Just back from a lovely week in the Sands Beach Resort. We had a great time as a family never once did I hear we've nothing to do from the kiss. Great family hotel staff were always friendly and helpful. However the lack of air conditioning really would turn me off going back as in the middle of July it was very warm yes there is the breeze but it's a warm breeze so no real benefit and also the fans just recirculate the hit air. Also I've never ever been on holiday before where each room/apartment aren't supplied with a clothes airier and I heard the reason been that the hotel don't like them outside the apartments. In my opinion the clothes/towels hanging over the back of the patio chairs and from the inside of the umbrella looks much worse. Yes you can hire them but I didn't bother wasting my money I just did like most people and used the chairs/umbrella. I probably would return but I won't be rushing back. The buffet restraunt is over priced to as is the mai tai.

This was our first visit to the Sands Beach Resort and we were not disappointed! Staff were extremely helpful and nothing too much trouble for them. The Jet2 rep was also accommodating, just needed to ask. Travelling as family with two boys 14 & 9 they loved the variety of pools although ended up sticking to Plaza del Sol and the Beachfront! The onsight shop was reasonable and the in-house bakery was welcoming! Our apartment was clean, well equipped and spacious with the beach right outside! The restaurant staff were friendly and the menu for breakfast and dinner was ample and tasty! The Mai Tai Pool Bar with its heated pool and jacuzzi made a change some lunchtimes, to watch the kids whilst we relaxed in the bar! We enjoyed this holiday that much we have booked to go back again in 2015 :)

Great location for family holiday. Buddy kids club is well run by very capable staff. On site facilities including laundry service, supermarket, takeaway facility from restaurants etc. Plenty of variety with different pools etc. Resort well managed and staff very attentive. 10 mins beachfront walk to town square with plenty of good restaurants & bars. Accomodation decor is a bit dated & bedrooms are very basic, there is plenty of wardrobe space. Don't be influenced by the hotel PR Rep, very negative about where to go & what to do! Ask around & you'll get the tips on where to go from other guests..
