We stayed here for 11 nights in June - myself husband and 2 children (16 & 10) When we arrived our room was already ready for us (12.45 pm) and check in very quick. We were offered a lift with our luggage to our room which myself and my daughter took up whilst my hubbie and son walked up. Our room was basic but clean and just enough storage for all our clothes etc I'm disabled and knew it was a hilly resort but was not prepared for how bad it was and after walking down to lunch/pool/supermarket knew I would not be able to do this on a daily basis so explained our problem to the reception and was asked to come back at 9.30 pm when the manager was available. The management were very excellent and had no qualms in offering another room. We were offered a superior room at no extra charge just up from the tennis court/football pitch which was ideal. The superior rooms are the same but just updated with a modern sofa bed and a massive bed. The splash pool is amazing and all the family loved it even my husband who enjoyed the slides There are loads of us beds available plus separate sections and a further area just below the splash park and e beach is just a short walk away with a further beach accessed by steps. Food was definitely one of the better from AI that we've expericenced and the pizzas an added bonus which were available at lunch and dinner time. Good range of food available at dinner but felt they could of catered more for children but my son ate pasta at every meal with the odd exception of pizza. Breakfast ok but beware that the 3 coffee machine and 2 juice machines do continuosly cut out when in use but staff goe into the back to switch back on. Staff work extremely hard in the dining room dashing around but not enough staff to keep tables cleared and set up for new diners There is no snack bar but drinks available from the pool bar at all times but they do have a snack in the dining hall 5-6 pm which comprised of cold pizzas and cakes but we didn't go as we used to go for lunch at about 2 and were fine until dinner time Can't comment on the entertainment staff but they all looked busy at all times. Maids came in daily and main bedroom sheets changed but not the sofa bed and clean towels daily if required Outside areas always clean and tidy Overall a quiet resort but ideal for a relaxing holiday and would go back again Thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and a massive thanks to all the hard working staff

We have just returned from a week at the Carema Club Playa and had a fabulous time. This was our first time abroad with our pre-school age children, and at the last minute changed our booking to this place having read the reviews and researched the facilities. And we were so pleased that we did. The complex is beautifully kept, in lovely lush gardens and right on the edge of a beautiful bay/beach. So the location is picture perfect. Box one ticked. Secondly the staff are genuinely excellent. Across all areas. From reception, to restaurant and bars and entertainment and of course the brilliant cleaning staff. They all work hard and are at the least pleasant but more often, enthusiastic and very professional. Special mention to Gian Luca, Jean Pierre and Erica at the pool bar. The management team are obviously good leaders because the service levels of the front line staff are consistently good. And this was something that I felt stood out at this hotel. As all other reviews will state the water park and slides are an incredible extra to have on site and provide great fun for all ages. The food is really lovely too. Lots of it, and plenty of variety each day. We stayed in block G and had a view of the bay and the countryside. We were woken early each day with the noisy birds outside and needed to keep the bedroom window ajar because the air con was pretty weak. Probably the weaker aspect (but certainly nothing to overly focus on) is the more basic condition of the accommodation. But if you want 5 star accommodation then you must pay for it! Every other aspect that I can think of is genuinely 5 star worthy. The place is ideal for young families. My children had a fantastic time, and happy children equal happy parents. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone. Go!

Just returned from 7 days stay here so thought I would write while still fresh in memory. Staff superb..keep it up!! from reception greeting onwards. Accomodation...air con brilliant..spotlessly clean, regular cleaning..4 times in 7 days. Few reviews on here moan about the hills the accommodation is situated on....well its worth it..views are tremendous..BELLO! Oh and on arrival we were given a lift up to the apartment and its downhill on the way home so no worries there. Food, Have to be honest...the pizza brilliant and freshly made but after 3 days we decided to eat out as a lot of stuff is hit and miss, but we are fussy anyway so don't let it put you off. Only thing is the beer on tap in the restaurant is bloody awful and is not the same as you get at the pool side bar (trust me I taste drinks for a living). That is my only negative...pool ,waterpark etc brilliant..disco entertainment is good too..but a week is enough I reckon. We are thinking of a return next year already as its just a great location..less than half hour from airport as well.

Location is great for family holiday looking to kick back relax around the complex and visit an almost deserted fantastic beach. It's safe for kids, and had plenty to keep them entertained. The staff in general were great, from reception, restaurant and most entertainment. Luca and pierre on the pool bar were top blokes who always had time for a joke or conversation. The food, well if you like 8 different types of pizza and 8 different types of pasta you're in for a treat every meal time. On the whole it had some good days and some bad days. The kids enjoyed the mini disco upto a certain point a 20 to 25 minute nightly game of musical statues. This was noted by quite a few brits. It had shades of eurovision about it, where the the British kids got eliminated first. And on more than one occasion a teenage family member of animation team won. The evening entertainment. The comedy evening was perhaps one of the most strangest things I've ever witnessed. The pool party was great, and other evenings were ok. Our room was on top of the hill j204. The view was poor. But i don't go on holiday to stand on the balcony. Our room was used for sleeping in and that's it. Beds were ok and room cleaned daily. Not the biggest but not the smallest. In summary. The hotel is geared towards Italians but that doesn't stop it from being a great place to stay.
