Excellent holiday, excellent hotel and staff. Definitely be back. We went self catering and upgraded to all inclusive the last three days, which gave us a chance to enjoy eating out around the beautiful marina and then enjoy what the hotel had to offer. My eleven year old loved it and got involved in all the activities.

We took our grown up kids and grandson of two & a half. We had separate rooms which were kept clean and were plenty big enough. Food was great breakfast lunch and dinner. Plenty of choice, well presented, cooked and tasty. The staff were great and couldn't do enough to help. My only gripe is the there were a number of broken and cracked tiles around the pool which need some attention. Definitely recommended for families with small children and enough to keep grandparents happy too!

We stayed at Viva Menorca for 1 week in June, with our aged 4 and 2 year old boys. We chose self catering. It takes about 1.5 hours on the coach from airport. Hotel is excellent, clean, amenities good for children - the pools in particular are both superb, especially the pirate ship with slides, good for all young ages. Rooms and hotel extremely clean. We were the exception, as nearly everyone else in the hotel went all inclusive. We soon realised why, as the nearest place to eat outside the hotel was 10 minutes walk away at the marina. The beach is a further 5 minutes away (longer if you are unable to carry a buggy over a bridge with steps). Gorgeous beach, sea a bit choppy actually so the kids couldn't paddle. We ate in our apartment every lunch time, supermarket is across the road so it wasn't an issue, it just meant that with 2 young kids (heat etc) we could only afford one trip to the marina each day to eat out. We always chose evening, therefore, we missed the mini disco most nights unfortunately. The entertainment at the hotel was standard, as normal at hotels like this but it was all well organised and it was busy. If you enjoy going out and about to see the sights every day, then Cala n Bosch is probably not the right place as its so quiet. If all you want to do is lie by the pool and be all inclusive, then I don't think you can go wrong here.

Tourist Information

Weather

You'll enjoy the very best of a Mediterranean summer if you choose to take you Cala n Bosch holidays in the peak months of July and August. Temperatures then are a sizzling 30° Celsius during the day and around 24 at night, so you're guaranteed lots of fun in the sun! If you're not looking at a summer holiday, how about enjoying the charms of Cala n Bosch in September or October?

Outside of peak months the crowds will be less evident, but the weather will still be wonderfully warm at an average of around 23° Celsius, so you'll still be able to spend plenty of time on the beach. Whatever time you visit though, make sure to watch out for the green flag on the beach to enjoy a safe and pleasant day out.
