Great location for families with younger children

25 March 2015

We stayed at Viva Menorca in September 2014, and were suitably impressed with the place. We had a 1 bedroom self-catering apartment in the block immediately to the right of Reception, which...

Quite possibly the finest establishment in Blackpool, the owner went above and beyond to service our requirements, the rooms are fantastically furnished with the highest possible quality, the decor is very retro and the views were breathtaking... All in all a lovely place too stay. We shall be booking 2 weeks next year....

Great family holiday

18 January 2015

July 9th 2014. 2 grandparents, my sister and hubby , and me and hubby & ,4 children aged 2 to 7between us. Stayed All Inclusive for a week. We were impressed by the reviews on Trip advisor prior to...

The place smelt fusty, the rooms were disgusting. There was blood on the walls and excrement in the toilet. The shower was held on with black electrical tape, didn't use it. There was a tv from 1989. But it didn't play sound. Dirty cups and a lime scale filled kettle. No tea stuff anyway. We were given one room where the door did not lock, room 118, so moved to 215, where the door had been previously kicked off its hinges, I was told this by the gent on reception, it was a stag do in may apparently, only they hadn't bothered fixing it. They just screwed a screw into it, see photos. I am here now but I assure you it is purely because there are NO other rooms in Blackpool. Believe me I have tried. This hotel is run down, unsafe, and dirty. I was told again by the camp man on reception that guests are to pay on arrival so they don't do a runner, I said are you sure it's so they don't look at their rooms and decide not to stay. He assured me that it was being refurbished in a month, wonderful I said. But I won't ever be coming back to Blackpool again.

Temperatures then are a sizzling 30° Celsius during the day and around 24 at night, so you're guaranteed lots of fun in the sun! If you're not looking at a summer holiday, how about enjoying the charms of Cala n Bosch in September or October?

Outside of peak months the crowds will be less evident, but the weather will still be wonderfully warm at an average of around 23° Celsius, so you'll still be able to spend plenty of time on the beach.
