OK, here's a live and honest review as we are still here. On arrival greeted by a very cheerful reception(possibly manager) who explained we were on the 4th floor as I had requested a low level room, not a problem as they had lifts. Yeah they can be slow say 2-3 min wait but that beats walking the stairs. The rooms yeah are standard but the single beds are the most comfiest I've encountered abroad so no complaints there. We hired a fan but the air con DOES work contrary to some reviews. Again I'd agree a wee update in decor but it's nothing to be upset about. Daytime activities are OK, the usual quiz, football, water pool etc so if that's your thing you're sorted. The entertainment girls do their best but they're employed by the hotel so I guess they can only do so much. The female lifeguard is a pure gem. Mischievous with the water guns and plays with the kids. The food is pretty basic but there is something for everyone but bear in mind they're catering for many nationalities so give them a break. The drinks....a real nuisance with the bar code scanner but if you're patient you'll get there. The kids area is in same part as alcohol so maybe that can be looked at as their wristbands don't have a bar code to scan but the exit area is how the kids can get in. People go on about wasps, yip there's plenty of them but if people were more responsible and take their plates, empty cups to the bins they wouldn't buzz around the sunbed areas !! Evening entertainment I have to say is a let down. To be honest it's the same entertainment girls (3 of them) but it would be good for more musical acts, themed nights rather than the plain old game show types. But the girls try and do their best. Maid service is fab, very polite and are in every day. Actually we havent come across any rude staff which some reviews say so no problems there. All in all we've had a good time, would we come back ? Maybe in a few years time as we tend to do the different islands. But I wouldn't rule out coming back. Oh, it's very quiet at night, no loud and noisy parties of youngsters !

This is the fourth time I have been to palmanova and I am glad to say the mimosa park was my fourth time rather than the first or I would have never came back to palmanova as this hotel has so many faults, they change your towels and do your bed but not once while I was there the floor was cleaned, trust me on this as this is what I do for a living, our air con in the bedroom was very good (room 532) but I no there was lots of complaints from other guests, the air con in the Victoria lounge and in the dinning area was shocking every day and night with the temperature between 30 and 35 the hotel should have been ashamed of them self , food was what I expected pretty much predictable but not enough to cater for kids entertainment through the day was 98% for adults again not much for kids the kids club has been shut for 3 years now so what does that say for entertainment for the kids the entertainment team are there for 10 but start at 10,30 to 13,00 but lets not kid they don't entertain for the 2 and a half hours after they come back they play music till 2.30 even although they say they are away for lunch from 13.00 to 14.00!!!! at night in the very hot Victoria lounge the kids get some joy for 45 minutes as I said all the other places I have been to in palmanova start at 7pm to 9pm for kids then its adult time but even at mimosa the entertainment for adults is so bad after the first night when you see it for yourself we never used it again I will make this clear I did not have kids with me and I am so glad for that which gets me to my balcony to chill with a beer but did not sit out to long as the light did not work when you arrive and get your wrist band the barcode on it scans you in to get your all inclusive after my 6th day it did not work due to the fact the deactivate ours and could not use it more or less saying my time was up even although I still had 5 days to go so much for security what if something had happen to us in our room ?? I would like to say the tall gentleman in reception was very nice but was let down by the other man with glasses and grey beard with his attitude some of the cleaners after breakfast gave you a funny look making your way to the lifts while they were cleaning but what am I supposed to do when I was on the floor 5 one last thing the gate shuts at 9 pm on the dot which means if you are not capable walking up steap steps the only way to avoid this would be getting a taxi to the front door
Wot can i say, had 10 days 5 of them we ate out, had shrimps for lunch badly 2 hours later, lamb chops just bone hardly any meat on them fish nearly every day .room was clean maids did a great job...
Wot can i say, had 10 days 5 of them we ate out, had shrimps for lunch badly 2 hours later, lamb chops just bone hardly any meat on them fish nearly every day .room was clean maids did a great job, but don,t lean on the head bord the bed goes away from the wall i know i fell thro. Lifts forget it we was on the 3 floor and waited 6 mins for one, by the way there is 3 lifts one is round the corner, the waiters could do with some therapy how to smile, one waiter where the lads and girls called him little gestapo always spying on them, no towels on sun loungers be for 7 thats a joke, poor entertainment, was none, girl tried to sing we left went down to the prom. When you go up to the bar to get a drink you have company Wasps. take your own tea bags as their tea bags taste like wood chippings. Yuc.Radio and phone didnt work, its not up to me to report it its the maids job to test it, so all in all i wont be going back to that place with my son and his 2 boys. Im 71 and like a good hol but not at this hotel and to top it all one of my son boys won on the blue stacking game the machine whird then stopped went to reception my son took a picture of the code and was told it was not evidence the little male receptionist said and fobbed us off so good bye mimosa park and hello florida USA disneyland

Myself, wife and 3 children aged 8,13 & 13 spent a week at The Mimosa Park and looking at it first glance it looked fine however I was not very happy on check in when told my wife was on floor 2 and myself and one of our sons was to be on floor 7. After 30 minutes or so we both were put on floor 7 but told it may get noisy up there because that's where they put the stag and he's but they were actually no bother. Well where do I go from here NO air conditioning in the day apart from in your room when they did put it on it was so low you couldn't feel it which wasn't pleasant in 38 deg temperatures virtually no games for children could join in during the day because most activities they had to be 14 no kids club no kids entertainment at night apart from the occasional mini disco no live shows at night basically nothing so we found ourselves going out every night because the balcony lights in the hotel don't work and haven't done for 5 years so we couldn't even sit up there. As for the drinks set up for all inclusive well it's pathetic as you have to go through a turnstile to get a drink and the kids slush machine is in the over 18 area so how they are supposed to get them is beyond me. The TV lounge on level 1 is closed and the Internet room doesn't work. So if you've booked for this hotel I truly feel for you as I wouldn't send my dog there for an hour
