Just checking out today and thought I'd write a wee review while waiting for the taxi . As the titles says it's a hotel of 2 halves . By day the hotel and its staff are fine . The food is what you'd expect for a cheap all inc but myself and my wife are not fussy eaters so there more than enough to try at all times of the day . The self service for drink is a great idea but with the pool bar not open yet it's a bit of treck to get them . The range of ages of people here this week is right across the board from young groups of lads and girls , young couples , middle age coupes right up to some oldies . The entertainers were really good . During the day trying to encourage you to play shuttle board , rifle and archery shooting , water polo etc . Great bunch of guys cheers 👍. The hotel is on the hill so it is a fair hike any time you go out getting back but nothing if your fit an able and sober 😜. The rooms are basic and yeah there's a bit of general tidying up the hotel could do with but come on if your only paying around 20 quid a day to stay all inc what do you want . The only problem is during the night when everyone is returning after a good sesh at 3 or 4 or whatever in the morning . The shouting , screaming and general rowdiness that goes on is nuts . I'm not gonna go on about it but it woke me and wife who can snore for Scotland every night . There was one night of silence as apparently the police were in downstairs and cleared house . It really is the only negative of the whole stay . I know it's a lively hotel which we loved but if they could just get the latter bit sorted then I'm sure this hotel would receive better reviews because in all fairness it deserves it .

I went to this hotel last year with a group of 8. We wasn't too fussed about the hotel too much, as we wanted one that was cheap and close to the strip. The staff was friendly and the cleaners did their job. The only bad points to this hotel was that the food was not great (which is pretty standard) as we ended up eating just chips. Another issue was that when you walked outside in the evening, people would bombard you with drinks and food from their balconys.

Disgusting, Vile & Dirty! Honest Review.

My boyfriend and I have just returned home from "Hi! Honolulu" Hotel in Magalluf.. We were dropped off at the bottom of a very steep hill, had no idea even what direction we were to go, driver pointed up the hill and buggered off. Check-in was was a bit of a shock as we were asked for a €50 deposit EACH. We were not informed of this upon booking otherwise we would have taken more euros with us. We only took €100 so that was all our cash gone. The man in front of us in the queue was complaining of his water not working in his room, reception did not seem helpful at all. After all that, we found our room, had 3 attempts to open the door as it was stiff and needed a little nudge to open. The room itself was dirty, broken and confused. Floor not swept with dust and hair everywhere. The bath was covered in hair and the shower head was split, also entangled with hair. Chest of drawers was broken, tiles on balcony cracked, bedding covered in fluff and hair. The corners of the bath looked mouldy and dirty. The shower went from boiling hot to ice cold every 5 seconds. Bathroom floor littered with pieces of broken grout. The room had no rubbish bin, we had to bag ours up and leave it at the side, the maids did not take the rubbish away. There was also no ashtray available? The decor was odd with half modern and half old fashioned. Lime, purple and pink accents, with mustard yellow and deep red curtains and bed covers. Looks NOTHING like the pictures on here provided by management. I wish. We visited the restaurant very few times because the food was inedible, lukewarm (if that) and you had to dig for a clean plate and cutlery. I seen hair in some dishes on the buffet and I had plastic in my peas on one occasion. The chef made an appearance at one point, covered head to toe in what resembled grease and oil. He had no hair net or chef hat on (explains the hair in food) and his apron was tied together at the back with dirty, old-looking clingfilm. Most of the drinks machines were not in use, so you had to trail to the bar (through the reception area) to get your drinks. I seen a few guests being told off by the restaurant staff for using plates for things that you could put on a napkin ie. cakes, croissants, fruit. The bar was self-service, no staff whatsoever. Tiny, flimsy plastic cups stacked up for you to use. The bar itself was filled with hollow hard plastic chairs, there was no music or atmosphere at any given time and the toilets were disgusting, only ever 1 out of 3 in working order. No entertainment at all the whole week we were there. The pool area was disappointing, very small and dead. Again, no music around the pool area and hard plastic (half of them cracked) sun loungers. The water in the pool looked dirty, there were things floating in it and I could see broken tiles in the bottom of it. At one point I saw a woman fishing out a carrier bag, safe to say we never went in. When booking the holiday we were told there would be a pool bar, this was closed. Again, if you wanted a drink you had to cross the road between the hotel and the pool, up the stairs, through reception to the bar and all the way back to the pool. Sitting in the reception area using the (really terrible) free wi-fi one day, we overheard a man asking the lady at reception if he could have a towel. She brought two over and he asked if they had been washed and she said "I don't know". You will be woken up at 5.30am with all the drunken idiots falling down the hallway to their rooms. NOTHING is quiet in this hotel, you can hear everything. and I mean EVERYTHING. conversations, toilets flushing, chairs moving, footsteps, hairdryers.. EVERYTHING! and yes, that too. I just had a peek at some of the "Management Provided" pictures. The restaurant looks nothing like any of those pictures. Its not even the same buffet counters or tables & chairs. Overall this place is a disaster, absolutely avoid it at all costs unless you're only there to get completely hammered and you wont remember any of it anyway. Hope this helps anyone thinking of going.

Beyond Awful! Terrible! Dreadful!

The view was beautiful and it should be a lovely hotel to visit! However, asked for deposit in case we caused damaged on arrival? My flip flops stuck to the floor; everyone, everywhere was drunk, beyond belief. Abusive, disgusting language, so much so, it frightened me. I heard the F and C word continually. Noise in bedroom was terrible and my bathroom had the smell of smoke constantly as they smoked next door. Food terrible but the ladies trying to clean up were lovely! Could not use swimming pool due to drunk lads jumping on people. I just feel so sorry for the cleaners - sick, cigarettes, drugs and much worse left everywhere.. and sadly mostly British! The hotel manager should do something due to terrified guests. We checked out and went elsewhere. Such a shame as could be beautiful. Please do not take your wife there or girlfriend.
