Sports & Entertainment
It’s an ideal choice for families thanks to the countless activities and facilities on site and in the surrounding area, including a stunning beach just 1 km away, and 7 swimming pools for adults and children. We wouldn't recommend this hotel to couples or young singles as it is aimed mainly at families.
The Club Mac Complex offers a wide range of facilities to suit all ages, including seven swimming pools, a leisure lake and a Children's Village for younger guests. 4 swimming pools, 3 children's pools, Water sports, Kids’ club, Regular courtesy bus service to the beach, Sports area, Five -a-side football, Tennis, Table tennis, Volleyball, Mini golf, Keep-fit classes, Pool tables (at a local charge).

It is a very large complex, which is totally family orientated. (I'm not sure i would stay here if i wasn't taking children with me). 3 hotels are situated on the complex. The complex is lovely and felt very safe at all times. There are 2 lakes on the complex - one of which has pedlo's and canoes which are free until 1pm. (Unfortunately, when you have lakes, you do get some mosquito's and we did get bitten a few times and quickly learnt our lesson about applying mosquito repellent when we went out in the evening!) We were allocated "Jupiter" hotel which i am pleased about, The other 2 hotels were closer to the evening entertainment (which sometimes went on until 11.30pm) so we were far enough away that we could shut the doors and not be bothered by it. We were staying in a Superior room which included a fridge, wi-fi and all of the TV channels. The hotel staff are all fantastic. There is plenty of entertainment to choose from during the day and the evening and you can choose to do as little or as much as you want to. There are some things that have extra charges such as the kids entertainment section at the far end with bungee trampolines, water walkers, bouncy castle, go karts, etc....... There is also a children's play park are. You can do pony riding around the smaller lake 3 times a week. We ate in the Jupiter restaurant every day and found the menu choice to be excellent. There was a huge variety of main courses and sweets. Breakfast was also brilliant - full cooked English (English bacon / sausages), pancakes, omelettes, toast, croissants, yogurts, pastries, etc.... The hotel and complex is spotlessly clean and you will constantly see cleaners cleaning. The rooms are cleaned every day (if you want them to be) with towels and sheets changed as often as you want them to be. The locations is good too - 15 minutes walk to the beach or you can get the free shuttle bus that goes every 30 minutes. Lots of opportunities to go on trips. We went to the Pirate Show near Magaluf. It is not the cheapest of excursions but it is absolutely amazing. As good as any West End Show in London - and that is what you are paying for. We also went on the "Coasts & Caves" boat trip which took you around the coast near Alcudia and included 2 stops for snorkeling. The waterpark is literally opposite the Saturno hotel in the complex and takes 1 minute to walk to. You go straight in using your wrist band and do not have to queue. There are some great slides there for people of all ages and you get 20% discount off food and drink (although the hotel is close enough to go back to for lunch if you want to). Yes, it was very busy as it was the middle of August but it didn't cause us any issues. There were queues to get in to the restaurant at peak times but the staff managed the queues really well and you were never waiting for more than 5 - 10 minutes to be seated. The restaurant manager in Jupiter was particularly great at his job. He was efficient, polite, friendly and helpful at all times and is a credit to Club Mac. The swimming pools were fantastic - 9 to choose from! With plenty of sun beds and chairs to use. There is a daily newsletter from the hotel which is really informative and tells you of local markets and places to visit. My only criticism is not about the hotel.....it is about the parents who allow their young children to wander around the restaurant touching food, picking it up and then putting it back down again. There are plenty of signs around asking people not to let their children do this and they also make the request in the daily newsletter but some parents either don't read or don't care! This is a real pet hate of mine as i don't want to be eating food that other children have been touching. On the occasions i saw children doing this (one aged around 4, one around 5 and one aged around 6) i told them to put it on their plate after they had been touching it. Why do parents think its OK for their children to be wandering around a restaurant on their own? They'd soon moan if the child hurt themselves or got burned from touching a hot plate! Other than my little moan about the children touching food, the holiday was amazing and i would definitely recommend it to those with families.

This was our 3rd year of staying at Club Mac and we loved it! I must admit this was the first time we had to go in the school summer holidays and you could definitely tell that the hotel was much busier than in previous years!. We had a premium room in the Saturno that was anything but premium! (last years room was 5* compared to this years!) we ended up with our 5yr old sleeping on a mattress on the floor as we wouldn't let her sleep in the fold up camp bed as very flimsy and too high off the ground for a small one! it wasn't too much of a problem but to pay £400 for the luxury!! The hotel itself though was excellent and although very busy and queues for everything the staff worked tirelessly and always had time for a hello and a smile :) The pools were more than busy and people reserving sunbeds at 5am didn't help, but we went to the beach and used the pools later when everyone was getting ready for dinner. Or alternatively use the pool down by the kids club as we more than often we had the pool to ourselves!! Overall thought the holiday was fab and we used the beach bus and the bus to the port (in previous out of season had to walk!) which was good, we are visiting Menorca next year but may be back in a couple of years.
Although it can't be helped that it rained the majority of our visit, we found ourselves bored. From our few Sunny days, we found that when the sun is shining this hotel has everything you could...
Although it can't be helped that it rained the majority of our visit, we found ourselves bored. From our few Sunny days, we found that when the sun is shining this hotel has everything you could wish for! Having access to the water park was amazing! Overall, I would love to return, but would do so later in the season where we could have more assurance of hot sunny weather!!

There is loads to do in club Mac that is a bonus (for the kids) how ever is it that busy there that you can not take your eyes off the children for a second in the pool it is that full and busy you can hardly move in any of the pools there is never any sun beds unless you get up at 7am and go and put your towels on there and the cues by the pools are ridiculously long we could end up waiting 20 minutes in the boiling hot sun with no shade! The reception staff are hopeless there over charges us, They didn't take the deposit we paid off and couldn't give us a refund till the next day because they were not aloud to do it with the boss, we checked in online thinking it would be a good help we were WRONG it still tuck us a hour to check in and they said I room would be ready at 1 and it was 3:30 before they were ready There was a lot different food which is good for children they do have a kids corner with chips British sausage nuggets etc The water park was good it was included in the price we paid for club Mac worth a trip across the road there (you have to pay 4:50 Euros per sun bed) But over all a good place and holiday the runs were very clean and tidy :)
