asian and French. The French restaurant is not included in the all inclusive package. We much preferred booking restaurants as it was a lot quieter, and nicer atmosphere. We did the French restaurant one night and the food was incredible. Would highly recommend doing this while you're there.. The pool area was nice and clean, if I could criticise one thing it would be the abundance of children. The website didn't portray it as a real family hotel which was what was appealing to us. We're a young couple and didn't really want to be on holiday with lots of loud children and parents. The noise wasn't unbearable and there is an adult only pool which made it better.. The fact it was a family hotel also dominated the entertainment which was a bit gutting. The upstairs bar and outside bar are open until 11.30pm, after that it's just the snackbar which just has Amstel, wine and soft drinks that you help yourself to. The upstairs bar is really nice, big balcony looks over the whole hotel. We spent a few days out visiting the attractions and going to the market, it's a good location but would recommend getting a car. Taxi's are really easy to get from the hotel and are very quick. Hotel staff are friendly, would definitely stay again but would probably book the as elite all inclusive for the private bar.

Stayed here in May 2015, to start with i'd like to say how friendly and relaxed this hotel is. Our party of six adults and two children had a fantastic week stay all inclusive. Our room overlooked both the pool and sea, possibly the best view I have ever had from a hotel room. The food was plentiful. Obviously there a reviews that state not much choice but these are probably the same people that overload there plates with everything. You would be hard pushed to find a food type that wasn't there. The pools were fantastic a bit on the cool side which is normal but if you man up and take the plunge they are spot on. 4 euros would get you to playa blanca in a taxi which was there instantly at the hotel or if you wish it's a great 25 min walk along the sea front past the harbour. I did notice that the hole resort is immaculate, and great choice of restraints and shops overlooking the sea and feurtaventura if you have good eye sight. Drinks were good available all day self service beer and wine!! Or you could pay the extra for premium drinks. The cocktails are fine but not that Keen On the pre mixed stuff. The rooms are cleaned daily fresh towels and are spacious with big balconies which for us is great as week like to put our 2 year old to bed and sit on the balcony and have a drink. One thing I. Would say is the rooms could do with a kettle, especially being from Yorkshire we need a brew int morning!. Overall great hotel, great location, great views clean and plenty of beer and sun what more could you want from a holiday.
