This new hotel is built in the resort of Playa Blanca and located on the coarse sand beachfront Las Coloradas between the Village Playa Blanca and the Papagayo Beach in the south of Lanzarote. Informal & relaxed, this is a great place to escape the crowds. From the hotel you can enjoy the excellent views of the islands of Fuerteventura and Lobos and some of the most spectacular sunsets of the area can be viewed from each room-terrace. This was our second visit to the hotel having been in 2011. And again we found the hotel just as good as the first visit. The hotel has a variety of pools with one heated during winter time. The rooms were spacious and kept clean and tidy during our stay, towels were changed on a regular basis and the cleaners were always pleasant. With this been a all inclusive hotel the food on offer was always spot on with plenty to choose from. There was a good selection on offer and you could not fail to find something to enjoy. The Chinese is also worth a visit ( we went twice in the week we stayed). The drinks are okay and for a euro you can purchase a branded drink. The rooms at the hotel all have excellent views looking over towards the bay. A good walk along the cliff top brings you to a pleasant marina with a good variety of restaurants and a small selection of shops with more of the same as you continue towards the main area of playa Blanca. All in all this hotel is well worth the money with plenty to do and see. Give it a visit you won't be disappointed.

You cannot control the weather but the wind got old real quick. The facility is beautiful with multiple pools, The view is incredible. Adjacent trail to Papagayo beach is easy for most. The spa is nice but the massage we had was like a back rub with oil for e40.00/ 40 minutes. The view of the mountains is incredible when clear. While we would go back, we would not upgrade to the Royal Elite club because the value simply isn't there. There is a separate bar area for kids and no kids and that was nice. The service in the Royal Elite was all self serve. Premium beverage but not sure if it was the same for non-royal Elite. The food is only average. Beds are rock hard

Defiantly not a 4 star, food was awful same everyday no differentiation. Reception staff were not friendly, unapproachable and basically miserable. Paid to go in the spa, was busy, not all equipment working and when we reported issues, staff were not interested and unapologetic! Very disappointed with the hotel in general. It states on website NO hen/stag parties but it was full of both. Entertainment was also poor. I've been to Benidorm many time and stayed in much better hotels for the same money. On the plus side the room was lovely and cleaned everyday.

The hotel is at the end of Playa Blanca in an semi isolated setting built into the hillside to give maximum sea view's, with glass lift's where possible. The hotel area is in a triangle shape where the several pool areas are on various levels within the centre making good use of every roof space. The main building has a large central atrium over five levels from which you have access to all areas, which leads off in all directions. The reception. On arrival we were given a map of the hotel and given information and directions to our room by pleasant reception staff. We upgraded to Royal Elite so our room was in A-D block which is built into the hillside down five levels to the beach. Our room was on level 5 ground level which gave us easy access to the main building across the central area. Our room was a good size well equipped in the old Spanish style, but what a fantastic sea view we had from the large balcony overlooking the walkway which lead to Playa Blanca. Restaurant's. The main self-service restaurant offers a wide variety of of food, the desert menu could be improved and like most all-inclusive busy. The staff were efficient and friendly. Did try the Oriental Chinese pre booked but were disappointed in the food but had a good atmosphere. Did not try Mexicano. The French restaurant which is extra had a good menu and if you like something special was very good with waiter service. The overall entertainment was a good mix and the show's in the theatre were good. There are several different venues all over the hotel if you can find the location, as the hotel is bit like a rabbit warren and can you could easily miss out on the many good attraction's offered in this efficiently run hotel, which is kept in very good and clean order. Would recommend the Royal elite as the special areas with premiere drinks are far more comfortable, and breakfasts are served in a smaller dinning room. We had a very enjoyable holiday and hopefully will return again.
Cheap Playa Blanca holidays are more or less a fixture for tourists the whole year round, thanks in no small part to the consistently warm Lanzarote temperatures - consistently hot, that is! Hot it may be, averaging around 18° Celsius in December and 26° Celsius by the summer, but sultry breezes, courtesy of the trade winds, mean you’re never flustered. Having said that, ensure you have your sun cream on at all times to protect you from the sun's rays.
